This handgun was a great deal and I couldn’t pass it up. The XDM lineup has always been well made in my opinion. Great ergonomics, good reliability, excellent features, and a very serviceable magazine capacity make for an outstanding competition or self defense tool.

Breaking news, EDM Elite is now coming to California approved list of handguns. Its on my wish list.
Better than anything glock has ever put out. I've owned many glocks and shot a lot of pistols. Love my xdm elite osp. You got a great deal.

@@gutadin5 craftsmanship, features, feel, capacity, trigger feel and quality, sights, barrel quality and accuracy. It beats glock in every way. And I love glocks.
I'm surprised that you've owned so many Glocks, yet you miss the point of the Glock platform. Simplicity and reliability. Not to mention the fact that ALL these other companies HAD to come up with a polymer framed striker fired pistol to even compete with Glock because they were dominating the handgun market.

Several things. For accuracy and reliability you can’t beat Glock strait out of the box. Period ! Many now are just as accurate and reliable. Glock is the only gun I ever scored 100 on the fbi course. Not even with my P226 could I best any of the 9mm Glocks. So myth one gone. Now I only presently own 4 hand guns. I’m 61 and have owned all top brands and have shot LE and competitively ! I own 3 H&K and 1 XDm .40 stainless over OD Green. I think, no. I know the XDm is the best Built hand gun I own and accuracy and reliability I have yet to see any difference. P30L P2000 and P2000sk !
I own this pistol. It's Made in Croatia by HS Produkt. Stamped with a Springfield label. One my favorites for sure.
I have a few XD 9mm pistols and love them. It would also be desirable for me to get a few XDME pistols. However, it has a polymer trigger. Do you see that as a potential problem? And, does it have a steel guide rod? And, which mags work best in it, the 19, the 20 or the 22 round XDM mags? Which one do you prefer, and, why?
I have the xdm elite 5.25 9mm. Love how it feels in my hand. Shoots smooth. It holds 21 but carry it with 12. It's makes it lighter.

I have the 4.5" XDM Elite as well. It's definitely the most accurate polymer pistol I own. One thing I really like is that it seems like it has a rugged , durable build especially when it's disassembled. The tactical look it has is pretty cool too. Thanks for the video!

Love my XDM Elite 4.5 9m fun to shoot, accurate, fits in my hands well & 20rnd mags 🤙🏽. wish it was dot ready like the OSP version
Purchased a 4.5" XDM Elite today, paid $100 more but it came with a nice range bag and 5 Magazines in the "Gear Up" deal
I got the same deal with the 5 mags and bag.excellent deal. Just wish I could put a holosun on it

Just bought the XD9. Love it
I've put well over 1000 rounds of different 9mm ammo through my 5.25 and haven't had a single malfunction.

I own both Glocks and Springfield Armory. Overall, I like the SA far more.
Just put mine in layaway. After owning many glocks and a few caniks, this might be my favorite as far as grip and comfortable feel. I cannot wait to get it next month and put a few hundred rounds through it.
Best choice I’ve ever did regarding guns, here in Europe it’s sold as HS Produkt SF19. FDE is a nice color choice
These are two I'm considering for a club gun along with the M+P. Tough choice! I carry an M+P as a duty gun so something different would be nice. Here in Australia we are limited to 10 rounds regardless.

A stolen gun is a very serious matter, you could be held responsible for some crime committed by someone else with that gun.

I got the optic ready [sup height sights] w/threaded barrel [5.25"] from academy for 750 around Christmas lol 😅 I've never loved any gun as much out the box. Glock perfection my ass cause aint one part on your glock is stock

i'm hearing all these good things about the xd-m elite series i want the compact and the full size one for conceal carry and one for just shooting at the range. it's a very beautiful gun but people are telling me i don't need to buy the full size i can just buy the compact and buy the magwell to make it a full size gun and i can also buy those 20 round mags to go with the compact so please help me out you think i can buy them both or just get one
If you can buy both. If tight on funds get the 3.8 compact model.

Need to confirm if the Springfield Elite 4.5 can use the 22 magazines from my Springfield Elite 5.25?.. if any body can confirm would be highly appreciated!
Yes they're both the same guns except for barrel length yes your magazines will fit both guns
Had the same Elite for about 8 months now. Paid $505. Very nice gun overall, I really like the trigger and reshaped grip safety. Fits my hand well with the largest back strap.
Compared to Canik and a couple others that were slightly less, the SA felt much better and has really good support in the US.
Was a toss-up between the Springfield and Walther PDP. I shot my friend's Walther and a borrowed Elite for a few mags each. The Walther was hard to find at the time, and a bit more. Also I wanted a 'medium' full size, the SA 4.5" seemed just right, while the Walther 4" and 5" straddled what I wanted. I will buy a 4" PDP at some point as it was a great shooting and handling gun.
7/1/24 just picked a 4.5 up for 428.00 tax and all
Great pistol......until you run a tac light and need a holster. Good luck at that point. Haven't found a single manufacturer that offers a holster for the 4.5" threaded barrel with a tac light. Somehow it's a "duty" weapon that can't be holstered. Odd. It's sad because it is EASILY my favorite pistol to shoot. Incredibly smooth. Everyone who has had a chance to shoot it remarks the same way about it being so dang good. No one believes me when I say it's a factory trigger. Just wish I had an option to carry with a tac light.

Stuff like that makes me glad that I took the time to learn how to do leather work.
Good review.....however, you missed to make the pistol secure and safe. Also, you did not do a field strip of the pistol to show the insides of it.

Easy to “take a stand” when it’s something that takes no effort from your end. I’m sure when there’s something that you could take a stand for that matters and takes actual effort, your head would stay down along with the other 99 percent.

I have the xdm elite with threaded berrel. Its a big gun compared to some. But feels goid in the hand. Might need to get a talon grip. Not the best grip surface but not bad either. I dont understand the back set of rails on slide being polymer not steel. Whats up with that.
they look nice never had one im not fond of grip safeties but id say you got a deal
