Frank was good but it was said he didn't like it. Elvis not only sang this song but he lived it. Unique style, iconic voice, exceptional good looks, magic stage presence. He withstood harsh criticism his whole life but remained true to himself and his fans. The 👑 Thanks for your great review.
Elvis character was giving. That was Elvis. He gave 2/3's of his wealth away to the poor, the needy, to his friends, people families who daddy,s were in jail. If you dig and read about this man he will blow you away. He talent and looks were added attractions. You are so kind to listen to this great man and keeping his life alive. Thank you.
Thank you so much for honoring our Elvis. There he stands... his presence owning the stage....looking like royalty and singing from his heart as he always did. Thank you Elvis for giving us so many memories of you. Rest in Peace sweet man.
You are right it does sounds like a studio version. And you know how hard that is to sound like a studio version in a concert hall? Truly amazing, and says a lot about the production of it all with the great musicians he had. Elvis knew how to put a show together. He didn't stand for mediocrity.
Shon, My Way was originally sung & made famous by Frank Sinatra, written by singer/songwriter Paul Anka. Elvis' version was heavily played by local radio stations in my hometown of San Francisco (and, most likely throughout the world) during the mourning period immediately after Elvis' death was announced. Elvis' My Way was heavily requested/played on the radio stations until The King was laid to rest in Memphis. I agree with you. This song definitely describes how Elvis lived his life, HIS WAY. Thank you for your reaction!
This song makes me so emotional because I see it in two different ways. On one hand I think about how he really did do so many things in a way that no one else had ever done and no one else has done to this day. But on the other hand I think of all the things he wanted to do that he was kept from doing, mostly because of his manager. Like you saw in the movie, Elvis wanted to go on a world tour, something that he never got to have his way. He also wanted to be a dramatic actor, another thing that was never done his way. So whenever I hear him sing this I always hear a mix of triumph and defeat in his voice, like he did it his way but not to the full extent that he had hoped for.
Back in the 50’s & most of the 60’s singers did not write their own songs there were specifically song writers & singers paid the song writer to sing their songs. I think that’s why the songs were so much more meaningful back then a lot of the songs told a story. Please more Elvis if you like that type of song try Elvis singing “You Gave Me A Mountain beautiful song & American Trilogy Elvis sang a lot of beautiful songs you just can’t go wrong with Elvis!
🇬🇧 Frank sang this song first. But Elvis's version reduces me to tears, every time. And you're so right Shon, we will never see the likes of Elvis, EVER again. ❤🎙️✨🎶🎼
The Elvis movie broke my heart the way his manager was horrible to him. I feel if Elvis could have traveled instead of being stuck in Vegas he wouldn't have passed as early in life 😢❤ Congratulations on 50,000 subs I've been on your journey since the beginning ❤
I saw him in the early 70's as a teenager. The electricity of the audience was out of this world. Especially the women throwing their panties at the stage. I still have the scarf he threw and I caught!
Elvis loved a big sound, so you're on point about the brass section. There's around 40-plus people on stage that could sound so subtle, then BAM, explosion! Elvis' voice matched the energy that's what made it such a great combo.
Great reaction man 👍. If you only had to pick one artist from the past, definitely Elvis would be the one to get to know. And I would say that even without his music and that’s saying something.
You can't miss with Elvis Presley just keep doing the 72 to 75 year range out of Las Vegas or Hawaii pick any songs you'll enjoy here I'll pick one for you "YOU GAVE ME A MOUNTAIN" Keep up the good work Shon 💪🏼💯
Paul Anka wrote this song for Frank Sinatra. And yes, he covered it often. Remembering that unbelievable day back in 1977. Time stood still when news broke of his death. Only 42yrs young.
