You got that right about overgrown properties, which makes it very hard on your equipment, belts, etc. I know from experience. Charge accordingly. I will take or leave it. It doesn't matter to me, I have enough properties to tend with.
Give me a Ventrac and turn me loose. I was gonna start at $500. Maybe I’m way above the mark on this one. lol. I love cutting yards like this seeing the before and after. Y’all be safe careful and keep up the great work. Bruce in Wv!!!
That overgrown property screams brush hog or maybe a sickle mower for the first pass just to see what may be in it. I saw a video where there was a mile or more of fencing. They used a smaller sickle mower for under the fences leaving just the post to trim around which they sprayed with a herbicide. Sure beat hand trimming.
wow that is cheap. When I moved to my house here in Dayton not in country but I have .42 acres. It was over grown. and not as bad as that, part of the deal was the seller had to pay one time mow. My relator got a bid for $500 to move it. That house you showed look like at least 1+ acre.
usually within city/ town limits where code enforcement can get ya, overgrown costs are way up. cause mowing companies know if the city has to come do it, its a similar price, + court fee's and a lien till ya pay the city back.
@@pepsilove6306 what I was surprised was it was no violations. Reason why it was not being mowed is because the owner passed away. My Neighbor went over and mowed it sometimes and we kind of take turns on mowing each others side yard. He will get around my mail box etc. I just think it is just much easier that way and I think i do it more but honest I dont care love doing it.
need a good compact tractor that you can put a bush hog on it wish i was near you and could work out a deal i would be more than happy to and open minded to join your program to get places like this down and under control
That's exactly where I started then bump it up to 700.00. I live in connecticut and I realize that regions change as far as pricing. Things that they do I would never do. Double cut a lawn, using a trimmer as a mower. You've got 3 people, wear and tear on equipment and time. $300.00 for minimum 3 hours of work is selling themselves short by a long shot. Get mulching blades if you're gonna mulch the grass. Close the chute half way. Less grass to come out the side.
Well you have to double cut because I don’t care what lawnmower you have it’s not going to cut it nice and perfect on 1 cut you have mow it with deck high then drop it some mow again and still it will look better but going need be done few times get it in shape
I know a guy who has a 42” walk behind flail mower. He STARTS at $200 an hour for a flat, moderately overgrown yard (like that one) in N.C. A place that looks abandoned like that is paying cash up front before the mower even comes off the truck!
On the tick, next time, light a match or use a lighter and heat up a needle or something and touch the back or backend of the tick, it will back out. Just be careful.
Need a tic tweezers to properly remove tics AND their pincers. If you yank em off the pincers are still embedded and discharging their poison. My skiddy and bush hog would be the ticket for that nasty overgrown yard. I would NOT take a lawn mower in there. I value my equipment for more than one job. The proper tool is safer, lasts longer and .....
I was thinking $800.00. Place is huge. four hours wages per person is $100, so $300 just for wages. Workman comp, taxes, fuel, equipment, etc. Gonna take an hour just to walk the place and look for bricks in the lawn. I found a 1/2" x 12" metal rod in a lawn the other day, yikes.
$1,000 payment up front. I did one with 5 foot weeds a week ago and when I woke Sunday, my Prostance had its first flat tire. Can't win on those yards... Especially when dealer refuses to fix flat tires :( Pushed mowed lots of yards until a tire specialist fixed the flat. Worst thing is that I took mercy on the customer and did it ProBono! No good deed goes unpunished!
Why are you mowing these crap jobs.... You're are caught up on other mowing and those properties are groomed perfectly...... So you're not racing around??

Need a Ventrac for the overgrown lots!
That would be closer to a grand in Ma.
Love the smell of fresh cut grass
Hello 👋
Wow that property is really overgrown 😮
i know all about it i put my new $1400 8.5hp masport mower through that hight wich had no problems wich pretty strong tough mower
figured it would be around 300, for similar growth on a standard 1/4 acre lot I usually charge 130.
Lot looks a lot bigger than 1/4 acre
Good evening Shawn, Savanna and G.
Did a waist-high yard on Saturday, an actual cutting of approximately 1/2 an acre. 600 BUCKS
It's 1.01 acres lot
Keep up the great work and I hope u will have a great evening until next time.....
Ya I hate tics .. used to visit my dad every year in Kentucky. He owned 70 acres .. I got tics every time .. Hate tics
Hi..did you google the color of the tick to see if it is a carrier of Lyme disease... That would be bad.... Deborah 🇨🇦
$725.00 and you said it spot on
HARD ON EQUIPMENT
Good evening shawn and Savannah
400.00 for it to look good
Wow G is doing a great job and I know that it is great to see him on the mower also great for the viewers also.
I saw an idea somewhere for dealing with tick. Reverse wrap on th duct tape so they can't climb
The pic he sent was from the rear, you commented the back looked thinner.
I would say 300 to 500 depending on how long it takes and how many times you have to mow it to make it look decent..
Give me a Ventrac and turn me loose. I was gonna start at $500. Maybe I’m way above the mark on this one. lol. I love cutting yards like this seeing the before and after. Y’all be safe careful and keep up the great work. Bruce in Wv!!!
How do you get those stripes on the lawn
My son is 15 and wants to start his own lawn care. He currently has 9 yards equally 400 per week. Round about how many total yards does your team do
Isn’t it nice when they don’t spray the sky’s or geo engineered weather?
Why dont you do edging ??
They do if the customer pays for it
Initial mow... $400, then $100 a week to keep it up... in my area, a standard 1/4 acre lot is $50 on average. That one is easily an acre...
Yup 1.01 acres lot
How big is the lot? 2 acres?
Seat belts, please. It's the law.
Your mowers stripe nice and ever though about getting a stripe kit for them?

