Another video told me that you can hear the exhaust better. And the ticking of the fuel injection(?) wasn’t loud. I also, haven’t watch HPOs yet so he might mention that
When you changed it did you have a build # already? I want to change my build also to a convertible but GM accepted my build already so I don’t know if they will let me ?
@@joewilliams341 No I changed it last month they hadn't submitted their 2021 orders officially to GM yet. You should call your dealer and inquire, they'd know best.
Absolutely worth it. It looks so much better than the Coupe whether the top is up or down. I also like the idea of not having to keep the engine clean. I changed my order to HTC when they didn't get my 2020 built.
So I just got my HTC a couple weeks ago. Coming from a C7 coupe there are three things that i love about my HTC 1. With HTC I can make a 10 min run into town with top down and just push a button to close it before I run into a store... so as not to worry about some A-hole that would throw a can of soda or something into my car. Sure I could put my coupe top back on but it’s a pain for such a short trip. 2. If you are traveling with with luggage etc on a vacation. Taking the targa top off and putting it in the trunk likely won’t be an option as you will have luggage etc in it. 3. I love how you can drive with the HTC closed... yet have the rear window open. Giving you a slight amount of air movement in the car but better than that you can hear the exhaust so well!!
@@gilfolsom5980 ok. Got up to 38 degree today so I took it for a drive with the top down! Side windows up with the back window down... 60-80 mph I can’t notice any buffeting noise. The key to its success in this is the back window being able to be lowered. I’d say its quieter than my c7 with the targa top off. Just like corvette has done with everything else on the C8... the convertible is dialed in.
Thanks for checking out the wind issue in the cold and at speed! Sounds very reassuring! Yesterday I got to test drive a c8 coupe for my very first time, it probably was in the low 40’s. Took the targa top off and we got a lot of wind and noise starting at about 55 mph and it got progressively worse from there, and pretty awful after 60 mph. However, my point of reference comes from my Audi S5 convertible with the windscreen in place. Virtually little to no wind issues with it either. Was hoping the C8 HTC would be good also. Sounds like that is indeed the case!
I’ve owned 8 corvettes I still own 4. I’ve never been a big convertible fan but my C8 HTC Z51 car is awesome. You have the best of both worlds with the HTC. It’s definitely worth the $7500 option. Personally I think the HTC looks better than the coup too. One thing people miss is you can put the back window down separately. The coup can’t do this. I will drive mine with the side windows up and the back window down which allows you to hear the exhaust better.
I kept my 2009 C6 Coupe Z51 with the Smoked Transparent Top. Only 7,200 miles on it. Initially when looking to order a 2022 C8, I went with an Elkhart Lake Blue Z51 Coupe, in order to save the $7,500. But, as time moved on, I made a lot of changes to the build. I’m fighting a serious illness and this could be my last Corvette. So I worked 33 years at my job and since you can’t take it with you, I decided to get the Convertible after all. I never minded taking the Targa Top off the C6, but admit I didn’t do it as often as I could. I do like the convenience of the convertible top. It is so much easier to use. The C6 has a lot more storage area and the C8 Coupe or Convertible is about the same for each model, so it didn’t really matter from which model I had to choose. I definitely like the C8 Convertible!!! So except for Carbon Fiber, I loaded the C8 HTC up pretty good.

I like the convertible and I'm not a convertible guy. It's got a great look. I'm curious if the injector noise will be completely muffled due to the engine being buried.
Remember the convertible doesn’t lose any cargo space and still has full function with the top being able to go up and down. That is a huge advantage over the coupe because once you put the target top in the back trunk, that space is gone. The New convertible is a marvel of engineering and is totally next level in looks and sexiness over the coupe.
I just really think the convertible is the way to go. You don't have to sacrifice your trunk space when you have the top off. I have a C5 with the removable top and it often takes up most of my trunk. Also if I gonna store I have to put the top back on. Therefore this hard top convertible is the perfect solution in my opinion

