I'm impressed you go the extra mile to explain the process. You are not trying to just sell but you are trying to teach us and answer questions. Excellent job.
Thanks Daniel.
@@BrenspeedEngineering Finally Got the Paxton 2200SL Wow!! She is so much fun!!!
just finished the whole vid, and man, u have no idea how many of my questions have been answered by this.
Awesome thanks for watching!
You guys tuned my 2008 GT/CS with a Saleen Supercharger kit from Breenspeed. It had about 28,000 miles on it, now it has 103,000 miles and still runs like a top, these guys know what they are doing.
Thanks for the comment.
Good video! You build my 06 gt years ago still running strong! Saleen supercharger Detroit rockers long tube headers 4.10 gears. 442 hp 419 torque still a beast!!! Thank you!
Awesome glad to hear it!
Do you have any 1/4 mile times or 0-60 0-100? I’m interested in this specifically!
Stock motor I’m assuming?
Dan Ingle crank I’m guessing?
Are those crank or wheel numbers? And roughly how much did that whole package cost if you don't mind my asking? I would love a similar setup for my 05 GT.
This video makes more since than any other video I’ve watched. Thank you.
Great thanks!
Opened my view and pretty much made my decision concrete. Love watching your videos and seeing what different packages do to the 3valve. Keep the content coming good work!
Thanks for checking it out.
I dont even have a 3v and i love watching your vids. May have to get one as a beater since they sound so damn good. And yes post a vid on that mountaineer
Great to hear. Thanks for watching!
Buy one
Definitely buy one
I bought one
I have a fleet... 07 kenne bell gt500, 14 coyote turbo... daily a Durango srt. 3V are at such a good price right now, I may end up with another...
I love watching your vids. They give me motivation and ideas for what to do with my 3v
Great info Jon, thanks for hanging out and watching.
I bought the Rousch/Brenspeed TVS almost 2 years ago. I already had Detroit Rockers and long tube headers. This kit had excellent detailed instructions. The install was pretty easy. I followed the instructions step by step. The first key hit it started right up, and I have not had to do anything but change the oil. My Mustang had 100,000 miles on the car and 60,000 on the engine. It is very fun to drive. I would recommend this kit to anyone interested.
Great info Bob thanks for watching!
@@BrenspeedEngineering
Stuck around to watch this whole video and this was hugely helpful. I have a 2010 GT with full exhaust and some bolt-ons. I've been looking for ways to get the power up in and your videos are helping a ton in terms of showing me the options available to me. Thanks
Glad it helped!
Watched the whole video! Great information about the limits of the 3v. Helped me tremendously in figuring out the direction I want to go on my 2010.
Glad I could help. Thanks.
I'm late to this video but Brenspeed's tunes are GREAT! You dialed in my Paxton 2200 setup with LT's perfectly. I kid you not, the amount of time you put into these tunes show; from idle, to drivability, to WOT pulls. Never skipped a beat.
Awesome glad you like it!
I have a 2006 that I bought new and I'm always glad to see 3v videos. I've bought most of my parts (especially the tune) from Brenspeed and I always will. :D
Thanks for your support!
Doug helped me outon mine too, put my wife's titties in the back seat when I would launch.
Great video and Q&A. Just bought a used 06 convertable GT automatic with Roush in it, was ordered new this way, has 100K now, it was owned by a woman who kept it in perfect shape and serviced at a Ford Roush dealer in Oregon. I was worried that it might be getting weak. Watching the video made me feel good about the miles, especially since you said if well maintained don't worry. Learning a lot about Mustang builds from Brenspeed... just a side note bought this as a 50th. wedding present for my wife, we were talking about how much we missed my 63' Red split 427 Corvette with side pipes we crusied in during High School. So time for a convertible go fast Mustang happy 50th. she smiles every time she looks at it... Vancouver USA
Love watching brenspeed tv short but very informative videos. You guys are awesome
Kevin thanks for watching.
Hey, just watched your video on super chargers... good informative stuff. You answered most of my questions. I’ll be checking your packages out.. THANKS!👍
Glad it was helpful!
Bren just tuned my 4.6L 3V 2007 GT/CS. Wow. So much better over the Custom Performance (Concord, NC) tune that the previous owner had done in 2008. This thing is soooo much more alive and much more steady to drive. Throttle response has been greatly improved. Idle sounds amazing now. The timing is perfect with the cams! Thank you Brenspeed!!!
Awesome thanks for the update!
Watched till the end, Love this content Brenspeed!! I'll have my 08 Mustang Gt, 5 speed, 4.6 sometime this next month in December an I cant wait!!!
Awesome Max thanks.
Did you get it
Sure did! It's just been wrecked in the front end at 20mph, soon as we can finish my cousins 94 C4 Vette, were gonna start on mine! Cant wait.. :))
Thank you for taking the time to do this. Awesome video
No problem thanks!
You installed a roush 560R supercharger on my 08 a little over a year ago, and I love it!!!!! Great video keep up the good work!
I love the 560R. Thanks!
