An interview with the GOAT philosopher himself. Pruss is an absolute legend, but I'm kind of glad he doesn't normally do any interviews because it preserves the sage mystique he exudes.
I’m so glad to see Dr.Pruss! Would be so great if Thomistic Institute will have him as a guest more often. He is a philosophical genius. Now, I’m going to listen the conversation.
I wish Pruss had a UA-cam channel !
Pruss is so brilliant.
Rare Pruss sighting
Pruss is a good guest!
Comment for traction.
why follow the evidence is the craziest mic drop on a nonphilosopher athiest. Love it!
Hard to hear Pruss. I wish the audio was better.
Simple question: What is the two-word phrase the Professor says at 6:27 min.?
- Daniel
"..that reality is strange."
@@lexd.4602 Thank you!
Pruss!?!?!?!
I'm not so twisted as to think prophesy exists outside fantasyland. I'm not so twisted as to suppose the Jews are going to buy their King, or Messiah, hanging from a tree, unless it is Roman parody, good news of the Roman victory as in war.
Because of poor sound quality, the crucial opening statement by Prof. Pruss at 6:27 min. was garbled.
"Reality........? Could you tell us what the verb is?
- Daniel
You don’t make sense.
@@dijonperry8286 This Clergy fashioned wolf is in sheep's clothing, preaching to the choir of that "wicked generation seeking signs" such as a resurrection. Believers are avoided like the old woman with too many cats, for their love of a fantasyland vocabulary. They are a vile, insulting generation, for "the only sign given is that of Jonah": A believer murdered by "a gathering crowd" of believers acting on faith. We must stand their insulting us with a Divinity who makes Mormons so Christians will know how Jews feel, having literature put on top of literature. Jesus Christ is their King, a Jew hanging on a tree, " for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree:" Galatians 3:13 Romans won any war with the Jews, & the servants of Rome controlled literature are illiterate to this day. Jesus Christ says, Render to Caesar. The Romans created Christ & would have obliterated any memorial of a Jewish Son of God.
Shame on you: for suggesting we all travel better with one foot in a Christian fantasyland. Rome won the war of the Jews, so you are reading their fiction, Roman propaganda mocking Jews.
"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree:" Galatians 3:13
The Christian home is in Rome, not Jerusalem. If there were any remembrance of Jesus Christ, The Romans would have obliterated it, and you would hear the mocking of a son of a Jewish God

Useless comment
@@TheProdigalMeowMeowMeowReturnsOnly one God exists, Caesar. The Christian home is in Rome, not Jerusalem. The Romans would have obliterated a Jewish hero memorial.
Only Roman mockery hangs The King Jews on a tree, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree." Gal 3:13
Dr. Pruss > Dr. Plantinga > Dr. Swinburne > Dr. Craig. Plantinga, Swinburne and Craig are scary smart no doubt, but Pruss is simply a genius.
Dr. Peter Kreeft
@@coolservantjesusswag2936I would put Dr. Kreeft on the same level as Dr. Swinburne.
@No_BS_policy,
Dr. Robert Koons is also right up there. Pruss, and Koons automatically trump the other philosophers listed, who are also excellent (well, Craig and Platinga, at least), as Pruss and Koons have one foot firmly in Aristotelian-Thomistic metaphysics, and most importantly, they affirm and understand the importance of the doctrine of Divine Simplicity. Likewise, I would also put Dr. Edward Feser, Dr. Peter Kreeft, Fr. Brian Davies, and Dr. David S. Oderberg right alongside the aforementioned Catholic philosophers/metaphysicians. Oh, almost forgot Dr. Eleonore Stump.
