These classic trailers hit me in the heart.
its like revisiting the movies we all love
99% of all movies made after 2017ish are dogshit. Long live the 80's!
Looking back, the 80s was really the best decade. It was a 10 years run of continuous summer vacation.
less humans, better music, better fashion, better weather, life was cheap, videogames were amazing, less pollution, no internel or social media, ...90s were amazing.
@ricflair9717 People need to stop being nostalgic. I love classic movies, but work on making today and tomorrow better.
Very true . Life is trash 🚮 nowadays for everyone
Murphy owned this film, at such a young age his confidence and poise was unbelievable
indeed, he was a natural. Born to be an actor
Murphy deserves tons of praise for his delivery. So effortless.
he was born to do this
This movie was written for Sylvester Stallone but he turned it down and Eddie Murphy knocked out of the park.

wow
@Da Original Raja really
Interesting! Sly later got to play his hardnut cop in a pussified Los Angeles in "Demolition Man" (1993) though.
@@videowilliams wow
The movie turns 35 today!
Still one of Eddie Murphy’s best comedies
I’m happy he’s doing a 4th one with Netflix
Has a Beverly Hills Cop fan im not really that happy about Cop 4 coming on Netflix and about Bad Boys 3 directors might be directing.
It's also Eddie Murphy's 60th birthday TODAY
After Coming 2 America, it's nothing to be excited about.
Knowing Eddie's track history since the 2000s its gonna be a watered-down PG-13 romp
You shouldn't be, 99% of what netflix makes is horrible.
Time flies. This film is 40 years old.
The coolest film of 1984 when I was a 16 year old kid.
i was 13 yrs old..
Murphy was 21 at the time
@@IsaganiPumar Oh my maths had him 23 when the film came out. (He was born in April '61) Which is young but not too young to have earned his big break by that time, through SNL and other stand-up he had done.
@@videowilliams Why was Axel Foley so poor? Never met a poor cop in my life.
Seriously@@derp8575? The last cop I spent the best part of a day with was an excellent detective who had physically wrestled a pedophile into custody, but whose life outside of that was just a mess. Sometimes it takes a bit of a scumbag to catch a scumbag- isn't that Axel's story too? The one I'm talking about was working with the AFP (Australian Federal Police) and I ended up having to pay for his hotel room overnight. It's a long story...
The 80s were so awesome.
so true
Wasn't even born in the 80s and I agree
2024 click here
Happy 40th Anniversary to my favorite 1980s buddy cop movie of its time. Good times in the 80s.
I can't believe that.
I can't believe I was only 8 years old at the time
Who's here after the Beverly Hills Cop 4 trailer ☝️
Got to give it up to Don LaFontaine for his amazing voice and narrations of so many classic trailers!
Back when Movie Trailers were awsome
Yes
Epic
Watched the first two Beverly Hills Cop movies for the first time last night and loved them!! The soundtrack, the cast of characters, the action, the story; ALL OF IT EXCELLENT! Eddie Murphy is brilliant as Axel Foley and his buddies Rosemont and Taggart are hilarious I wish these movies were more than an hour of the trio getting into funny shenanigans! I could watch them have fun and fight crime all day! This is the 80s at its best!
My favorite is Bronson Pinchot as Serge! 😍
Came here after watching the trailer for Beverly Hills Cop 4
Me too 😊
I refuse to watch that trailer.
@@derp8575 like we care
@@user-xv2lq2nh4l You better care or else I will bend you over my knee and spank your naughty bare bum.
80s Hollywood made these movies so effortlessly. Now they couldn't do it if they tried.
This movie is hilarious. Loved Eddie Murphy always. I watched it way back in the 90s and now reminiscing it again on Netflix now in 2024. I wish we can go back to the 80s & 90s when Hollywood really had superstar actors and movies with human stories far from the special FX and super heroes stuff.
Saw it in the cinema and loved it. Seems like another lifetime.
The salaries of Stunt Doubles in the US range from $10,321 to $260,665 , with a median salary of $46,845 . The middle 57% of Stunt Doubles makes between $46,845 and $118,085, with the top 86% making $260,665.
