I’ve been a console gamer my entire life and lowkey I’m not sure I’ll ever get a console again after my PS5. In the past 2 years I’ve slowly gotten more into the PC space. AAA games take way too long to develop now and console exclusives are becoming less common over time; taking away the incentive for me to get a console bc I get eventually get those games with way better performance on my PC. I like that I don’t have to think about console generations and backwards compatibility bc virtually everything remains compatible on PC. My game purchases feel like a “forever purchase” (99% of the time save for some games being delisted). All this is to say that I’m way more excited about PC handhelds bc I can take my games with me anywhere without having to think about whether there’s a version made for portbale since PC gaming is already scalable to begin with. I’m just amazed at how much power can be packed in a portable device now, the fact that they’re even console-like is crazy. To me, handhelds are the new “consoles” and are future
I’ve played on consoles & pc for like forever but consoles, playstation especially don’t make any sense anymore when sony decided to whore out their games to steam. I mean like what’s the point to buy a playstation these days if exclusive games are available on pc ?
I have it and the ROG Ally Xtreme still debating which I'm gonna sell, the ROG has a more premium and like "better" pick it up and go experience but the msi has better graphics and speakers and performance overall seems like, the ultra 7 version in this vid that is, and I mean when they're both not plugged in mainly, performance difference when plugged in I need to check
I have been debating on buying the msi mainly because i like collecting these. I just got the GPD win4. It's nice, but i still just prefer the legion go.......
@@Resurgance_X thats not inline with the handheld phil talked about. He said it would be a local thing because that what people want and the market is operating in that way (the local run machines outsell the cloud only ones, and local gaming on phone outdoes streaming by a wide margin.
My lenovo legion go is so impressive.....right now im running cyberpunk on high graphics using loosless scalling and mods. It looks absolutely gorgeous. I dont even touch my ROG ally or Steam DEck OLED anymore.
Got my MSI Claw yesterday and it’s fantastic! Not an issue so far, haven’t tried messing with the battery settings yet as I don’t want to mess it up. Battery life last maybe an hour in gaming, maybe over - I think this is with “extreme performance” set by MSIs AI thing - haven’t fiddled with this as everything and by everything I mean Fortnite has ran without issue so far 😂
Not an insane increase when it ran like a dead dog at release... I would love to see the numbers, dont really need travel details, its portable, we get it.... How does it now compare to the others, is it worth buying or just wait now for the next gens in 2025.
In the UK here the Claw top spec model is £699 so it will be cheaper than Ally X. From recent videos it looks like Claw performance is on par with the Z1 extreme since Ally didn’t refresh the chip. The display is also the exact same between claw and Ally. Ally doesn’t have Hall effect sticks so that’s a 3rd party upgrade and additional cost you need to consider, or just get lucky and don’t have to RMA when you get stick drift. Battery is where Ally X wins. But I don’t think it is as black and white as saying the Ally X is better in every aspect.
Have you tried gaming on the go? Which device?
Yes, I have, on my phone...
You should do a Rog ally review
Yes, I have, on the ayaneo 2 (it's amazing)
Yes nintendo
Steam Deck OLED. Not even close😊

What games can't you play that you can play on the rest of the handhelds?

got one for sale
If Microsoft brings out that xbox handheld with gamepass natively, it's ovah!
Unless if it’s a cloud gaming only handheld

How do you add game saves from your PC to your MS I close
It uses windows so you can just copy your save files & paste it, should have just work out fine

Hi, do you think it will be able to run Dragon Age The Veilguard ?

Did you saw the msi claw 8 ai specs? Wait 2 months longer because if you buy the ally x u will regret it!
Lol asus, they hate their customers , have poor support and seem to always want to screw their customers.
No.
at the moment the claw s the last device..what you want to buy...the most games under 50 fps...
This video sounds like paid promotion than a review
