    • @johnwhite9825
      @johnwhite9825 3 роки тому

      Jerry Evans, there is no way they are 'the greatest band of all time'. Why do Led Zeppelin fans again and again try to assert this ? Why can't they just say they really like them ? Why do they have to be 'the greatest' ? It is just not true. There are many musicians of very high standing who don't rate them very highly.

    I think I get Robert Plant's point. He'd rather know he's done great in the past and basically finished on a high note, rather than trying to come back and fail. I respect him for not milking it to death. Yeah they could tour off and on for the next 5-10 years playing all the great old tunes, but it seems like he would rather keep creatively expanding into new territory.

    • @phil.d4062

      For the Fans who continue to ask a Led Zeppelin band member if they're going to tour, I am sure they all said No! Jimmy has said many times
      in Interview's, he would not be able to stand for Three hours. I am grateful that I saw them at an earlier age, Jimmy doesn't just play Guitar, he moves, bends backwards, dances while playing from one side to the other, and jumps in the air! 🎸 Enjoy the Videos!

    It is important to remember that age is more significant to Robert than it is to Jimmy and JPJ because he is the singer and frontman. To be that strutting, screaming golden god at his age isn't possible. Age takes the voice doen a few registers and sexuality isn't so pyrotechnic. It's much harder for him to revisit Led Zeppelin than it is for the others. He has to slip into a role whereas the others just play their instruments.

You'd think that for one of the most influential rock bands ever, someone would have come up with some credible questions, I can understand why they have always been wary of the press. And, I take exception to anyone accusing Jimmy of still drugtaking. He's just a nervous, humble but also very gentle man, I met him in 2005, he is who he is.

    IMHO, I believe this show (assuming you bought the box set of the gig), should be their last. A lot of people want to see them "one more time", or what have you. But, the O2 gig is SO damn good, why not just let it go at that. It's been a long time since that gig, especially for guys their age. Robert was full of life in that concert. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. But they did it right with recording the 02 as well as they did, to be their last gig. It is a masterpiece, and they were (of course Jason included) all in the zone with their performance's.

    I can understand why people are upset about not seeing enough of JP Jones because he is part of the band. But, he does not contribute much to the conversation. I will say, yet again, Robert does more of the talking. But, Jimmy has improved quite a lot, good on you! And, I'm pretty impressed how Robert and especially Jimmy have held up. Jimmy Page has an exotic look to him that is quite interesting. I think it also give him a leg-up in the aging process.

    Led Zeppelin....what was it? The biggest, most successful rock band ever. They were three musicians, John Paul Jones, dedicated musician on bass guitar, keyboards and production. Jimmy Page, legendary session guitarist, mystic and real Star. Then John Bonham, I believe he did what he did and left the planet so that Jason could have his drumstool with Zeppelin. So....what was the spark that took Led Zeppelin into the Stratosphere? Two words ROBERT PLANT.

    People going on about Led Zep doing a Tour ? They haven’t toured as Led Zep playing that fast pace of music for nearly 50 years ( It’s 2023 ) . I think they would struggle with the pace of Led Zep music from BITD . Robert Plant still tours but he performs at a much slower pace . I think it was a nice piece of nostalgia at the 02 in 2006 . But it’s 2023 now & they couldn’t handle the pace of a full on Led Zep tour . Page was saying there was a after party the night of The film Premier ,(2012)but non of them went , that was back then a while back .

    Why is this conference focused with Robert and Jimmy on camera, and John Paul Jones is sitting there yet not included hardly at all? Nor is John included in questions, or even in Robert or Jimmy referring to him for his input? John Paul Jones input, and talent is really the heartbeat of the band. I was glad to see the moderator at least included and asked John a question finally at the very end. Other than that, I also want to say how much I enjoyed this conference and the Celebration Day Concert itself. It was truly the most outstanding collaboration of music, playing and singing, I have ever heard. Thank you, Led Zep, for doing this.

    If you think about it they are a bit out of practice when it comes to doing a lot of interviews regularly . Like a touring band would probably do ? Because they haven’t been a touring band of musicians for a good while possibly ?

    Yes I really think now after all these years....when ever I have done a zepplin cover or heard a Zeppelin cover or a cover band....u can go watch how much a master of music ,sound and recording Jimmy Page is an was...now let's talk about his playing...no one could do his guitar playing like he did...he specially got the sound excactly how he wanted it I mean having the reverb echo and all excactly how u want it and or remembering how it was the engineer mite help but Jimmy was all and the greatest player to ....stop on that note ....and he wrote an created the music in a unique style...mastery....of....I can't remember hearing a cover band really nail Jimmy's guitar... except for stairway....and that's a slow song and fairly easier to do on guitar some of why it got so over played....a great song....I don't like it personally it's too slow... hahaha hahaha really

    Oh man that was hilarious.. John Paul Jones...oh my....I guess they slowed down a little since back in the day....he was serious....I can say I guess they can enjoy relaxing more now... because they basically went viral before going viral existed in 1969...put a band together in played a US tour sold a billion albums all in six months