Thank you for your reaction Channel , I enjoy watching and listening to you with your honesty on the music you hear. I to love lyrics and the love of music is within my soul. And also about this song I hadn't really listened taken much notice notice of this song until my aunty had it played at her funeral. And she sure did it her way. Thanks for all you do sharing your reaction channel with all. 💜🎵🎶✌️🎼🍀🇦🇺💜
"My Way" is a song made popular by Frank Sinatra in 1969. The song spent 122 weeks in the UK Top 50, a record that still stands. The song is based on the French song "Comme d'habitude" with the melody written by Claude François and Jacques Revaux, and first published by Claude François in 1967
Jane H commenting ….. This was Frank Sinatra’s song, but not written by him. I love Elvis’ rendition of it. He always sings with such emotion & passion. He isn’t just singing the song. He is feeling it in his soul. I don’t think Elvis ever sang a song that didn’t mean something to him. I would love you to do a Reaction on Elvis Presley -Trouble-live 68 Special. It’s a short song, but it packs a real punch. Always enjoy your Reactions. I’m a big fan of Elvis, & have been since the 1960s.
Such a great reaction Shon. It is so fun to see you get back to Elvis. Your comments are spot on and I appreciate your enjoyment of this song that IS so indicative of his life. He was amazing and incomparable in every way.❤❤❤
Love Austin he was wonderful even though the movie itself was not completely accurate. they left out Elvis gospel side and his humanitarian giving. He was the most generous entertainer to ever live. See "Elvis Presley King of Kindness" or "Elvis Presley 200 Cadillacs.".. Thanks man, I appreciate you
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 Fun fact: The original version of this song is by Claude François from France 🇫🇷 And the title is 🎵 Comme d'habitude 🎶 Keep the good work my friend 👍🏼👌👏
I've read that Pavarotti being asked who's voice he'd rather have, said Elvis Presley. Trump adores him, another who's reported to say, he'd rather have been Elvis Presley With the training he could sing opera, his natural vibrato, many in opera have to learn how to do it, was exceptional. His years between 1968 and 1973 he was an adonis. Always will be missed by millions of men and women. The king is dead, long live the King ❤
Ive never watched your reaction videos before but i am now gonna sub because i loved your reaction to the man himself, hw was the greatest there ever will be. I just had to make a comment about how absolutely thrilled. I am that you are back to reacting to Elvis. I was scrolling and scrolling through your reactions and hoping that an Elvis one would pop up. I am absolutely ecstatic. I am back to watching your channel God bless and thank you.
You put a lot of thought in what you are saying and that's why your reactions are so good. You know music and it shows because you catch the little things others might miss.👍👍
The Elvis movie was great but almost every situation had fabricated or untruthful situatiins that never existed. It did not tell the story of the real Elvis. One example out of many that were untrue...It is a documented fact that Priscilla's parents and Cilinel Parker pressured Elvis to marry her.He cried about it and tried to back out three minutes before the ceremony.Elvis called her a manipulative diva. She used Elvis until this day.She has tried to make him a villain and rewrite history as herbeing naive and an innocent victim.Child Bride book author interviewed about 80 people who grew up with her. They state that she learned to be manipulative at a very young age.Child Bride tells about hiw she sought out Currie Grant, an army friend of Elvis. They worked out an agreement that he would introduce her to Elvis, her idol, by trading sex to him.She was just fourteen, but not a virgin, having had several boyfriends before meeting Elvis.Elvis' immediate family member and best confidant, who lived at Graceland and within a feet yards from Elvis his entire life , stated She just wants money.Elvis loved her "so much" that he left her out of his will.He refused to let her keep the Presley name but she took it right after he died. She is a home wrecker, breaking up Mike Sone's marriage to his pregnant wife while she too was married.Priscilla is a cunning, despicable person. She is the worst thing to happen to him.She is responsible fir helping him to an early death. In March 1977, the year he died, she placed a $700000 lien against Graceland, amost bankrupting him.Elvis has a much better legacy than Priscilla has tried to change. He and everyone ekse only deserve that the truth be told.Mist Elvis fans know the truth.
Yes he was unique and if he seen a dude commenting on his songs without a shirt on he would be like what the heck is going on, grow up my friend is my free advice to you
If you love this, please listen to the original by Frank Sinatra. My way was his anthem. He loved fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Please react to "West Side Story" - Tonight
Thank you for saying that Elvis really was that special because he truly was .

I could hear Elvis sing a song millions of times and it will still bring tears to my eyes.
Absolutely! There will never be anyone to come close to Elvis. He was EXCEPTIONAL. He was SPECIAL. God made him for a purpose he fulfilled..
