i just imagined my entire life here jesus

I wanna live here soo bad. I live in a Singapore apartment and it costs $1.7 Million and it is a lot smaller than this...
Yeah. I’m OUT!!!
Dual citizenship me please 🙌🏾💰
You're too funny (but I literally did the same hahaha)
@@doraemonzu8773 same holy fuck. you even have to be married if u wanna get a hdb before 35
Just FYI the reason that there’s so much storage space in the ‘bedroom’ area is cause traditionally Koreans sleep on the floor so they have a bunch of mats/blankets/bedding/pillows that they use to sleep on and they usually store that in those storage spaces I believe. Not to mention the extra bedding they have for friends/family when they visit.
Ooh, I bet they also hang their bedding on that loft railing, at least sometimes, to give it a good airing. Or if they wash their bedding they can hang it up there to dry as well.
plus they usually all sleep together kids sleep w parents til like 10yrs old
“Busan, South Korea”
*Train to Busan intensifies*
im (probably not) willing to go through all the zombies for this apartment dear looorrrdddd
Busan was not a safe place , it was shown in train to busan 2
@@DAISYYY18 There is a second movie?!
@@drawbootiful8665 yes there is, but it is not related to the season 1 character this time but in the first part it says that"people thought that a part of korea was safe but it wasn't true"

$500 for a wholeass spacious 2 people person flat, but the deposits in korea are crazyyyy
skzboyztrash you’ve gotta be joking
@@Yukonemily So it's possible to find that kind of apartment? You need only to have a huge deposit? I will be grateful for your inside.
I heard if anything the deposits are refundable ? someone confirm!
@@xdplpv3030 Yes deposit is fully refund time you move out.
@@grow1820 does that mean you get back a certain amount of money that your deposit was when you move out?
I love how your apartment is flooded by natural light.
My house could never👽🤣
For everyone commenting how cheap Korean living is: it's not. Apartments like this usually have deposits upwards of $100,000 and that's what allows for $400, $500 monthly rent.
Source: I live in Korea
edit:: guys !! hi !! hello!! please reread my comment!! I did not say HER APARTMENT SPECIFICALLY, I said apartments like hers!! read "Apartments like this usually have [...]" !!!!!!!
and idk why y'all arguing me when *I LIVE IN KOREA* omg do a quick real estate search and you can find exactly what I'm talking about I'm not making these numbers up!!! I'm done replying
^ This.
Ur telling me she paid $100,000 at ONCE to live there....
EDIT: Are you using USD? Sorry I just have a really hard time thinking a security deposit could be so damn large
SECOND AND LAST EDIT: I just finished the video, you made a typo. She said it’s about $5,000-$10,000 NOT $100,000.
@@chaeyoungsbestie414 I watched her whole video, and if you read my comment I didn't say that she specifically paid $100,000, I said that apartments *like this* usually have deposits as such. This is a general statement to the people saying "Korean living is cheap."
well not in busan, that is where she lives. She also mentioned deposit on the video. It is cheap, since you get that deposit back when you move out.
@@chaeyoungsbestie414you need to remember she lives far from seoul.(it take around 4hours by car from Busan where she lives now).
That is why deposit is not expensive. The closer you live to seoul, deposit can be 100k $.(of course, need to pay at once.)
Korea: *cheap apartment*
Toronto: *disgustingly specific land laws and some of the most expensive property ever*
@Rob Bob42069, haha, but the deposits in Korea are unbelievable.
Rob Bob42069 it’s the same in Seoul. Overly expensive for a shoe box
not the MOST tho. Singapore is worse
Toronto: Oh you want a bathroom? That’ll be $127489 😋
Nah. This is in Busan. Its kinda cheaper compared to Seoul. You can’t get 500,000 won with that size of apartment in Seoul.
i binge watch korean apartment tours so i can know what type of apartment I want when I do end going to Korea for either a holiday or working!
Ok

Yo I want to furnish this apartment so bad! This is my dream apartment

Same.... as she’s walking around I’m imagining all the things I’d do
so with u i just kept thinkin ahh this area needs this and that
You’re not getting enough use of this beautiful appartement
Such a cute apartment, I definitely had some ideas of what I would do for it. For example, that empty space on the balcony you mentioned, you could put down a rug and get some cute throw pillow and it becomes a reading nook. Or you could get a cute bamboo plant stand from GMarket and make yourself an “indoor garden”, greenery is so good for the soul.
thank you!!!~ ❤️
I was definitely thinking of a reading nook as soon as she she said she didn't know what to do with the space lol
I would make its like a YOGA place! The nature lights right there so perfectly match

High key tho. Like she said her friends come over and chill and drink their. Like that's hella awesome. But imagine being drunk and hanging there😬😬😬

