I’m only good at drawing feminine bodies so just waiting for this to come out tomorrow 😙✌️
Honestly same. The moment I saw it I knew I had to watch it and then... found out it was not out yet...
Same
Opposite 😭
bro you watch winged canvas too? i see you everywhere broooo
I appreciate your use of feminine/gen
Ah, yes! I'm really waiting for this! I can't really draw male bodies that perfectly so this would be helpful😊!
I used to draw a lot of female bodies, but I frequently draw male ones..
😗👌 so, I'm excited for this tho.. I hope this MIGHT help❤
Thank you so much for this! This video, and a lot of your videos, are just the perfect combination of detailed but simple. I'm one of those people who went to art school and had the love of graphic novel/anime/ 'cartoony' style art kind of wrung out of me by well meaning but ultimately toxic professors. After hitting a really depressive episode post-college where I stopped creating all together I've been trying to claw my way back up and REMEMBER how to do art and stuff like this is really really helpful to me. It's nice to see tutorials for how to do the kind of art I WANT to make.
This helps me out alot especially the knees elbows. Knees and elbows hate me drawing them.
As someone who almost exclusively drew female characters for a while (and is now trying to draw more male characters), this is very helpful
NOT ARMSTRONG IN THE THUMBNAIL 💀
Don't let Kat find you-
ive travelled through every corner of youtube and finally found a great tutorial on how to draw the male body. i really found your female body tutorial extremely helpful as well. both videos explained everything so well. i subscribed too so i can get more amazing tutorials like this.
Now I can cover my papers in hyper realistic drawings of Steve Minecraft of varying quality on my homework assignments
This has been the most helpful out of all the videos I’ve watched. Thank you, also very entertaining ♥️
All of your videos are overpowered helpful!!! 😭💕 Thanks!!
I've been waiting for this one!
Is it possible for y’all to please if I’m not begging too much to make a video about how to choose a hair style that best fit your character? I’m having that issue atm so um yeah it’s embarrassing 😅
We have a livestream planned for EXACTLY this! See you there: ua-cam.com/video/WnfSYNGQvKQ/v-deo.html
@@Wingedcanvas thanks
Thank goodness I found this video. I’ve been trying to set up a personal art style for over a year now, and this just filled in the remaining gaps I needed
This was really helpful to watch as someone learning human anatomy/realistic proportions
Thanks for the video drawing guys has always beena challenge for me and this really helped
Thank you so much! This came right on time!
Im so excited! I never the hand body to proportions ever!
Thank you for the information.
That was really, really helpful. Thanks.
I struggeld with the width of the shoulders. Now it looks way better.
Hi love your channel is really helps me to improve my drawing
thank you! this is actual helpful advice -- not just someone drawing a man in their style and labeling it as a tutorial
Thank you!!
Thank you! This actually helped a lot😰 ACK thanks again
Oh my god, I only found you recently but you are so helpful :D
I’m so excited! This premieres a few days before my birthday, and I can already tell this is going to be awesome. Plus, I suck pretty bad at drawing male bodies 😅
Edit: OH GOSH IM SO LATE BUT THIS WAS SERIOUSLY SO HELPFUL THANK YOU! Like I said before, I suck at drawing male bodies, so this is really helpful :D
Thank you so much, I have problems trying to draw men, and I want to do better proportions on them this helps a lot
Thank youuuu
I'm thankful for this cuz there's this guy in my favorite books/TV show and he. is. BUILT! Like this kid is in middle school and he can rip doors off their hinges sooo... yeah. This is very helpful because the more I learn about men's proportions the more I can figure out this kid's proportions so thx!!
Oh this might help thanks
Thank you so much I always see tips like pay attention to proportion but then I can never FIND the proportion anywhere 😂
im usually really good at drawing (male/masculine) heads, shoulders, arms and torsos. but when it comes to legs i just... give up so this was super helpful
i appreciate your use of male/masculine!/gen
THANK U
Is it possible that there is a video about drawing buff muscles like you know the abs and biceps and stuff 😅
Is it just me who doesnt agree with the heads thing. Yes it can help if you are drawing an isolated drawing, but something like a comic it can be super tedious to constantly measure out for perfection. Also, for people like myself who dont have a digital sketchbook (yet) it can he super impractical.