Just got the VIN today for my TR 3 LT/HTC...just in time for winter. Oh well, still going to enjoy whatever road time I can get. Great video comparison. I originally was going coupe but changed to HTC at the last minute just because I wanted to go all out on my first sportscar.
I have a LB Red with a clear top option which I love and glad I got over the convertible. And for me, seeing the engine and the cool engine vents running down the side of the glass back is awesome. Only benefit of the HTC is washing the car, the water does not go in the engine bay. I use towels to cover the vents when I wash it so no big deal
Hey guys It was not mentioned that if you are driving or in stop and go traffic in a state like Florida with sometimes intermittent and unpredictable rain showers, it's an advantage to have a convertible for at a click of a button you can bring the top up more quickly without having to pull over, stop, or get out of car. With Targa top off you have to get out or pull the car over and nerves run higher at shower paranoia. Not so much in a quick auto convertible. Big advantage convertible! Also for those geriatric drivers or those feeling an onset of arthritis coming on strong, even say an injury. It may be difficult next to impossible to put top on. Could drop or damage a beautiful CF. Top as well. Not with a convertible. Something to consider. Handicap friendly 😆
Yes, for 3 reasons: 1. Only about 15% of the new C8s are convertibles, so you stand out 2. You hear the V8 better than ever 3. You lose no trunk space, so the downside is almost nil (You can no longer see the engine)
The convertible with black top looks more exotic than the coupe to me. Driving it with the top up and back window down does let you hear the engine better. Biggest advantage is if you take any weekend trips you can put two carry on bags in the trunk with the top down. As I was putting the top down yesterday two little kids asked me if I was Batman, lol.

I already spoke to them and I’m getting Black on Black with yellow stitching yellow calipers and yellow seatbelts. I’m getting Stealth PPF and clear PPF on Ground effects, Boomarang and Wing. GM just accepted my build for the 2021 C8 but now after watching this I wish I got the convertible . I wonder if I call them if they will let me change it or would that hold up my build even if they did ? I didn’t like the C7 convertibles so I didn’t even think about it for the C8 but this is a lot better. The convertible just looks amazing!
The C7 convertible was definitely no where near as cool or good looking as the C8 convertible. I'm not a convertible guy but this is the closest I've ever gotten to saying "I like it" with a convertible car. You probably could still change it if you haven't reached a 3000 status.
There is a difference between GM accepting your order and moving to 3000 status. You probably can still make changes. If your dealer knows his stuff...contact him.
Going to be tough taking the perfect chair(s) to a car show. Probably need to have the ones that collapse and fit in a bag like a golf bag. Looking at the size of golf bag the PGA Pros use, I doubt two of those are going to fit! I see this is from about a year ago since the comments and you (Justin) still had the C8. Still a great review, I enjoyed it thoroughly. It came up as a suggestion from UA-cam. Glad it did! Thank you for making this comparison video. I am not a convertible guy either, but after seeing it with the roof down, the twin humps (buttresses) behind the seats just look much better than than the long rearview window on the base model. They make the car look more exotic and more like a supercar. I wish Chevrolet would put those twin humps on the base model.
The wind noise on the coupe with the top off is terrible above 45/50 mph. Also taking the tops off manually is a real pain, you will get sick of it very quicky
you also loose that trunk space...plus its a pain in the ass when night comes and it gets cool quickly and you want to switch over while it is night time
The Vert nacelles or buttresses are identical to the 458 or 488 Ferrari's, look at Magnum PI you will see it. It also has the same rear window that goes halfway down.
Just a thought. You may loose some space in the truck with the convertible, but how much storage would you loose when both tops are down and stowed away.
According to automobilemag.com the coupe and convertible have the same cubic feet of space. I have a HTC c8 and guess the convertible mechanism stopped working so I had to take it to the dealership. One of the things COUPE c8 will never have to deal with are these components that can go bad, or malfunction and what if you’re about to go to the store and now you’re stuck with the top down and mechanism not responding, I mean I rather do it manually that way I know it will never go bad
You should have taken the top off the coupe. Another downside to the convertible is repair costs (we will not know how long the pulleys last for a while). However, the convertible is very sleek with awesome lines. Great color combination orange exterior/two tone black/grey seat selection is one of the best.
That I should have done. I'm making a list of things to do next time I get time with the convertible. Repair costs are definitely going to be higher for a number of reasons.