This is totally my dream apartment... I wish the country I live in would even have this apartment style... we sadly dont have any houses with lofts like this :(
Beautiful apartment
Same, here its NOWHERE near how clean and pretty her apartment is...
The space in the bedroom that seems like wasted space had me thinking "That's lush exercising space"
when i clicked this video, i didn't expect to keep thinking "so much space" in almost every area.
Thank you for sharing, it was very fun & interesting to watch. That $5k is actually a good idea, it stops ppl from really damaging a place & having the rent low is great! I like the hot water thingy too is a good idea to save money
yes! makes it so easy to pay rent every month lolol
@@adriennehilll nice apartment drink plenty of water as well
that entire extra loft space would be an awesome chill spot. tons of plants, tons of pillows.... that's what I would do !!
Same!!
And comic books as well
As soon as I saw that empty aisle space in the loft I thought of a garden area. I would totally decorate that into a like zen-garden thing. Would definitely bring some positive vibes
Lol imagine being one of her students seeing their teachers home
Ok the architects have utilized the space so well, I can't get over how perfectly they did that. like the apartment is small but it feels so much bigger, there is so much space and storage like I live with my fam in a normal house and not even we have that much storage. Honestly I want one of these.
Get a tapestry for above the sofa. It’ll fill the space and look super cute
$200 a month for that huge place is a STEAL. So nice, never move out 😭. Even if u pay $540 eventually again that is also amazing
I've said this somewhere else in the comments, but the person living there may only make 650 dollars. If I would buy a apartment like that where I live, I would have to pay twice as much, but I would also make twice as much. The price may be a little, but they may make a little.
Laura Bos exactly😄 some people don’t understand how that works 😐

this is my dream korean apartment (for when I move there)! I’m still deciding on where I want to live. I really wanna be near 강남 or 이태원

