Nice Job Chris.... I just picked up a transpocket 150 this week and hacked off the Euro plug and rigged it up. It is by far the best stick welder I have ever used. I could not screw it up, and usually I don't have to try very hard to do so. I am going to take it into Shasta College Welding Dept next week and have the head instructor put it thru all the typical stick rods and positions and I will post a video of it.
We just held a weld academy for the last two days at Shasta College in Northern California, we had 12 high schools from around the northern part of the state participate. I took a bunch of video footage of it. I now am going to have to learn to edit it and upload the event. Shasta College is one of 5 AWS approved testing facilities in the state. It has a really cool program with about 150 full time welding students. Fronius had a rep out there last year and people were impressed, I missed them when they came out. I am bringing my machine in and will see if I can help penetrate the Miller/Lincoln Moat that is in place with the next round of grant purchases. I can't wait to get some more of your equipment, like the Transsteel 2200 and Magicwave 230i. If the Transsteel 2200 works as well as the Transpocket then I will become a wire rock star to go along with being a stick rock star.
That’s great to hear ! They are both beasts of machines that’s for sure. Keep up the great work with the new age students. Shoot me an email with your information and I’ll get you some stickers - Bliven.christopher@fronius.com

can you have the mig gun and tig torch connected to the machine at the same time??what i mean is can you leave the mig gun connected in when using the tig or do you have to unplug the mig gun and plug the tig gun in ?
Not sure how I missed the question but you can leave the MIG gun connected while TIG welding. Just make sure it’s not laying on the table otherwise it would be hot when contacted
Great video.Where did you get your helmet? I cant find that model anywhere. How do you like the tig torch. Do you find it difficult when using filler rod?
Ron Johnson I didn’t find the TIG torch difficult. It actually felt comfortable with the amperage control right on the torch . You can get smaller back caps to help. I found a hood at shopweldingsupplies.com/products/fronius-fazor-1000-welding-helmet-auto-darkening-9-13 . I would ask them for a Fronius Vizor 4000. This is what I got

Petit Wonders Awesome! The Transpocket is one of my favorites. Is the school located in the US? Fronius is always up for school technology days 🤘
