Hi Robin. Glad you liked the video. I worked out all the demonstration for the crosses, then I made the card so I could repeat then. I kinda used the 1/3 rules of taking pictures. just make them where it looks good to you.

I see a post 2 years old regarding the ceramic bbq block. However, no reults anywhere without buying the whole carton just for one or two pieces of ceramic. Any help out there ????

Hi there, thanks for sharing this helpful video, i heard you use the #5 city slim nails, a nearby store has 4.5 slim blade, 5 city head, 5 slim blade & 6 city head horsenails, none exactly as yours, so could you tell me which of these 4 types will work, also what is the over-all length of the nails, is it about (2")? Please reply back, i'd really appreciate it. THANKS.

Melody, all will work. I've used # 4.5 to 6. I used a 5 in the video. All looks good to me. Try different sizes see what you like

Question, I have tried different flux, solders, silver solder, dry with no flux and I can't get the nails to fuse. I'm using the same brand nails and I have the same mini torch you have in the videos. any suggestions?

Willie, I have searched high and low for that ceramic tile, can you tell me either what you got it out of or where you got it from please.

The ceramic tile you will probably not be able it find. The next best thing would be to go to ebay. I have seen jeweler solder block. If the solder block is not big enough. centeralforge.com fire brick.

Sounds to me like you need a little more heat. Are you using flux
      ?

  • @willienpm

If you don't live in the USA , I have no idea.

Rusty I'm guessing you are using to much heat.