This is one of occasions you realize the convertible option is expensive and there’s too many moving parts but you throw caution to the wind and hope nothing goes wrong. If your payments are $1,000.00 a month then the convertible option adds another eight months of payments.
Seems like the convertible would get less water into the engine bay with its vents vs all the open vents on the coupe. I like the way the convertible rear end is designed with that straight down window.
Convertibles became an option around the beginning of January. I placed my order January 14th. Never considered the Coupe once I seen the picture of the HTC. Received a call from my dealership today telling me my 21 was selected for the first cycle. However, a bit of disappointment - Luminated sills are "not" available because of a supplier issue.
Justin, another great video! You bring up some great points but one I want to hit on. Although the rear trunk is ever slightly smaller then the coupe i look at it from a different point of view... with the coupe if you take the top off you lost most of your storage in the rear trunk because you've got the roof panel stored there. Meaning on a long road trip your not taking the top off until you unload the your baggage. Now the HTC on the other hand you don't have to chose between storage or top off. You can full pack the car and drop the HTC at will. So in the end with the HTC you gain more open air and a slightly different look up close but lose the visual of the engine bay. Now that it's confirmed by sightings that the Z06 will also come as a HTC.... The decision for me just got a bit harder...... I guess there's really no bad decision when it comes to the Z06!!!!
I need to add that the coop has a bigger blind spot when looking out the passenger side rear corner panel. BHTC is enclosed while the coop view is the hood piston and the ugly part of the engine bay
A small item Justin, but I like the way you demonstrated/filmed the transition of the rear-view mirror from camera mode to normal. I don't think anyone has done that. Can the rear glass in the HTC be lowered independently while not having the roof down? Save The Wave👋
with the coupe...You don't get the holy Wow factor, at a stop light, when you "Drop the Top"... lol... and that saves on rear tire wear, because doing a burn out isn't necessary... lol
Nice Spec! I love the hard top convertible but with the Corvette already coming with the targa top I will have to say no. Mainly because it hides the engne.I agree with the guy talking about proportions being better on the convertible though for sure. Also love the blackened roof on the Sebring Orange. Here’s why the difference is actually LESS than the $7,500....IF you are going for above a1LT (which most will): The HTC (Hard Top Convertible) is $7,500 more than the coupe at base (1LT) level....BUT, you get the rear view camera as part of that $7,500. If you were to get a 2LT HTC instead of a 2LT Coupe, the difference is $7,000. Now, assuming you planned on the Coupe, chances are you would have also spent at least another $500 or more dressing up that engine compartment, right? With no engine compartment visible with the HTC, you don’t need that bling, AND you don’t have to fuss with keeping the engine compartment spotless. Bottom line: the actual cost difference of the HTC over the coupe is really $6,500 or less, not $7,500. The ohh ahhh you’ll get from the HTC in “Transformer” mode on the street are probably going to be more than those looking at your motor at the gas station. PLUS, if you are on a road trip with the Mrs, with both trunks full, you can lower the top on the HTC, whereas there’s no place to store the lid with a coupe. The $6,500 is a no-brainer, and one reason why the HTC has a much higher percentage of the production line with the C8. Amazing engineering.
Cargo space in the HTC is roughly twice as large as the coupe when tops are down. For my usage profile, this is the big win trade-off of the HTC over the coupe. Also, driving with the rear window down sounds awesome in the HTC (see ua-cam.com/video/X1ol5PuZNZ0/v-deo.html)

I would pick the coupe all the way, better engine ventilation, looking at the engine is cool, the mechanism on the HTC convertible will eventually fail or jam. The coupe at least you can remove the top when you wish.
Good video. However your trunk space comparison fails to consider that you still have a full trunk space with top down on convertible whereas you loose it entirely on the Coupe. So when traveling with luggage you have no roof off option on the Coupe.
You mention the HTC rear trunk being “smaller” than the coupe’s, when the actual difference is minuscule, while you don’t even mention the fact that with tops down on each car, the HTC still has both trunks fully usable, while the coupe trunk is taken up with the removable top.
I am YTer too. I have had videos come out right after others too. I am more careful now, if possible. But sometimes it doesnt matter bc you might have little unique info from others... Good luck.
Nice comparison, it would had been interesting though to hear some opinions about the wind noise difference when the top is down. The HTC is more open, does it make it louder and what difference does it make to put the rear window up or down on the move? Personally I like the HTC more, the looks, the larger opening on top, the rear window, the trunk usability when the top is down and obviously the ability to put it up or down on the move.
Htc with top down/all windows up=conversation very satisfactory-I would argue quieter than my c7 with removable hardtop(even with sound deadening mats added)
The rear view camera stays a camera but is in between the rear bonnet and the engine bladder that hides the engine and it is dark in there. The HTC is about 60 lbs heavier then the coupe! Upside down I would rather have the coupe halo then the Nasals to support an inverted C8!
But what you also have to consider, is the cargo space with the top off. Top down on the convertible, you still have the trunk. Top down for the targa, you don’t have a trunk anymore.
You mention the convertible having the rear camera is a way you can tell the Convertible is a 2LT. That isn't really true. The 1LT convertibles also have the rear view mirror camera standard. It is not on the 1LT coupe though.
Having had a coupe when you take the top off the back acts like a parachute creating a lot of noise & turbulence.not fun over 45 mph.i had a tinted top that never came off after the first week.
Can you please try and show how much open space you get between the coupe snd convertible. Was curious to possibly see a comparison top wise. Meaning when the targa top is removed and the convertible top is down