Great video, yes I watched the full video! Thanks for supporting torque. My question would be when to use/not use a aluminum flywheel.
Really depends what you do with the car. I like aluminum for highway kick downs, I like steel for inertia off the line at the drag strip. BUT, it really depends on weight they are all different.
I always gain a lot of knowledge from your vids man, I'd love to see what a built N/A 3 valve is capable of. Keep em coming
Thanks!
with the way the aftermarket is changing i wouldnt doubt a 3v to hit low 10s or break 9s n/a fully built. especially if it ends up converted to a 6r80 or 10r80
@@LightningFast240 I have a 07 roush stage 3. would I be ok with 10psi .I was thinking putting long tubes too. All I have is a cold air intake ,cat deletes..
@@israelcabrera4358 you'll be fine. Put some good gas in it. Make sure it's got fuel and nice and cool. Should last you even at maybe 12-13psi. Don't get too much crazier after that unless you forged the internals.
@@LightningFast240 thank you!!! I appreciate it...
Watched this video a few times doesn’t get old, fantastic videos excellent work can’t wait to shop with y’all much love from Texas 🤘🏼
Awesome! Thank you!
I watched the whole video. Very glad you do these. I've been thinking about doing this to mine. Thanks for the info see you this summer
See you this summer!!!!
Thank you for the information! You have answered almost all the questions I've had. The only thing different that I'm thinking about doing now is a possible 5.0 coyote swap in my 06 s197
I would definitely like to see a video on "no love"
So would Doug lol. THANKS for watching!
I’ve been helped by this segment and bought another 3v based on all the knowledge I’ve gained from your site. It’s nice
AWESOME!
I watched this and enjoyed every minute. Thank you for your time in making this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great vid, Thanks
I'm at 522 rwhp and 434 tourqe
NICE NUMBERS!
Dan Wallace damn turbo or supercharger and if I wanted 500hp i should be able to have my tuner turn down the torque right
Where your fueling set up
@@Twinturbomach try to use 93 but sometimes 91 with a snows stage 2 water meth kit
Dan Wallace what fuel pump and size injectors?
Good video! Would like to see one on the 11-14 models
OK thanks!
I made it to the end, thanks for the info. I'm hoping to own a 3v mustang in the future and this information really helps👍👍
Great thanks Alex.
Watched the video while I’m sitting in your showroom waiting on completion of my baby , fabulous place here and will be back for further mods plus George has been a great help through this entire process.
Great thanks for the comment and visiting!!!!!
There’s no denying that 3Vs sound sweet! I watched the whole video.
Awesome thank you for watching!
Brenspeed you betcha, thanks for educating us Mustang fans so well! You need to expand with a facility in Canada! 😊
Funny people say 3v sound great now...15 years ago when they came out everyone hated the sound because they didnt (and still dont) sound as good as the older sn and new edge 2v and 4vs. Kind of funny how people think differently these days.
Michael Harris I think the 05-09 GT always sounded great.
Watched the whole video ... awesome info as always - love the John Belushi poster in the background ... and "yes" - we all want to see a video of "no love" - lol
Awesome thanks for sticking around and it looks like NO LOVE needs some coverage.
Subbed to your channel after watching a few videos, it's a different theme than most other car enthusiast channels and I don't mind it's a company plug 💪 your work speaks for itself
Thanks for the sub!
I watched the whole video. I already have a few Brenspeed upgrades on my 07 Roush LC. But MAN do I need that boost! Thanks for all your vids. As a fellow Mustang lover, your vids always make me dream
Any time!
I've had a centrifugal on my 06 for 4 years. About 525 rwhp And I love it. I don't track it so that was the better option. Lots of fun on them streets. Not a single issue.
AWESOME
Stock internals ?
@@EEvil94 yea completely stock. Just the kit.
@@chrisxl5152525 rwhp? Wow that’s great, which centrifugal kit?
Nice vidieo watched it all and would like to see a vid on "no love"
Looks like NO LOVE is getting some votes. Thanks for watching!
This was really helpful. I have an 05 and it was right on track with what I was planning on doing.
Great thank you!
Love the channel finally somebody that knows what they're talking about torque is what moves the car not horsepower!
Thanks Mike.
That explains why despite always hearing "it only goes to 450/500", I've seen turbo kit claims and boosted 3Vs that go way higher in HP. All I got is an 07 V6 right now, but after seeing this, I'm definitely someday adding a GT to boost(or better yet, a 3V-era GT500) in the stable. I was considering a Coyote for some time, but I've been in love with the 3V's nostalgic looks since I saw it as a kid around '05.
Thanks for the comment!
World record is 613.19 whp with on3 turbo kit for 3v
What are you saying? How much torque?
@@raimondhyperburia3855 what do you not understand about world record 3v on stock motor?
@@zeeshankidwai7110 you can put 900 hp on one run, after that change the engine, thats not a problem. Again... How much torque?
Amazing Video to share some knowledge of the 3v potential! Video needs 200k+ views!!! We live in a world where everyone sneezes at the sound of 700 horsepower. In reality a 500 wheel horse car, that weighs 3600lbs and is dialed in is still a solid runner!
