You gotta remember smash ultimate sold over 30 million units, this update has NOTHING to do with pro players or the competitive smash community. That's less than 1% of the games player base
Man, I drop out of smash bros three years ago. Then a friend wants to get into it and I help him out by finding two old videos I used. Then I get recommended this. Well hopefully to be very see you again.
Hahaha, no. I played my 600, and I learned I didn’t like smash Bros all that much. I had fun I got my moneys worth, but man are there just some deal breakers. I am far more happy playing my neashish traditional fighters. There were a lot of reasons I dropped the game, the community being one of them, but not the only one. And oh my God, the grass is so much greener on the side. I will never hate on anybody playing platform fighters, but they are not for me. Continue to have your fun and competitions; I sincerely mean that. But by God, keep me and the people around me out of the collective cesspool that is the entire smash Bros community and history. Which can collectively be described as emotional baggage. Also, please explain to newcomers that smash Bros is a platform fighter and not a traditional fighting game. Or at the very least explain what a traditional fighting game is. I’m sick and tired of people calling smash Bros one of them because it’s like hearing somebody say rap and classical music are the same thing. Yes, they do have a lot of things in common especially when you get into the nitty-gritty. But no, they are not the same thing and people go to them to have a relatively different experiences. (Or just send them the new core-A gaming video)
It's like I always tell myself, play and enjoy the game but don't get familiar with the community. I don't have to disappoint myself and be disappointed in others consistently. BUT YET HERE I AM. edit: Thank you for the video, it's very appreciated.
@@majalisdragon8028 yea I agree but also I would love for the community to be on solid terms so new people can enjoy the game and stick around. Thanks for the comment!
Only way smash communitys can work is when you look at an isolated one. Smash 64 is super respectufull and basicaly 0 "incidents" happened like where in happens every single fucking day for ultimate. Melee is SUPER toxic (mostly cause of lffn) but at least theres very few if any P Diddys if you catch my drift. Brawl is abandoned almost but project m/+ is realy alive and pretty clean overall. Smash 4 is completly dead and Ultimate has more Sx Ofenders then normal people
This is the most annoying video I've watched in a long time. Basically "something happened with recent allegations, but I'm not going to say it", and the rest of the video is regurgigating things that had been said a thousand of times, but while being really vague. I wasted my time with this video
i do agree with alot fo the thingns you said, like if poeple keep doing shit like this then nintendo can easily just give up on smash and move onto new or different games.
smash has always been the joke of the FGC, and i play smash, and SF, other fighters and the stereotypes are wild for smash players. it happens in other groups too, but smash players from personal experience be weird. and i usually stay away from smash community i have more friends in other communities than smash.
Smash bros in general does not evolve around competitive smash community. Nintendo can careless of what the community does if you really think about it, because lets face it. Every character that's in Ultimate from our wishes and requests, we just hate them because it's not what we visioned the characters to be. At the same time Nintendo is making money off of us buying Smash games whether we misbehave or not. Our money is what makes them to keep making smash games not the smash community. Nintendo is the only company that has the right to not listen to you, because of Mario. When Mario is on screen, you are emptying your pockets.

nintendo dont care about pro players being weird. The competetive community is like 1% of the actual community.
