Waiting until release. I have iOS 17 installed but my MacBook is too important for daily use in college that I can’t afford any risks with that device in particular 😅 Great video as always!
I’ve been using it for over a month. It’s OK for daily and work tasks. The last two updates fixed a lot of bugs, but still nothing critical for working software.
I don’t have a Mac laptop
My Mac is absolutely critical to my work, so I’m not risking the betas, although if I had a second machine it would be interesting. I also usually wait a while to install the public release of new major versions, so any major bugs can get patched before I upgrade
No Mac.
The improvements in wallpapers and the fast switching for music and AirPods definitely caught my attention. Aaron's explanation of the changes in settings and widgets was really helpful too. Looking forward to the final release and hoping for even more refinements
The settings need another complete change. Honestly, i prefer the old one. Even though it looked goofy, I was able to find things. In the new settings window, its just not intuitive. Just like iphone settings. Both are terrible. The icons have made it much worse. Even though i hop in there regularly, I'm still always searching for where my things are and everything that used to be 1 click is now 4 clicks. While i'm on the topic, if i open the settings window and begin to type, it should automatically start typing in the search box without me having to click there as well. Instead, currently it goes through the list and directs you to the first letter of the word. Cool. Problem with that is pressing W takes me to wallpaper not Wifi which is right there before it. And pressing W again does not take you to wifi. Also typing WI doesn't either. This is textbook stuff that I expect from linux distros at this point.
Hopefully this year iPadOS 17,macOS Sonoma ,iOS 17 etc all arrive on same day
That won't happen. macOS will come with 17.1
All these fancy animating background and lock screen effects, but multi-screen setups are still a nightmare.

Are widgets only in MacOS Sonoma?? I didn’t even know widgets were a thing on Macs. I have an M1 MacBook Air running Mac OS 13 Ventura and haven’t noticed widgets
Hi Aaron, and many thanks for your quick and precise (almost) daily videos. Yes, I am using the betas almost since day 1 on my Mac Mini M2 pro and MBAir M1. With a few exceptions Sonoma runs very well for a beta version (even at the early stage of beta 1). One question though. One thing that never worked from the beginning is the unlocking with Apple Watch on both machines. Not even after updating to Sonoma beta 6. Do you have any similar comments from your community? Again, I am really enjoying your contributions. Thank you.
It works for me. Go to settings, turn off and then turn on again unlocking with Apple Watch. It worked for me. Kind of resetting.
is the faster airpod switching only for the pro 2s? i only got my pros a year ago so it’d suck to have to update already
I just want Split View to allow splitting windows into quarters. Would be so nice for watching sports.

Also Thumbnails were not displaying on external hard drives and that seems to have been fixed
I love all the moving wallpapers! we just need to be able to customize fonts/colors of clock on the lockscreen, as well as adding a weather wallpaper. I also wish the wallpapers kept moving and didnt freeze when you unlock.
Hey Aaron, I just got done watching your video from today on the new software for the Mac. It looks like it’s gonna be very very good I love for the fact that you can take your background on your screen and turn it into a screensaver. I love that feature I can’t wait till macOS 17 comes out in September. I cannot wait until iOS 17 comes out for the iPad and the phone. I’m looking forward to it. I hope you have a great day. Is there any fix to get the "commands" button to work in Voice Control in Accessibility? I keep getting a settings error.
Is it stable to use?
3:39 it’s so frustrating trying to use audio and/or microphones on multiple devices. I’ll have music playing through pods/iPhone and try to record audio of my guitar using Mac or iPad and it’ll always make one pause. So I’ll have to disconnect from a device 🤦♂️😭
Weird, which recording app are you using on the Mac? Sounds like that app is trying to steal the AirPods route to record from
@@melbowmusic yep they keep fighting. Voice memos usually. They just can’t understand I’m trying to use both devices so I turn off automatic switching or disconnect from one
Battery life is infinite times better than previous betas for me.

Der is an Issue with Stage Manager and the widgets. When I move the widget into the top corner left, the stage manager live previews disappearing. I have to move the widget around 2-3 cm away from the corner and it works.
Safari bug. Place holders for UA-cam videos show up in purple for a second before loading up fully.
I’m seeing to believe with this improve switch automatically. Because it never ever have worked with me with the iPhone and mac.
in previous betas, automatic switching worked fine for me, now in this version it stopped working at all, never switches between my devices (i did reset all my devices) :(
I want to see performance optimization, bug fixes, driver optimization, kernal optimizations, better file manager like Forklift 3/4, and more compatiblity and performance with legacy applications. More specially, my Mac is a Audio and Video workstation. We need a mode for Home Use, Office Use, and Workstation Use with optimizations for each.

Yesterday I installed Sonoma Beta14 23A5328b on my 2019 27" iMac. No problems whatsoever but Time machine crashed. I had to completely wipe the external HDD to get it working again from scratch. This morning that external HDD failed to perform (coincidence ?) so I replaced that also.
24GB RAM can definitely handle Sonoma without any problem. I was wondering how does the base M2 with 8GB RAM performs. Those widgets and live wall papers seem memory consuming.
Does anyone experience flickering issues with M2 iPad pro, 12.9 inch? I had to downgrade to iPadOS 16.6 and the flickering screen is gone.

I had a bug when trying to open a pdf file to Preview from Mail or Finder, while connected to an additional screen, Windows Server will crash if Preview was intended to open in a different screen. At the time of the crash the session will log out. :-( I reported this twice, I couldn’t find that behavior stated as fixed in the resolved issues page.

I have a iPhone 14 Pro, but it has some issues. The issues are poor battery life, overheating, scrolling stuttering screen issues and lags in games issues of my iPhone 14 Pro. Software updates didn’t help and Apple Store employee checked it and said that the phone is ok.
Therefore I want to either buy a 13 Pro from parallel importer store or trade in to the 15 Pro / Pro Max.
Or maybe wait for the 16 Pro / Pro Max because it’s a S year of the iPhone (since the 13 Pro), so therefore they will be more stable and reliable phones with better battery life.
What do you recommend to do?
Why don't you clean reinstall iOS? And remember to skip the restore and start as new

@@satxrnhimself I mean downloading the IPSW file and flashing it onto the iPhone using a Mac/PC.
Anyways I’ve heard the 14 models overheat more than usual so the CPU slows down and you experience lags.
@@EnTiS1000 Yeah I unbderstood it, but is it safe getting a 13 Pro from a patellar importer? because the warranty type is 12 months from a parallel importer store and not an Apple Authorized Warranty. The price is ok and it's better getting it over searching in eBay, because the 13 pro is not available anymore in Authorized Apple Resellers Stores. What do you think?

Can anyone open, files in order like in a finder (select all files, and cmd + down arrow). I mean 1 File.pages, 2 File.pages, 3 File.pages, ... 10 File.pages? Can't open in order, preview with selection of files - left, right is in right order.
