    Hi Captain, You are thé best instructor ever 👏 👏 👏 !!! I’ve been watching ma-ny videos/streams but no-one explains an aircraft like you do. It’s very nice to understand, not “overspeeding” spoken and in the meantime relaxing, as I am not English native. I just love your videos and streams. Best regards from Belgium 🇧🇪.

    Great video, thank you! Small nitpick: I don´t know if it has something to do with your recording software, but the mouse cursor is always off the button / option you are clicking. I found myself mumbling "WTF is he doing" for a minute or two at the beginning 🤣

      I was about to write exactly the same. Absolutely great video but with you seeming to keep clicking on 'wrong' buttons all the time (below the buttons you are actually clicking) makes it a bit harder to follow, probably because of the recording software 🙂

    Being T/R on the 767/300 (thank you Matteo Chewy), the systems seem to operate in a very similar fashion, so no major shocks so far. I love this video. Just one small thing while you were taxiing to the gate at Heathrow you wanted to fit in one of those gates, however, these are mostly for A320 family aircrafts. But on the final taxiway in the video you would have steered to the left you would have been correctly as the terminal 5 B serves for larger british airways aircrafts. But I love what you do.

    Very good video! Questions - 1.) What is the first position UP on the fuel levers when starting? You push through this - what is it used for? And 2.) I thought TA/RA only went on once on the runway, not taxiing...?

    • @320SimPilot
      @320SimPilot  6 місяців тому +1

      Thank you for watching! The fuel control switches have two positions, Run and Cutoff. So they are in cutoff until we start the engine. I think that is what you are referring to? For TA/RA you can do this whilst taxiing, it is inhibited on the ground so will not generate issues. I hope this helps!

    Not a complaint at all, just an observation: its incredible how different a short haul airplane like the 737 is setup compared to a long haul jet like the 777. Much more manual interface on the 37, and I assume that the shorter flight times leads to less fatigue. Assuming the 737 could fly the same distances as the 777, Id imagine there would be a higher chance for pilot error due to fatigue. While older aircraft were much more mechanical in nature as well, the advancement of avionics definitely benefits the 777 pilot for the distances they fly.

    Good lord. Look at the flap retraction speeds. 240 knots before clean config. she's a bit heavy, eh? i'm much more familar with the fenix a320. this seems excellent.

    Is there a way of chaning the aircraft units from celsius to Fahrenheit or kg to lbs? I have already done this on the flight tablet I just cant figure out how to do it on the plane itself.

    • @320SimPilot
      @320SimPilot  6 місяців тому

      In PMDG Setup, Displays, you can chage the units!

    Just purchased the plane, but due to having MSFS installed on a different SSD (original too small to allow MSFS and add ons) I get messages re exceeding 256 characters, PDMG to their credit are trying to find a work around. Hope they can find a solution, other than mucking around with regedit.

    Hi, do u know why pitch is always up more than 30 degrees just after takeoff ? The FD is not at 15 degrees like yours...it really much more ! Do I have to use TO 2 like you said in the vidéo ? thanks

      Make sure LNAV and VNAV are on. For the first few hundred feet pitch to 15 degrees, disregard FD

    Excellent video as usual. On the FMC can you please comment on the use of the FIX, VNAV and FMC COMM buttons. Is there an option to do automatic step climbs?

    Just out of curious, do we need to load weather into fmc just like A320 or is it automatically done when u hit the flight plan request

      Great question! I unfortunately missed this from this video. In the next one (Takeoff To Cruise) I'll show you how to load the winds.

    your video is very good. Question: How do you turn the front axle wheels? I can't move them left or right 🤦‍♂️

      Do you mean the nose wheel? If so it’s moved by the tiller, the rudder pedals also move the nose wheel a little.

    Do you start with the centre pumps on or turn them on after start to ensure all the fuel is feeding correctly? I saw a video once of a 787 where they said they start without the centre pumps on

    • @320SimPilot
      @320SimPilot  6 місяців тому

      Centre pumps go on as part of the pressurising flow, IF the 'fuel in centre' eicas message is shown!

    Wow the real pilot video and other video are so different. I mostly find others video annoying because they forcefully try to crack their voice to sound deep. Your voice is nice and can focus on what you say