Buy something to filter your sink water, a lot a korean homes have it, they either don't drink water from the sink and buy water bottles or they filter it, love your videos 😘
Korean usually don't drink tap water itself but boiled it with some tea and drink
Is korean water not safe to drink?
@@helenemaja0912 koreas tap is safe to drink we just dont like to drink it so we filter it haha
Correct. Koreans enjoy drinking Boricha (보리차) which is barley tea.
When I was in Korea, I loved apartment looking, just to see what other teachers are in living in. Most lived in officetels of various ages. Your place looks more modern. My first place outside Seoul looked like yours. Tall ceiling, loft but kept bet at low level, large window which i hated because it faced south and got the full summer heat and also the neon lights which made my place really bright at night. My second officetel, was smaller in Seoul (more expensive), but great was they kept many public school teachers there so I had about 15 different teachers on various floors to just hang out. My 3rd place I decided to move in with a friend and find an apartment in Itaewon. Those 3 floor old housing. It was old but spacious and cheap. Got 2 big bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms with tubs, a kitchen with real size fridge and oven. It was about $150 over my 500K won allowance but gladly paid for it. Also had only access to the roof which we had several parties, or just sun tan/hang clothes. Things I missed about Korean apartments are the heated floors and having those smart keyless things. What I didnt like was having entire bathroom wet because the shower/toilet/sink area was all connected.
One of the best (if not…the best) apartments that I’ve seen in South Korea. Well done. That extra space could be a dedicated office/work space or beauty area/vanity set up. Thumbs up for you.
"Wasted space"
No no no, it's amazing how much space there is in this apartment. You can use the upstairs space as storage. You can create a big pantry area in that space on the first floor. I WISH I had so much space.
Those railings are definitely not up to U.S. code... so dangerous. You'd never be able to get away with that here.
Yes, that railings caught my eyes and health and safety brain of mine was screaming. No children or vulnerable people should ever live there.
I've always loved Korean apartments and lofts because of how minimally-spacious it is and omg.. your place is my dreammmmmmmmmmmm apartmenttttttttt. I wish there were korean inspired apartments in where I live but there arent any so )):
me, an Asian coming to Canada: "DUh heCc!! They don't wet their whole BATHROooMM?!?!?" ..........honestly western bathroom are so hard and time consuming to clean, like you said, its easier to clean the bathroom because for me I just take the shower or bidet and wet the whole bathroom, add bathroom soap, brush it then rinse...EASy~~
I recently moved from a wet bath to a closed shower (in Korea) and hate it. I know my family will love it when they visit, but I dread cleaning it.
I've never even used one, but I NEED ONE
Wouldn't a wet bath get all the medicine cabinets wet with water from that shower? That means all your products get damaged from the temperature change and the moisture.
I prefer a normal bathroom than a wet bathroom because then there will be a lot of humidity when taking a shower .
I have been to South Korea a few times and for me the problem wasn't mold from humidity, it was that every single thing and my clothes (I had to take the change of clothes to the bathroom to put them on after showering and as I lived in coed space and couldn't leave the bathroom wraped only in towel towel) were wet.
"oh my gosh like your whole bathroom gets wet"
asian bathrooms are mostly wet. lol
you literally have my dream apartment 🥺
Something like this in NYC could never...
your apartment is so cute!! hope you’re doing okay with the outbreak, stay healthy pretty girl! 💌
freezers in europe are the same we call the freezers in the usa “american freezers” but people don’t have them most of the time they are too large for the house😂
Yess ahah
My aunt and my grandma have one each and everytime we go there we basically act like they're super rich and modern and all ahah
You don't see them often, they just take soo much place
Ahaha yes! I didn't understand at first when she said "the freezer is just drawers", then I remebered how American freezers are. XD
i am always like really shocked in these videos at how small the fridge and freezers are. Like i have my standard american fridge as i am an american in america and chest freezer and still i am like damn i could use a drink fridge to keep my soda and water cool.
• w a t e r • Oh my, how big are homes in Europe(I might need to go watch videos)? In my house (I live in the US) my fridge is a little taller than me and it’s double doors
@@truefalse934 europe is very densely populated and in most places there's either a small supermarket or a local fresh produce market pretty close somewhere or max. 5min walking distance in the bigger cities. i get my groceries almost every day, a big fridge or freezer usually only leads to things getting rotten as people forget about them (at least here in austria, maybe it's different in the US). tho even when growing up we had a classic european fridge/freezer and we would go shopping only once a week and still it was more than enough space and still stuff would get rotten cause nobody ate it. also sodas are not really a thing here for most people and drinking cold drinks at home is also not a thing, no need to put tap water in the fridge lol.
I really love what you've done with your place! I can tell we have the same style. Almost minimalist and I'm not a fan of big bulky & many furniture as well. The color palette you chose is soothing to the eyes. For the loft extension, I would put some carpet and a bunch of throw pillows and I'd probably make it like a reading or zone-out area. LOL.
that empty space that looks over the downstairs of the apartment would make such a cute reading/relaxing nook area, like a lil shelf unit full of books/magazines would be so stunning
I screamed when saw you sitting on the top of the loft OMG please cover those gaps!! Everything else is amazing!!! Nice video
I really like your apartment!!! it looks large, clean and I really love the high ceiling things!!
thank you!!
The interior decorator in me was making my own preference changes throughout
the entire video 😅
So much space... so many possibilities 👀
Thank you for taking us on a tour of your home. I hope you & Chloe are enjoying being together in South Korea. Stay healthy & safe.
I love the light and pinkish colours in your interior, it looks like there’s lots of light and air to breath in the apartment! Looks super cute and stylish! Btw hey, I’m your new subscriber 👋
welcome to the fam!🥰
Do not add decorations if not needed. I love the minimalist vibe of your apartment. 😁
You have such a beautiful apartment. I like how you have it set up. I wish you the best, God bless you !
I love your apartment! Watching this just makes me imagine alot of things i can put around those empty huge spaces.. i just wish someday i can get a same place/layout like this
The down stairs open space could be a cozy reading space. You could get a fluffy rug, then get a lot of throw pillows omg you have the perfect apt to creat whatever you want. You could use the upstairs open space as a home office, maybe even put down a yoga mat omg Girl take advantage of that space.
If you can find one, a sofa table would possibly be a good fit under your tv and provide additional space. usually they are only about 8 inches deep and can be as wide as you like and have a little shelf at the bottom too.
This is exactly the kind of apartment that I wanted to get. My school refused to do the housing allowance. I am not sure if I will stay next year if they don't let me get my own apartment.
Meanwhile where I live a place like that, even in a bad/unsafe area, would easily be 1.1k-1.6k.
Love this video and how thorough you are! We’re all nosy as hell but you managed to answer almost all of our questions whilst still keeping your private information to yourself!
hehe glad you enjoyed 💕💕
Ahhhhhh...the furnished vlog. Perfect. I love space and less furniture. Same with the walls; mine would have art by Britto. Beautiful. Thanks for showing us this.
omg it looks like the apartment from hello my twenties where the dude held the girl hostage
im glad im not the only one who thought this lol
Aww Adrienne I remember when you first got your apartment and there was literally nothing and now look at you decorating it and making it feel like home, I love it !! 💗💗
A lot of places I stayed in Mexico had "wet room" style bathrooms as well and I LOVED it! I hate cleaning bathroom floors, and that made it way easier.
Seoul never could with $500 with that high ceiling one and a half story and spacious apartment, but maybe $1000~1200.
never say never when it comes to your dog!!!! Can,t stress that enough. Love the apartment!!!
I would use that space opposite the bathroom as a storage area. Put in some shelving and store your luggage and stuff like that, as well as have space to dry clothes. This would allow you to properly store your out of season clothes upstairs. The extra space in the loft you could put a low sofa and a lap desk, make that a second office space. Thee is so much potential in this location.
Omg I wanna move to Korea when I’m older sooooo bad!!!! 😣😣😣 But all my family is in America so I would be so lonely 😭
Analise Ventura try and find a friend that will move with you! me and my bestfriend are moving to korea together which will make paying rent, and anything else much easier as we’ll split the costs and we’ll both have jobs. you’ll also have much more fun as you can go to places with them!
I don’t have any friends that have any interest in Korea though ☹️☹️☹️ but I’m starting high school next year so maybe I will make new friends that have the same interests as me 😊 thanks for the advice though!!
Analise Ventura of course! and even if you do end up going alone, you can always meet people there, and still have just as much fun. i hope you find someone who will go with you though!
Analise Ventura omg same? Wanna become friends? Lol
Me too I told my mom that I wanted to move to Korea but I'll be lonely. Hope we'll meet if it happens