Nothing ever has to be exact in art. It's just a tool for you to get used to proportions.
You don't have to use this literally every time you draw a character. You only need to study with it.
@@MiketheNerdRanger great point actually
So a taller character, add more heads?
Yes XD
I’m good at draws stuff but not male’s body qwq I hope there’s some abs tutor in there too 😶 I suck at male drawing so I’ll wait till tmrw, and also thank you!!
really think this is a good video keep it up
Any plans for a profile view of proportions? I find that those are almost nonexistent to find. That and widths. It's almost always heights.
What if the character is shorter than 5'9"? Do we use 6.5 heads?
Why have I not heard of the head measurement method until now.
I've recently found your channel and I'm loving it. I love how simple and effective are your explanations. I trying to watch all of your videos, but there are lots of them xD
In one video, that I have no clue which, you mentioned a series of book about dragons that you thought ended in the fifth book but there are more than ten now. And where I'm from that serious isn't popular at all. So I got curious and wanted to check it out. But I can't remember where you mentioned about xD if anyone can help me with this series name I'd appreciate.
Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland maybe? Each series is 5 books
@@Sebastian-zf7ib yeah! That one! Thanks
I can't believe I found someone that ACTUALLY USES/TEACHES MEDIBANG
but if you doing men and woman in a cartoon style does the 7 heads still apply
3 times did not start, but then it worked
what app do you use to darw
is this for only digital art ?
Хоть вы объясняете на английском языке ,мне всё равно понятно . Спасибо большое за хорошее объяснение
How do you measure with heads with pencil and paper?
I'm guessing you use a ruler to figure out how big your head will be, then draw a vertical line next to your character, and draw small horizontal lines on the vertical one where each head ends and begins? It should work.
2:00 Jojo might be a bit of a stretch though I have to say that the overall body shapes got more realistic after Part 4-5
Can i draw bean?
Entre por amstrong xd
Hi
I can't draw at all so it really puts a dent in my full body animations
I dont know really how i can use the heads as a measurement.....
Check this video out: ua-cam.com/video/8nrRkvMqSkc/v-deo.html
great but the clicking sound effects are always too loud
If my style is like cartoon and more simple
I have no idea why but anatomy makes me uncomfortable I DONT KNOW WHY, ITD SO HELPFUL IK TO KNOW ANATONY BUT IT MAKES MY STOMACH FEEL UPSIDE DOWN
If there's anything i dont understand, it's this.
when you stack head to count someone's height youre either a serial murderer for someone who wants to draw with realistic proportions
Pretty cool vid, though i feel like i needs more help with female bodies as the muscles are less defined on women so its harder (not to mention breasts, oh god i hate drawing breasts)
america using heads to measure now
But what if you want to mix a feminine body and Male body together? (I'm asking cus I'm curious)
I don't like drawing men with muscles, because when I look at men on the street they don't have that musculature body.
Hit the Gym and you'll see.
@@kenshobuq7105 I'm a girl. Or you mean tha there's muscular men. No thanks.
Same tho I don't draw humans at all.
@@kenshobuq7105 I think that she meant that the way people usually draw "muscular men" is extremely exaggerated, unrealistic and usually looks completely different than what men actually look like, muscular or not.
Which I can kind of agree with, since a lot of the time people just draw professional body builders ,when the character is supposed to be just an average athletic dude, and call it a day.
Finally I can stop drawing females!
Well nature can be random with the anatomy of a male, especially with genomes, because on extremely rare occasions a male will have the body of a female or the reproductive organs of a female and the same thing with females
These things are so useless... it's funny how all artist who can draw, did not use a single thing they try to "teach" when they learned, yet they think it's a good way to teach... when really, it isn't.