Thanks for watching and the comments Walter.
Realistically I know it an old post btw but what kind of numbers should one expect with a 2.3 blowers ideally (550ish with proper pulley and e85)and a decent driver behind the wheel and the proper supporting mods tire headers etc. because I’m thinking coyote swap but if I can compete with low boost new muscle cars
@@smoke_oguwop what exactly are you asking? How fast can she run in the 1/4 on stock internals with full bolt ons and roughly 9-10lbs with a roush 2.3 blower?
@saggin 1 with a dialed in 3v you can easily get them into the mid 11s @117+ down the 1/4. If you go the extra mile with mild weight reduction and some lighter rotating mass components you can have a healthy low 11 second car. Many people got them into the high 10s on stock internals.
Walter Macknight yes, my bad I forgot to actually ask my question lolz
Great info on a 3 valve engine I like the contents you did on all the Mustangs on all the superchargers
Thanks Vincent.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. Super helpful. If you guys can do install videos also that would be freaking awesome. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Rick!
Great video! Being that they use the same connecting rods, would the 450 ft/lbs max torque rule also apply to the 2 valve engine?
Pretty much all of the 2v and 3v engines are limited because they all share the same rods which are...at best...adequate.
I watched to the end, it was very informative. I have a '06 GT that I've always wanted to supercharge and you explained it nicely. Have you heard of Department of Boost? If you have, what do you think about their set-up?
Thanks for watching! I have seen a couple DOB kits way, WAY, back in the day but never really see anybody use them anymore. Back then I did not care for the 3V kit, but maybe now they are different.
Watched the whole video as always! Great one! Finally a cameo from Doug! He actually told me about "no love" on one of my phone calls to you guys. Man I need to get a blower.👍
Thanks for watching Eric!
You can usually find some in downtown Indianapolis on the main drag.
Great video! thanks for all the information. You guys are def going to be my go to for upgrades.
Great to hear!
Would like to see more 2vs builds if you get any
Will try as they come in!
@@BrenspeedEngineering I'm building a full ARP 4.6L with 5.3 liters after bore and stroke, ford 5.0 boss block, stroker kit, and trick flow 195R heads. We're going to bring the little 2v to around 8K, I was wondering if you knew somebody who could spec the cams based on flow #'s

Thanks a million for this vid. I picked up a really nice Vista Blue 2006 GT Mustang last summer. All stock save for a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter and a Magnaflow axle back. This vid has answered many questions because i have a lot planned for the car.

Thx and God Bless!
Thank you for this video so hopefully the comments can stop about how much hp a 3V can handle. I was so tired of reading them after every video you did on a 3V great video. I watched the entire video as always and yes let's see no love
If you are tired of reading them, think about me reading them. Thanks!
I watched the whole video. Thanks for clearing up the HP limit debate. Its acrually TQ. Makes so much sense.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
Excellent video and very informative Brent. Still diggin' the `12 F150 Sleeper from AK, really turns some heads - inside and outside of the beast!!

Thank you very much!
Watched the whole video.. you're welcome. Thanks for all the information. Yes, show us NO LOVE.
I loved the video! I have a 05 stick car with a tvs2300 stage 2 kit. Its fbo running comp127550's I bought from you on the stock motor with 155,000 miles. Im so tired of my coyote buddies telling me that the motors are practically glass and won't hold 500whp. Keep the 3v Videos coming man.
Nice set up!
Extremely well done video. I had a mustang that I so badly wanted to bring to you guys. From IL. Hopefully in a couple years I will be able to bring my stang for a big makeover.
That would be cool!
Great information in the video, waiting to see the video of “no love” now 👍🏼
I will have to make that sometime.
This video was very knowledgeable I always thought it was about your rear wheel horsepower but now I know it's your torque.
Thanks for the comment.
Awesome, thanks for the no BS info. I'll take solid lower numbers on the chart if it means stone axe reliability. I drive a Peterbilt for a living, so I agree, torque is where it's at.
Thanks!
I know it's been a while, but I watched the whole video! It's really fun learning new things about the s197

I've wondered about this concept for some time now. You are the first person I've heard mention it. So I am on the same page.
Great thanks.
Watched till the end! I’m getting ready to buy a car in the next couple of weeks.
Awesome good luck with your new purchase!
Thanks for all the good info. Been out of the game for 25 years but just purchase an 07 3V. This car put me back at home and feels like my last rod a 69 vette. I'm so old school I had points and a carb, when we built engines we actually built them not bolted on to them. A dyno??? if we only had these tools back then. I now have the two most important things to a racer, time and money, which I plan on spending a whole lot of time making some street money. Hope to see you at a red light some day, I'll be the old guy with a grin ear to ear.
Sounds like you are ready to have some fun!
Great info, I watched the entire video. My 06’ GT w/ auto trans has been paid for a very long time, wife no longer drives it since getting her Lexus. I think it’s time for some serious upgrades. I’ll be looking at your turnkey kits. Thanks for the great videos.
