I flippin love this channel! Everything explained in such a calm and clear way. Also, when a real world airline pilot is getting so excited/enthusiastic about an add on, it must be good! What a brilliant instructor. Thankyou so much Cap! Really appreciate it.
Hi Captain, You are thé best instructor ever 👏 👏 👏 !!! I’ve been watching ma-ny videos/streams but no-one explains an aircraft like you do. It’s very nice to understand, not “overspeeding” spoken and in the meantime relaxing, as I am not English native. I just love your videos and streams. Best regards from Belgium 🇧🇪.
same here i hate when they put the turbo on lol, btw i am from Belgium too and coming back to boeing from the a320/330 is not simple, so a good instructor is paramount.
Great video, thank you! Small nitpick: I don´t know if it has something to do with your recording software, but the mouse cursor is always off the button / option you are clicking. I found myself mumbling "WTF is he doing" for a minute or two at the beginning 🤣
I was about to write exactly the same. Absolutely great video but with you seeming to keep clicking on 'wrong' buttons all the time (below the buttons you are actually clicking) makes it a bit harder to follow, probably because of the recording software 🙂
I was about to write it as well. I think the problem occurs when the base and output resolution of recording software, and the one of the monitor are different.
idk what it is but i find your videos so relaxing even tho im not even planning to buy the 777 nor do i really have much time to flight sim but i still found myself watching the whole video

Being T/R on the 767/300 (thank you Matteo Chewy), the systems seem to operate in a very similar fashion, so no major shocks so far. I think that getting the TCA responses correctly configured will greatly enhance the realism (ergo immersion). Really looking forward to first flight and subsequent long hauls. Great tutorial, thank you Captain. Look forward to the next episode…..👍
Thanks for the video! I learned pretty much everything about the A320 from your channel, and now I got the 777 airborne from cold and dark. Beautiful aircraft by the way!
Brilliant tutorial love watching your videos they are so easy to follow. we are very lucky to have such great content. How easy is it to set up your flight controls, such as the Velocity One Yoke and Quadrant. would it be possible to do a video on this ? 🙏🙏
I love this video. Just one small thing while you were taxiing to the gate at Heathrow you wanted to fit in one of those gates, however, these are mostly for A320 family aircrafts. But on the final taxiway in the video you would have steered to the left you would have been correctly as the terminal 5 B serves for larger british airways aircrafts. But I love what you do.

I am in the 77W in P3D at this time. Very different, thsy have put a lot extra into MSFS. I have it but haven't used it yet, very difficult to get it set up. Great videos, thank yoy.
Hi .. Super video, but I have one question. I noticed that when you click buttons or select things using the pointers, the actual pointer seems offset from the button. Is this an issue in the aircraft? For example, when you selected the MAXIT departure from EGLL, the pointer was actually pointing to a different selection.
Very good video! Questions - 1.) What is the first position UP on the fuel levers when starting? You push through this - what is it used for? And 2.) I thought TA/RA only went on once on the runway, not taxiing...?
Thank you for watching! The fuel control switches have two positions, Run and Cutoff. So they are in cutoff until we start the engine. I think that is what you are referring to? For TA/RA you can do this whilst taxiing, it is inhibited on the ground so will not generate issues. I hope this helps!
Such a great video, as usual! Thank you so much for the time and effort to make it and share. I would like to know, IRL, when do you start boarding, refueling and pre-departure clearance? Thank you so much!
Superb video! I learned so much on top of what I knew already. Thank for you this!! One question.. on takeoff, instead of pressing the TOGA 'screw', can't you just push your actual throttle to max?
Thanks for all the instructions so far.. managed to get the parking brake released and push back but when I power up I don't seem to have duct pressure and I see the throttle moving forward but engines dont generate more power.. some input/advice would be greatly appreciated on how to fix this.

I'm having an issue with the parking break. I'm trying to release it. The switch is indeed moving, but on the screen, it is still showing that the parking break is engaged. I checked, and the chalks are indeed removed. I don't know what to do.
It appears as though your cursor is shown slightly below the actual hot spot. When I try to follow your actions on the MCDU, I lose track. None-the-less, like your other videos, all good!
Not a complaint at all, just an observation: its incredible how different a short haul airplane like the 737 is setup compared to a long haul jet like the 777. Much more manual interface on the 37, and I assume that the shorter flight times leads to less fatigue. Assuming the 737 could fly the same distances as the 777, Id imagine there would be a higher chance for pilot error due to fatigue. While older aircraft were much more mechanical in nature as well, the advancement of avionics definitely benefits the 777 pilot for the distances they fly.
Yeah I noticed it too. I have never seen anything like this before. Maybe it could be his recording software but I'm curious to know the actual reason.
