Who do you buy your horseshoe nails from?
Qu'utilisez vous comme flux ? Avant de mettre l'étain ?? Cdt.merci.
Nice videos man,i hope you're alright
Bonjour, qu'utilisez vous pour les souder entre-eux ? Cdt.
Hi i was wondering if you could help with solve my issue with soldering. I got some horseshoe nails same ones you showed in this video but i cant get them to solder together. Ive tried using my easy silver solder and also my 60/40 electrics solder but neither of them would flow together with the horseshoe nails. Any advice??
Do you have a video where your vice is pictured? Or would you share a pic of the apparatus you use to hold the jump rings in place for soldering?
Bought my horseshoe nails from a ferrier store $7.50 for 250 nails.
I understand everything except what type of rings for the chain. Great educational video thank you. Just trying figure out where to buy or make the rings.
Perfect just what I needed to make crosses for necklaces. Thank y'all!!!
You should pan back so we can see what your doing
What kind of solder are you using?
Love your art I’m gonna try this. Thank you very much.
What dremol bit are you using here?
What size solder is that?
love the videos, but I cant get the nails to solder!!
What a beautiful life you must live, hate to admit it but I'm jealous.
Your nails look much softer than mine - I have probs bending the end of the nail to make a bail. Do you need to warm the metal first? Love the finished article - so prett
Please tell me and the UA-cam world what we’re watching here! I’ve enjoyed several of your videos, but this one has me stumped!
I can't say with 100% certainty, but appears to be a spoon mounted to a scroll saw being used to hammer form the edge of a coin to widen and flare it out with the end goal of possibly making it into a ring?
These nail cross have deep symbolistic meaning
What type of solder do you use.
????????
i tried soldering these and the solder wont stick
What kind of vice is that
It came from Harbor Freight and is a very good little vise! $20, but the bad part is they’re discontinuing it and it’s no longer available online! If you can find a store that still has them, that’s your best bet, and their website enables you to search stores. Lee Valley Tools sells the exact same vise, it’s even blue(!), and goes for nearly $60! Personal opinion: It’s well worth $60!!
Would have been great if you show all , the complete construction
Where can you get the pliers?
my solder just balls up and rolls off, it doesn't flow like that. What am I doing wrong. I am using flux and in some cases acid core solder wire.
John it hard to diagnose without seeing. Best guess, you’re material needs to be cleaner. For soldering, material needs to be shiny.
Hi there, thanks for sharing this helpful video, i heard you use the #5 city slim nails, a nearby store has 4.5 slim blade, 5 city head, 5 slim blade & 6 city head horsenails, none exactly as yours, so could you tell me which of these 4 types will work, also what is the over-all length of the nails, is it about (2")? Please reply back, i'd really appreciate it. THANKS.
Melody, all will work. I've used # 4.5 to 6. I used a 5 in the video. All looks good to me. Try different sizes see what you like
I looking for a dapple set but nothing comes up in that name
John I looked in the comments. The set is now called, doming.
Hi willie, are you still making the horse nail hearts?
John I haven’t been making anything lately. I do need to make more Jesus fish. I have given away and sold all I have.
Horse hoof very strong aura energy
How to make bullet ?
Great video. What size of nails do you use?
What is this tool called?
He put the bullet in a drill and turned on the drill to spin ti. He used a dremel tool to cut it
What size nails do you use ?
What kind and where did you get your round pliers you modified?
This is a pair I found in an old box. I got a lot of questions. I also used a pair of needle nose vice grip, they work well.
Thanks for your words of wisdom, I do have a problem I put the heat to the nail and it will booble up and will not stick, what am doing wrong?
Sounds like you are using to much heat.
Did you put flux 1st?
Fyi, at harbor freight the dapping set shown in the video is now called a Doming block and punch set
What type of solder do you use for this
Very nice video you got there buddy thank you for showing us
Woo, great demo - I have both those tools! (I was despairing not having a lathe)
I was wondering if you sell them
Very cool video. Thank you for subscribing to my channel. Blessings, George, aka, The Shade Tree Fix-it Man
I was curious how much you charge a piece or if you run a special on like say you by 5 or something shoot me a text on my cell phone if you like 320-420-3760
Did you cut grooves for the Horseshoe Nails on your channel locks so that they don't slip cuz I'm having a hell of a time
Linda Shields yes I did Linda. If you look at the tools in the video you can see them.
I'm having the slipping problem with mine, then my solder won't hold I even tried acid core.
Hi Willie, are you using tin for the welding? and what kind of flux? Thank you!
Is it hard to turn it on and I wonder if you can heat the item on s surface
It’s not hard to turn on, it does have a safety switch you have to hold if you want it to stay burning. The amount of heat depends on how long you hold the flame on what you want to heat.
Where dud you purchase your torch and what type us it
Bobbie Brian . I purchased mine at Lowe’s. I’ve seen them at many other stores.
hey willie sell me a pair of the pliers you make to bend nails into hearts
Where you get the flux?
Nice work. Do you think silver solder would work better?