I was thinking office space, too! and then she can create an actual dining area if people do come over. from the looks of it though it seems she's totally by herself?
honestly, I actually enjoy an apartment tour, especially Korean one [and its been years for me] because I wish I could live there someday in the future, but ...after years, I think its the 1st time I found this big, giant and idk, its rare sight !! I think the only minus part was the bathroom, you such a lucky girl to find this place!
Wowwwww that is a beautiful apartment!!! I love that wrap around space!!! Thank you for sharing!
This place is HUGE compared to so many apartments in America. I've literally never lived in a rental this big in my life T^T
As soon as she said Busan I thought of the movie “Train to Busan” 😭😭😂
Your place is so cute and modern! Love it
Thst is a nice place AD! HUGE loft fan!!!! Use that extra room to stack up on your dry and canned foods!!!
I love this!! I'd love to live in Korea. I just love their culture and way of life. Your apartment is stunning!! Just so simple, but practical. I feel like they have something for everything and it just makes life easier!
actually a typical Korean bathroom has a sink that functions as your shower, you're very lucky to have a separate shower (even if everythign gets wet whenever you shower xD)! I lived in Seoul so I'm actually super jealous of how much space/storage/comfort you got for such a good price, I paid a similar amount (actually 100,000 won more but I lived with my then-boyfriend at the time) and got a one room with a slighly bigger than average kitchen xDDD so it is actually very fun to see the difference between Seoul and Busan!
Notification fam ❤️
Thanks for the tour, everything looks amazing!
I wish apartments in Charlotte could be like this. 😭😭 Even one bedroom apartment cost $1,300+. Too costly for a college student.
Boohoo... a one bedroom apartment in the bay area (california) costs around $2400
I LOVE this apartment!! Seriously it's so cute and clean!
It's a beautiful apartment! I'm glad you found it and you're content. It's none of my business but you don't have a great eye for room design...The place would've looked AMAZING if you had put more effort into it. I thought of about 7 different designs that would look out of this world. Furniture, color combinations, and decoration are really important to me
it looks like just the "international couple's" apartment too!!
I want this for so long now i want to go to school in korea so I’m doing anything to achieve my dream. I’m korean but i live in the Netherlands but i want to live in korea.
It's so cute!!! So much space for a Korean apartment. I want to pursue teaching in Korea, but my biggest set back is the stress of moving my pets. What did you have to go through to get Cleo there?? SHE'S SO CUTE!!❤❤
i cant believe you brought your dog to korea! my dads girlfriend bought a dog from her visiting her home town and idk what they did to the dog but it was cold and scared and shivered. i haven’t tried to fly an animal through the airlines unless it was domestic. and even domestic flights i’ve seen dogs dying from airline neglect.
Me and my sister really want a house like this and decided when we are older that we will get one like yours ,style is amazing!❤️
I like how you're really girly, with a pink pot and a pink couch and Hello Kitty toilet paper, but in reality, you're living like single straight frat guy, with minimal eating utensils and a tv on a big white wall with cords everywhere. I love it. I'm surprised you don't just sleep on a mattress on the floor... a pink mattress on the floor. Lol.
Damn that's so much of a wasted space, but i like your choice of color tho, it's cute and cozy
I love the aesthetic of your apartment so much!! Also if you haven't watched it already, I definitely recommend watching Crash Landing On You on Netflix whenever you have free time it's sooo good im absolutely hooked
Omg I love it. Your apartment is the dream apartment for the minimalist. My studio in Austin is less than 300sq ft, and I’m paying 1100 and it’s still a sh*t hole. 😩
Austin has gotten crazy expensive!
Wow, $500/month! I love that the frig & closets were all built neatly into the walls. As a precaution, I would put guard railing for the top floor to prevent potentially falling through due to accidental slips/trips or being
dizzy/fainted/disoriented. Also, might want to cut out the portion about where you put your important documents for safe privacy reason.