Good Evening Team Spencer
Shawn I’m admiring your skills engaging the blades with forearm on the control leaver while pushing the toggle switch with same hand! You the MAN.
800.00 half-day mowing.
Good work guys I would changer 500

if i had the equipment and 2 helpers, i would charge easily $1500 just do to the amount of time and wear on everything
What size is that lot? Looked to be well over an acre but i wasn't clear on the property lines.
It's 1.01 acres lot
The barn belongs to the neighbor
Big yard $450 first round
$500 all day long! If not more…

Shawn, TQ and G should be proud of what their lawns look like when they leave. Awesome Quality and customer service.
750.00
@@mikerichard-FOPA3 right on the 💰
at $300 thats cheap - Something like that here in New Zealand could easily be in the $835 USD + Tax range
I know a guy who has a 42” walk behind flail mower. He STARTS at $200 an hour for a flat, moderately overgrown yard (like that one) in N.C.
A place that looks abandoned like that is paying cash up front before the mower even comes off the truck!
It's partially renovated and up for sale I believe and 1.01 acres lot
450. Mow and go.
320 always enjoy your video have a great upcoming Tuesday
Wow that was good money all day long and keep up with good work and God Bless
Put some sulfur in an old sock, dust shoes, boots and pant legs to the knees for ticks and chiggers.
VENTRAC Time!
$700+tax with a 50% deposit required before starting. Anything breaks, customer acquires the cost of breakdown and time lost with equipment
When are the homestead building vids coming out?
Depends on how many acres. Looks like 3-5 acres. $630.00 for first to maintain $365.00-$390.00
It's 1 acre lot and barn is neighbors
$365 Clean-up and $135 to maintain it.
Hey Team Spencer, man that property was tall. I would have charged about 600 for a double cut.
On the tick, next time, light a match or use a lighter and heat up a needle or something and touch the back or backend of the tick, it will back out. Just be careful.
500 trim the interior thing first
I thought your price would be $500-$600......
Need a mower attachment for your skid steer
I was thinking around 400 because of size height of grass and checking for debris in the yard
15:45 I love overgrown property’s 💪🏻🔥🇺🇸💯💰
Good evening
Yo! MGK here
Do you guys have a mulching plate for exmark 60 ?
$550 for that job.
300?! You would NEVER get a job in SD!
I'd say probably 350 to get it.Mowed down and then you're probably looking at one fifty or so weekly
300 wtf
The stinkys truck we call them a fish & chip truck where l live
Hope you get paid doesn't look good for payment 😜
Need a tic tweezers to properly remove tics AND their pincers. If you yank em off the pincers are still embedded and discharging their poison.
My skiddy and bush hog would be the ticket for that nasty overgrown yard. I would NOT take a lawn mower in there. I value my equipment for more than one job. The proper tool is safer, lasts longer and .....
450 and I would cut it using a ventrac with a rough cut mowing deck and after that I would recommend a finish cut mower.
$1.00 min per person. 3 people 1.5-2 hours $360-$480.
You’re cheap. I would’ve been $600 today then $125 weekly
You need a tractor and mulch mower
Go $400 Shawn you know that’s overgrown but I understand 3 guys won’t take that long
500 for sure.
Brush hog for the skid
If it was me Mowing I`d Charge around maybe $ 400
No way!! I guess $300 before hear what you would charge
450 would be my price
$750 all day long
$700 New England prices.
$600-$800 on the low side.
First cut $700.00. After that 300
340.00 $ for the first ttime need to buy lunch
If I was you I would rent a Ventrac to mow that overgrown lawn and I would charge around $350 to mow it
I paused the video. I own a lawn care company in Anniston Alabama and I said $280.
1 acre lot
$450 to $500 for my guess. Pending maybe $550.
$1,000 payment up front. I did one with 5 foot weeds a week ago and when I woke Sunday, my Prostance had its first flat tire. Can't win on those yards... I've been battling tendinitis off and on in both elbows.

$550. nothing less
$2000
Wow now you talking lol! Jk that’s a crazy price unless it was including the other possible building he showed.
Barn is the neighbors and it's 1 acre
Why are you mowing these crap jobs....