HTC looks way more exotic without that goofy looking wing. that helps on track but slows car down Actually Josh you are wrong as HTC trunk will hold about 2 cups of liquid morw but laid out different so really exactly the same per gm. On your long trip I bet you were not able to take off the top cruisin in Florida with all of your pillows. lol The HTC has about 2 inches more headroom and much better rear vison and the rear camera is standard even on a 1lt. You also missed the roll down rear window which is a great option for many reasons. When you take the targa top off you will get some buffering noise and none on the htc. Thank you for doing all the great videos but you might of fallen a little short on this one as for even for 20k I would buy the HTC
Great comparison but you left out two issues. The reasons I decided on the convertible over the coupe are, although being able to see the engine in the back on the coupe is way cool, I thought having to dry out the engine bay every time I wash the car would be a real pain in the ass. Plus, with the removable roof stowed, the rear trunk's volume is cut in half. Your thoughts.
I'm able to dry out the engine bay with some forced air. I use a master blaster but an air compressor would be just as functional so it's a non-issue in my opinion. The convertible top does however take up less space when the top is off.

I like convertible but not the soft top once i heard the hardtop is on the C8 i was gonna order one but realize u cant see the engine and tbh call me corny but i want yo see the engine so thats one of the reasons i went with the coupe besides i can always remove the targa top and i rarely drive with the top down plus less mechanical parts lighter etc so dont get me wrong i like the hard top but personally i want to see the engine so i went with the targa top

GM just accepted my build for the 2021 C8 but now after watching this I wish I got the convertible . I wonder if I call them if they will let me change it or would that hold up my build even if they did ? I didn’t like the C7 convertibles so I didn’t even think about it for the C8 but this is a lot better. The convertible just looks amazing!
The C7 convertible was definitely no where near as cool or good looking as the C8 convertible. I'm not a convertible guy but this is the closest I've ever gotten to saying "I like it" with a convertible car. You probably could still change it if you haven't reached a 3000 status.
There is a difference between GM accepting your order and moving to 3000 status. You probably can still make changes. If your dealer knows his stuff...contact him.
I had that rear view mirror camera in my 2019 High country. Fully loaded trim, came with this camera. It’s actually clean.
Going to be tough taking the perfect chair(s) to a car show. Probably need to have the ones that collapse and fit in a bag like a golf bag. Looking at the size of golf bag the PGA Pros use, I doubt two of those are going to fit!

Thank you for making this comparison video. I am not a convertible guy either, but after seeing it with the roof down, the twin humps (buttresses) behind the seats just look much better than than the long rearview window on the base model. They make the car look more exotic and more like a supercar. I wish Chevrolet would put those twin humps on the base model.
I’m not a convertible type guy so it’s not worth the extra cost....to me. I must admit though, for a convertible it does look good

The wind noise on the coupe with the top off is terrible above 45/50 mph. Also taking the tops off manually is a real pain, you will get sick of it very quicky
you also loose that trunk space...plus its a pain in the ass when night comes and it gets cool quickly and you want to switch over while it is night time
The Vert nacelles or buttresses are identical to the 458 or 488 Ferrari's, look at Magnum PI you will see it. It also has the same rear window that goes halfway down.

Just a thought. You may loose some space in the truck with the convertible, but how much storage would you loose when both tops are down and stowed away.
That's exactly right. You definitely lose less space in the convertible when the tops are both off.
According to automobilemag.com the coupe and convertible have the same cubic feet of space. I know it I bought a HTC people would ask to see the engine. Heck I've even had people look in the hatch of my C-7 looking for an engine.