48 Hrs, Trading Places, Delirious, Beverly Hills Cop, Golden Child, Raw, Coming to America and Harlem Nights. Eddie Murphy just owned the eighties hands down! Beverly Hills Cop is still one of the funniest comedies ever made as well as one of the all time great action films. I'll only ever acknowledge Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2, 3 doesn't exist and the 4th one Netflix is doing I have no faith in because it's Netflix lol.
48 Hrs, Trading Places maybe BH Cop but then a steady slide to the gutter. Or has David Spade put it "A falling star"
@@Physics072 just remember it was Eddie Murphy who saved Saturday Night Live from being cancelled in the 80s, he was the funniest cast member on that show people tuned in just to watch him and if it wasn't for Eddie, David Spade wouldn't have had a career on there
@@user-xv2lq2nh4l And Bill Murray saved SNL before them so Eddie owes his life to Bill Murray, he would not have a job to be later joked about by David Spade. The point is not who made SNL big (Not ready for prime time players) but that Eddie Murphy got full of himself and now can't take a joke. He has not been funny in since Pluto Nash.
@@Physics072 bullshit Bill Murray was just a replacement after Chevy Chase left the show after that SNL was dying when the 80s came around and they needed some fresh young talent to keep the show going and that's when Eddie Murphy came in and saved the day do some research
@@user-xv2lq2nh4l No need to research goof, I lived it I was around when Chevy was huge and liked Murray even more. He was only on 1 year. Do some research since you never lived it live like me.
Bill could take a joke never went cry baby like Eddie. Sorry he was being a little baby and you know it. And he was a falling star due to his movie flops at the time. So it was no lie either.
I'm sorry you missed that era and only can sort of get the feel via reading text.
“Eddie Murphy is a Detroit cop on vacation in Beverly Hills. Eddie Murphy. “Beverly Hills Cop”.”
Just started watching this and I love it already, it’s got that 1980 spirit and that charm only Eddie Murphy can give ❤
Guys why the old movies the music the feeling the announcers are so much better the vibes omg they pit heart and soul back then with less technology nostalgia hit hard
One of the best trailers ever. There are lots of terrible trailers from the 80s, but this one (and Beverly Hills Cop II's trailer) still feels fresh.
Die Hard and Lethal Weapon 1 and 2 trailers deserve honorable mention.
@@kendallrivers1119 Yes, the Die Hard and Lethal Weapon trailers have aged well, too
Just watched this movie...its great helps us experience what was like to live in the 80s...🔥
There are 3 epic action movies from the 80s that will never be topped. Lethal Weapon, Die Hard and Beverly Hills Cop.
Something bout these thrillers ❤😂😂😂
Murphys a national treasure
One of the best films of the 80's along with beverly hills cop 2
Also 48 Hrs, Predator, Ghostbusters, Back to The Future, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Coming To America, Harlem Nights etc.
I had forgotten what a great track Neutron Dance is.
It plays right before my love Bronson Pinchot shows up!!
..thank you Mr Murphy
Beverley Hills Cop Is A Classic Paramount Pictures Action Adventure Comedy Movie Of All Time Back In 1984. This Is The Same Year As Ghostbusters The Movie Along Side Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom Which Are Both Released In Theatres As Well. Thanks Mate. X
Why do you begin every word with a capital? Really curious, not offensive.
Classic movie 🎥
I'm just here because I love Beverly hills cop this movie is Awesome
A trip down memory lane. I was about 15 when I saw it on release
Best action movie of the 80s. Perfection
Eddie Murphy Is Detroit 👮🏾♂️ On Vacation In Beverly Hills. Eddie Murphy 👌🏾Beverly Hills 👮🏾♂️
Axel Foley: (Laughs)
I was 12 when I saw it. Still can remember seeing it in the theater
Un classique j adore je ne m en lasse pas .Eddie Murphy 😍
I will admit I'm kind of ashamed of myself. There is a reason for that I watch this movie one time. I thought it was OK back then. But then I bought the whole trilogy on dvd just in case. I watched it with my mom and brother because we have movie night every Monday. Then I fell in love with it my mom is not a huge and a Murphy fan. But she did enjoy the trilogy. I heard Netflix is going to make a 4th one. This movie is a classic and I love it.
