I was 15 when my idol died. I couldn’t go to school for a week and also spent the following week in bed crying during school holidays. I’m now 62 and 2 years ago I travelled from Australia to visit Graceland. This man was simply beyond great. 💕🇦🇺

Elvis was such a great performer & musician and influenced so many musicians & people I can't say anything that hasn't been said or thought I was just glad to see him when he was alive & performing and I was aware of him, God Bless Elvis 1/8/1935 - 8/16/1977
I have seen numbers of people who viewed the Elvis concert between 1 billion and 1.5 billion ! What's even crazier is that the world population in 1973 was 3.9 Billion !
You guys are the best, love your Elvis reactions. I been a fan since 1956 when I saw him on Sullivan show. I was 12 years old and flipped out. My parents weren't too happy about that. Still a fan to this day, even though I own every recording, I will stop and listen to great reactors like you just to get your take on Elvis. He sang every kind of music and was a generous humanitarian. See "Elvis Presley King of Kindness', he was a kind man who loved his fans. Thanks for making an 80 year old happy. Be Blessed.
Fun fact..Elvis was standing close to his band at the beginning because he was reading the lyrics on the music stand. When I saw him in 1977 he held the lyrics in his hand while he sang this song. It was the first verse that gave him trouble, after that verse he could finish the song from memory
Elvis actually only made three movies in Hawaii, Blue Hawaii, Girls-Girls-Girls, and Paradise Hawaiian Style. He also gave two high profile charity concerts in Hawaii. This 1973 concert for the Kui Lee Cancer fund that was broadcast via satellite in 40 countries and watched by over a billion people. As well as the 1961 USS Arizona Memorial concert which raised a large amount of money and renewed interest for the stalled memorial drive fund and finally got the USS Arizona Memorial built and completed at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. Elvis Presley also loved Hawaii and enjoyed bringing his friends and family there for vacation.
Elvis is hot and super SEXY no one comes close to him. Just saying great video I love Aloha the first time I saw Elvis live in concert super exciting leading up to this concert. I remember waiting in anticipation for it to happen live on tv brought goosebumps to my skin. I still remember it like yesterday. TCB ⚡️

This was originally Frank Sinatras own signature song, then Elvis asked Frank if he could sing it and Frank said "Sure Kid" - but the first time Frank heard Elvis's version he was taken aback and somewhat resentful for awhile because even Frank knew it was a better version than he himself sang - eventually Frank got over it, but that often happened when Elvis sang someone elses song he made it his own and his version was often even more popular than the original.

As a third generation Elvis fan this will play at my funeral. Thank you for keeping Elvis alive
Honored to keep the legacy alive.
My brother, an Elvis impersonator, had his friend, also an Elvis guy, sing this at his funeral. It was very appropriate!

Talking about sweat at the gym if it was Elvis sweat the girls would be rubbing it off with their towels and fighting over it lol
FIRST TIME .LOVE YOU GUYS .HOPE YOU MEAN IT .LET ME KNOW

This version is better on the eyes, But the 1977 version tops this one, just like the 1977 version of How great thou art...So much more emotional.
Sometimes, the classics just can't be beat.
@ReactToTheWorld And once in a lifetime, there comes a artist that make every song into it's own...They call him Elvis.
It’s actually played backwards. Don’t know if ye noticed? Thanks guys. Great reaction. 😀
Yes! Thank you!
My understanding was the amount of people watching the aloha from Hawaii concert was 1,000,000,000 And 1/2 people 😊
I think that suit weighed 30 lbs.....I'd sweat too. ..lol
You try performing hours of songs/movements with little or no aircon back in the 70s see how much you sweat
@React To The World- Check out Elvis song What Now MY Love.
Love your reactions watching from Serbia. Can you guys please check out Dermot Kennedy- moments passed, think you will really enjoy him
Elvis defines sexy.
I love Elvis too. but. . . Frank Sinatra OWNS this song. Everybody else comes in 2nd.
Sinatra couldn’t sing for toffee…no feeling or emotion in anything he sang!! Got sung off the stage by Elvis when they duetted back in 1960!!
@@seanford2358I totally agree. Sinatra was boring.
🤣😂🤣😂
@@seanford2358you do realise what are you saying
@@Gsjsji_jwjsbs yeah, Sinatra was shite…not even the best singer in The Rat Pack - a distant third to Dino and Sammy!!
Elvis was great but this is Frank's song.
Elvis should never have sung this song. Elvis did nothing his way, it was the colonels way or else.
OMG...you are back. You have an unhealthy obsession with Elvis.😂
@@jennyjorgensen9935 Oh Jenny, you are the one that can't answer my question, and why are you here then? still trolling me? thanks for trolling me.