I have a HTC c8 and guess the convertible mechanism stopped working so I had to take it to the dealership. One of the things COUPE c8 will never have to deal with are these components that can go bad, or malfunction and what if you’re about to go to the store and now you’re stuck with the top down and mechanism not responding, I mean I rather do it manually that way I know it will never go bad
You should have taken the top off the coupe. Another downside to the convertible is repair costs (we will not know how long the pulleys last for a while). However, the convertible is very sleek with awesome lines. Great color combination orange exterior/two tone black/grey seat selection is one of the best.
That I should have done. I'm making a list of things to do next time I get time with the convertible. Repair costs are definitely going to be higher for a number of reasons.

This is one of occasions you realize the convertible option is expensive and there’s too many moving parts but you throw caution to the wind and hope nothing goes wrong. If your payments are $1,000.00 a month then the convertible option adds another eight months of payments.
Seems like the convertible would get less water into the engine bay with its vents vs all the open vents on the coupe. I like the way the convertible rear end is designed with that straight down window.
Convertibles became an option around the beginning of January. I placed my order January 14th. Never considered the Coupe once I seen the picture of the HTC. Received a call from my dealership today telling me my 21 was selected for the first cycle. However, a bit of disappointment - Luminated sills are "not" available because of a supplier issue.
Justin, another great video! You bring up some great points but one I want to hit on. Although the rear trunk is ever slightly smaller then the coupe i look at it from a different point of view... with the coupe if you take the top off you lost most of your storage in the rear trunk because you've got the roof panel stored there. Meaning on a long road trip your not taking the top off until you unload the your baggage. Now the HTC on the other hand you don't have to chose between storage or top off. You can full pack the car and drop the HTC at will.
So in the end with the HTC you gain more open air and a slightly different look up close but lose the visual of the engine bay.
Now that it's confirmed by sightings that the Z06 will also come as a HTC.... The decision for me just got a bit harder...... I guess there's really no bad decision when it comes to the Z06!!!!
I need to add that the coop has a bigger blind spot when looking out the passenger side rear corner panel. BHTC is enclosed while the coop view is the hood piston and the ugly part of the engine bay
A small item Justin, but I like the way you demonstrated/filmed the transition of the rear-view mirror from camera mode to normal. I don't think anyone has done that. Can the rear glass in the HTC be lowered independently while not having the roof down? Save The Wave👋

Nice Spec! I love the hard top convertible but with the Corvette already coming with the targa top I will have to say no. Mainly because it hides the engne.I agree with the guy talking about proportions being better on the convertible though for sure.

Thanks, Jason. I, personally, like the look of the coupe better but for those who desire convertibles, this is the best one I've ever seen. No compromise over the coupe and it still looks great.
Here’s why the difference is actually LESS than the $7,500....IF you are going for above a1LT (which most will):
The HTC (Hard Top Convertible) is $7,500 more than the coupe at base (1LT) level....BUT, you get the rear view camera as part of that $7,500. If you were to get a 2LT HTC instead of a 2LT Coupe, the difference is $7,000. Now, assuming you planned on the Coupe, chances are you would have also spent at least another $500 or more dressing up that engine compartment, right? With no engine compartment visible with the HTC, you don’t need that bling, AND you don’t have to fuss with keeping the engine compartment spotless. Bottom line: the actual cost difference of the HTC over the coupe is really $6,500 or less, not $7,500. The ohh ahhh you’ll get from the HTC in “Transformer” mode on the street are probably going to be more than those looking at your motor at the gas station. PLUS, if you are on a road trip with the Mrs, with both trunks full, you can lower the top on the HTC, whereas there’s no place to store the lid with a coupe. The $6,500 is a no-brainer, and one reason why the HTC has a much higher percentage of the production line with the C8. Amazing engineering.
It's secretly a Transformer. That automatically makes it cool. ;) However, it's too hot here (AZ) in the summer to leave the top down.

Cargo space in the HTC is roughly twice as large as the coupe when tops are down. For my usage profile, this is the big win trade-off of the HTC over the coupe. Also, driving with the rear window down sounds awesome in the HTC (see ua-cam.com/video/X1ol5PuZNZ0/v-deo.html)
The convertible version looks like a much more expensive car, both look amazing though,

You're quite welcome! I would think it would have to run warmer in some aspect, the cooling is not anywhere near as wide open as the coupe is.

