Many fishermen look forward to those certain times of the year when the fish they like to catch show up in big numbers. And that's what's happening here at the pier in Keauhou on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
Fishing from piers is a big time activity for these anglers. It's hard to keep up with these guys. They've been doing it for years and their experience shows!
The Big-eye Scad (Akule) they are catching are meal time favorites here in the islands. So when those fish decide to return annually to this shoreline, so do the hungry fishers.