0:05- OMG, They made a sequel to Christine!
0:09- (As Eddie) I did it! I caught the guy who tried robbing Billy in Fast Times in Ridgemont High.
0:18- Everyone is wearing Eddie's standup suits all wrong.
0:38- (As Eddie) Woof, I gotta get used to this if I'm gonna be doing this again 40 years later.
0:56- I'd like to think that this part was still in the Sylvester Stallone script. Definitely on his way to see Rhinestone.
With The best movie Soundtrack in the world
Love it. Can’t wait to see BHC4…
My All time favorite movie wonderful superb great. Eiddy morphy.
Classic movie!!!!
I found out that this was then soon to be Fox TV President Barry Diller's last work at Paramount. Diller- a popular culture molder who sure knows how to get into his former co-worker Michael Eisner's head- sure has had no problem at keeping himself off the talk shows, magazine interviews and even the credits for his work at Laverne and Shirley.
Top 3 .
Beverly hills cop
Lethal weapon
Die hard
Beverly Hills Cop
Die Hard
Taxi (2004)
I miss the 80s so much
This film was WAY ahead of it's time
How so? It's of course timeless but it definitely has the 80s charm all over it lol.
I was surprised to see a video of a young actor Jonathan Banks who plays Mike, who plays my favorite part in Braking Bad.
I did not know that Jonathan Banks is in Beverly Hills Cop.
Jonathan Banks also played in the movie Armed And Dangerous starring John Candy, you should see that one too
0:08 😂
Thank you 🙏
I'm shocked they haven't attempted a remake or even a sequel.
There was a sequel
There was 3 of them😂
they just remain SPOT ON ‼️👊🔥🥂
hello people who are here after watching the trailer for the new beverly hills cop movie :)
old is gold
love the thumbnail
So good. 🔥🔥🔥
Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson production if I remember correctly.
Yes indeed.
It's bring me to my younger years
Who’s after the trailer for the fourth film?
Anyone here after Beverly Hills cop axle on Netflix 2024 40 years later?
Yeah just saw it. Not half bad and definitely better than part 3 BUT still doesn't hold a candle to this one or 2. Watching it reminded me just how movies today just don't compare to the movies of the past decades.
This movie may have the best opening scenes ever... I'm just burning doing the Neutron Dance
BHC franchise ranked:
1. BHC
2. BHC II
3. BHC - Axel F
4. BHC III
Crazy to think Black Noir was almost cast as Axel Foley lmao
I LOVE THAT MOVIE
😎 hmmm, does sticking a banana in a tail pipe really work? Good movie
Fabulous Los Angeles
such an epic movie and series. lol
The script wasn't actually written for Sly. The script was already written for Eddie Murphy then sly was cast to please the studio and started to make all these changes to it which Simpson and Bruckheimer didn't like so they manage to get rid of him and got Eddie Murphy after they convinced the studio.
Don LaFontaine (voice over actor)
The first Black Hero
Someone need to make a statue of him
Why are modern comedy trailers always dead serious?
RIP Frank.

The Beverly Hills Cop Trilogy are some of the greatest movies of all time and some of my all time favorite films but does anyone know why these movies are called Beverly Hills Cop, when Axel Foley is a Detroit Cop and Taggert, Rosewood, and Bogomil are actually the Beverly Hills Cops?
I'm gonna guess white people weren't gonna watch a movie called "Detroit Cop". & because the movie takes place in Beverly Hills. It's where we see him do most of his detective work in the films. Detroit is a safer place compared to BH. lol
@@reginaldfairfield LMFAO 🤣 That totally makes sense! Thanks so much for responding! Are you looking forward to Beverly Hills Cop 4?
It centers on a Detroit cop doing the duties of a Beverly Hills cop despite that being out of his jurisdiction to do so.
this movie is awesome
That’s me!❤❤❤❤
Damn, pretty much showed the whole movie in that trailer.
SUPER👍❤🇵🇱