I would pick the coupe all the way, better engine ventilation, looking at the engine is cool, the mechanism on the HTC convertible will eventually fail or jam. The coupe at least you can remove the top when you wish.
The coupe is the worse option for luggage. If you want the roof off you completely lose the rear space as that is where you store the panel.
Good video. However your trunk space comparison fails to consider that you still have a full trunk space with top down on convertible whereas you loose it entirely on the Coupe. So when traveling with luggage you have no roof off option on the Coupe.

No I didn't. Somehow that totally slipped my mind but yes you gain a lot of space with the tops both down on the convertible.
With a DCT the transmission won’t let you “push it” unless the battery is up and the neutral button is selected!
You mention the HTC rear trunk being “smaller” than the coupe’s, when the actual difference is minuscule, while you don’t even mention the fact that with tops down on each car, the HTC still has both trunks fully usable, while the coupe trunk is taken up with the removable top.

Nice comparison, it would had been interesting though to hear some opinions about the wind noise difference when the top is down. The HTC is more open, does it make it louder and what difference does it make to put the rear window up or down on the move?
Personally I like the HTC more, the looks, the larger opening on top, the rear window, the trunk usability when the top is down and obviously the ability to put it up or down on the move.

Htc with top down/all windows up=conversation very satisfactory-I would argue quieter than my c7 with removable hardtop(even with sound deadening mats added)
Very informative but one thing is missing you did not remove the top on the coupe to compare both cars with the tops down.
The rear view camera stays a camera but is in between the rear bonnet and the engine bladder that hides the engine and it is dark in there. The HTC is about 60 lbs heavier then the coupe! Upside down I would rather have the coupe halo then the Nasals to support an inverted C8!
Put led lights in with the engine and you would see the engine through the vent in rear bonnet!
But what you also have to consider, is the cargo space with the top off.
Top down on the convertible, you still have the trunk.
Top down for the targa, you don’t have a trunk anymore.
And it’s 30mph!! As long as you aren’t last 30 it’ll operate moving.
And it closes/opens in 16 seconds I think

You mention the convertible having the rear camera is a way you can tell the Convertible is a 2LT. That isn't really true. The 1LT convertibles also have the rear view mirror camera standard. It is not on the 1LT coupe though.

Having had a coupe when you take the top off the back acts like a parachute creating a lot of noise & turbulence.not fun over 45 mph.i had a tinted top that never came off after the first week.

HTC looks way more exotic without that goofy looking wing. that helps on track but slows car down Actually Josh you are wrong as HTC trunk will hold about 2 cups of liquid morw but laid out different so really exactly the same per gm. On your long trip I bet you were not able to take off the top cruisin in Florida with all of your pillows. lol The HTC has about 2 inches more headroom and much better rear vison and the rear camera is standard even on a 1lt. You also missed the roll down rear window which is a great option for many reasons. When you take the targa top off you will get some buffering noise and none on the htc. Thank you for doing all the great videos but you might of fallen a little short on this one as for even for 20k I would buy the HTC

Great comparison but you left out two issues. The reasons I decided on the convertible over the coupe are, although being able to see the engine in the back on the coupe is way cool, I thought having to dry out the engine bay every time I wash the car would be a real pain in the ass. Plus, with the removable roof stowed, the rear trunk's volume is cut in half. Your thoughts.
I'm able to dry out the engine bay with some forced air. I use a master blaster but an air compressor would be just as functional so it's a non-issue in my opinion. The convertible top does however take up less space when the top is off.
Thank you! One more plus for the convertible. After having to deal with latches and lugging on the C6 and 7, I find myself enjoying a heck of a lot more open air driving with a mere push of a button. Thanks again.

I like convertible but not the soft top once i heard the hardtop is on the C8 i was gonna order one but realize u cant see the engine and tbh call me corny but i want yo see the engine so thats one of the reasons i went with the coupe besides i can always remove the targa top and i rarely drive with the top down plus less mechanical parts lighter etc so dont get me wrong i like the hard top but personally i want to see the engine so i went with the targa top
I’d go HTC. I can have the trunk packed and still have the top down. I assume if you take the top off the coupe, you pretty much lose your trunk space. Am I wrong?
