Wow !, That is awesome,
For a second attempt that looks so good looks like them inks are nice to use I'll be cracking my bottles open defo 👌👌👌
Thanks mate 👍 yes give them a go
What a great idea to work on a solid surface and you didn't seem to get any runs or spiders, so the adhesion must be ok. But if there was any, you just erase it.. It shows how good the paint is today because 40 years ago when I left school I worked as a panel sprayer using cellulose. if I said then that one day we'd be spraying water base paints onto metal surfaces, I'd have been laughed out the spray booth. Brilliant airbrush.
Not bad!!??? Amazing mate.
Thank you Brian 👍
I’ve always stay clear of Ali as I didn’t think you could erase on it. How do you think it would react to the low pressure and thin paint that you have been using lately? You really are full of surprise mate👍
Spot on demo buddy glad I mentioned them, cheers for doing the review straight away, been to the hobbit land shop an bought half a dozen bottles, going to try them through the eclipse while waiting for bigger needle to arrive, cheers buddy keep the videos coming , 👍 Dave,,
Glad you got something out of it dave all the best rob 👍
I visited the Daler rowney factory and watched these being made, they’re great inks! I use them for airbrushing all the time :D cannot recommend enough.
I bet that was a great day seeing how they were made thanks for the feedback 👍
Great Job Mukka!
Another great piece of work , what can you use to reduce the ink ? Thx T
I now mix fw inks with water and isopropyl alcohol you will see in my latest videos
quality, love it.
Thank you 👍
this was fun to watch! Daler-Rowney makes some quality paints, but I haven't used that FW line in years. Awesome painting Rob!!
It was my first attempt with the inks
@@dredfxcustompaint you nailed it! great work
@@theartworkshop thank you
looking good buddy!
Thanks Bill 👍 hope your good my friend
Any unusual issues with cleaning an airbrush after using inks? Is paint or ink any easier to clean from your airbrush? Excellent work!
It fine had no problems with inks
Amazing piece of artwork Rob, it might just be me but the fine detail and textures seem to be more defined with the FW ink or is it the aluminium board that helps🤔either way it looks great👌👏👍
It's adding the textures john that make it pop the inks are great to use as it's my first time giving them a go 👍
Thanks for watching and the feedback as always much appreciated mate 👍
How about trying som artwork using Iwata Comart paint?
Also sometimes missing a "close-up" detail high resolution view of your great artwork.
Thanks for everything so far.
Your clock must run 28 hour per day... :-)
You are one uber talented bro.....ok, Candies and Inks are dye pigments with no binders, right? Would it be beneficial to add the binders before spraying? Scratch back should still work, up until the binders set up right? If no binders are used, as in your work, how will you make the art permanent? Topcoat clears, 2k, varnish? Thanks for all the great tips and sharing your experiences with us.....suffice it to say, that I have used quite a few tips in my own setup thanks to you....thanks again man....peace
yes top coat like varnish or clear coat to seal it
I know it’s late but what’s the dry time and what finisher did you use if any
Hi the dry time on the inks is quite fast I finished the picture is kapci 6030 hs 2k clear coat
@@dredfxcustompaint ok thank you, I’m gonna try to airbrush so some shoes with the ink and see where it takes me
Nice job. I have the system 3 inks by Daler Rowney, do you know what the differences are?
No I don't this is the first time round for me with the inks
And what do you use to erase ? Thx T
If your working on gesso primed paper you can use an electric eraser or pencil eraser
