@@brittreacts l was lucky enough to have parents that were huge Elvis fans. They took me to see him twice when l was in gradecschool. My mom, at the time worked for our Stare Bureau of Narcotics. Law enforcement. If you know anything about Elvis he was really into DEA etc. One of my moms coworkers, a undercover agent, Elvis would always request him and some of the other agents to be extra security at his hotel. Mo l never met him, nor did my mom but, lve met very few my age that have actually seen Elvis. Always felt lucky my parents took me though, they had zero idea the torment they were in for. 1st it was drum lessons then 3lectric guitar. The reason l picked up the guitar and still play at 54. Yes, lm old.

He is still the best selling single artist and he is still selling records 46 years after he went "home", he is still selling enough to get GOLD records after he is gone, I know someone might say that Michael Jackson is better selling, no he is not, MJ sold more if you combine it with Jackson five records, but not as a single artist.

Yeah i know, sometimes it doesn't feel like he is even human.
I mean look those early Ed Sullivan shows in 1956, even nervous as hell and no rehearsal, he knew exactly what to do to get the crowd going.
It's like no wall's where to big for him to climb over.
It's like THE LORD was thinking " now you had some rough times with depression and World War, let me create some joy for y'all "
Then he made Elvis for us

I was born in 1955 and I say that because my mother would swoon at the very mention of Elvis's name. If one of his songs came on the radio, we all knew to keep our mouths shut until he was finished. It was sometime in the late 60's when her dream came true when her and her sisters went to Las Vegas to see Elvis live.

@@tonyajohnson7948 yeah, i know,, right? just as my father, and his generation, remembered where he was and what he was doing when JFK died....i remember that hot day in memphis, tennesee on 16 August 1977 when the King left and deprived the world of a lot of goodness. ya see i live on the other end of the state in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. i remember first the radio reports early that afternoon. the seeing it all on tv. the ambulance ride to baptist hospital in memphis. the long line of white limousines and cars behind that white hearse. the lying-in-state and another long funeral cortege to the graveside services. thousands of people of all stripes, colors, creeds, ethnicities, rich and poor lined the routes all along the streets where that long, slow line of cars went. thousands thronged the sidewalks and streets just to watch, hats in hand, policemen and military saluting as the white hearse drove slowly past. our whole nation and indeed the world mourned his passing. it was a sad time in 1977. i have not seen anything like it. even m.j. passing paled in comparison to us losing Elvis Presley. ya might think of doing another reaction to some of his stuff. hey, if ya wanna see something wild look at "Love Me Tender, in Vegas. never seen nothing like it. sorry to ramble. like your style. keep-a-rocking. Peace.

@@awakentotruthmichaelsmith4698Actually, what caused his sudden decline and death was being treated with high doses of cortisone in hospital when admitted for an injury and related pain. In those days they gave cortisone at levels that are forbidden now. High doses of cortisone cause rapid weight gain, muscle loss, constipation, heart disease and other effects.
On top of the terrible effects of the medicine, he was touring like crazy, often doing two shows a day, because that evil manager of his had robbed him blind and so needed pain killers, uppers and downers to keep up the gruelling performance schedule.

I'm 65yrs old.. and saw Elvis in concert when I was 16... but, still today I don't know what to look at first... his good looks, his body, those gorgeous lips, or those eyes... and he just excludes charisma and charm... he was DEFINITELY a one of a kind... I've never seen any other man as handsome as Elvis Presley...❤️😘
