Y'all have to watch The LEGO Ninjago Movie next, especially since after it, all that's left is The LEGO Movie 2, since Universal owns the LEGO movie rights now.
Unironically, this is one of the greatest Batman films, and I love how much of a love letter this movie is to the legacy of Batman as a character and how he's affected so many others. Will Arnett is INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED as Lego Batman. Fun Fact: Zoe Kravitz actually voiced Catwoman in this movie and coincidentally she plays Catwoman in live action in Matt Reeves's The Batman (2022). Another surprise casting is that Billy Dee Williams aldo voices Two Face in this movie as well, and that is especially cool since he play Harvey Dent in the original 1989 Batman Tim Burton movie and though we never got to see him come back to play the character and become Two Face, this movie gives us possibly the only chance of Billy Dee William as Two Face in a film
I love how Batman and Joker's rivalry is treated more like a romance than ever before. and I love the arc Batman goes through, learning to move on from his past and letting a new family into his life.
This movie is literally the best satire of anything Batman related. It has amazing references, jokes, and by the end of the day you just end up having a good time.
Honorable mention to Starkid's Holy musical B@man which was doing the same flavor of referential batman humor years before this movie, i love it so very much
Screen Junkies said they will never do an Honest Trailer about The Lego Batman Movie because “It IS an Honest Trailer”, there is literally nothing to parody or expand on that this movie doesn’t do itself.
Not only that LEGO Batman has achieved the happy ending he and the Bat Family needs compared to other Batman iterations (where most stories ended on the depressing or bittersweet note), but he's powerful enough to roast Iron Man as his own password for the Batcave.
Fun fact: the Let’s Get Nuts song at the beginning is written by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, and the singing parts are him doing a Will Arnett Impression. Which is why the song goes so unbelievably hard
One of the greatest Batman and superhero movies ever made, not even kidding. Not only is it a truly perfect parody of everything that is Batman and Gotham city, it actually has a great story with tons of heart. It’s played off for laughs but it does genuinely show that while Batman is a loner his relationships are truly what define him. Hie surrogate father/uncle in Alfred, his adopted son in Robin, his friendship with Barbara, and especially his love/hate relationship with Joker. I’m so happy the studio allowed the filmmakers to make their gay innuendo jokes with Joker and Batman. All of us fans and even the comic writers have made those jokes or at least thought of them, but THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE of all things told those jokes in a truly genius and hilarious way.
My favorite fun fact about this movie is that the directors are huge stand up fans. So they got a bunch of comedians to voice the villains. Doug Benson as bane, because he used to do a bane impression on his doug loves movies podcast. Conan as the riddler. Garfunkle&oats, as I believe catwaoman and the scanner from the phantom zone. And Billy dee Williams finally got to be 2face
As someone who grew up heavily playing the Lego games, the games have always had a certain humor in them and I love seeing that expanded in the movies. Theyre so funny😂
I love all the cameos in the voices, like Zoe Kravitz playing Catwoman. It is perfectly on theme for this movie to have Ralph Fiennes voice Alfred but NOT Voldemort, who is voiced by Eddie Izzard!
This is legitimately top 3 batman movies. Apart from the golden humour it has a batman story that actually focuses on his family and his grief, the only other batman movie that does that I think at least is mask of the phantasm, another amazing movie
This is definitely one of the best versions of Batman, like "Holy Musical B@man", they both just have a lot of fun with the character and don't make it overly depressing.
Crazy how this nailed certain aspects of Bruce Wayne and Batman better than Dark Knight or even the Batman 💀 like it’s 100% a joke movie but there are parts that just HIT
So does anyone remember when this movie dropped and you could address Siri as the bat computer and it would speak to you like lego batman. Best feature ever!
This film released on my birthday, and since my work nickname is "Batman" and I loved the Lego Movie's takes on the character, my husband got us tickets. Best birthday ever!
I remember going to the cinema thinking this would be a lego movie with Batman, and was absolutely blown away by the comedy and the heart, genuinely one of my all time favourite "Family movies"
You gotta think about how kids would play with Legos, gathering up the greatest villains from the different Lego sets they have, like Sauron from their Lord of the Rings set... for example in the Lego movie the different worlds they run through after escaping the enormous Lego city the father built, theyre going through different Lego sets, and its why at the end when his little sisters allowed to play the Legos that show up are the more simple larger bricks made for younger kids Legos that show up to destroy them...
Yep, which is why i love these Lego movies so much. They were made as if kids played with them. I used to have my Lego Batmobile and put Dumbledore in it and just be playing around in my house with it 😂
I honestly think this film is funnier than the first Lego Movie, and that’s saying a lot 😂 And it’s surprisingly really heartwarming at the same time I just love that all the Lego Movies (yes even Ninjago imo) always try to be more than just goofy kids films, and genuinely have good messages and heartfelt moments
My friend and I went to see the live action Beauty and the Beast but it was sold out, so we saw this. We laughed so hard we cried, and still talk about it to this day ❤
This is basically Lego Dimensions the movie. The other IP crossing over in this, crossed over in the game first. But the game had waaaay more. Like Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Simpsons, Sonic, Scooby-Doo, and more.
This is probably one of the greatest Batman movie! It's just so funny with the satire and so many cameos from the different WB franchises was just awesome!
Since you've pointed out the musical score... The score for this movie was done by Lorne Balfe, who has done a lot of work with Hans Zimmer, including on the Dark Knight movies.
Easily one of, if not the greatest Batman movie ever. The fact that Joker teams up with so many iconic villains from other franchises was a perfect way to showcase how an anyone play with their Legos and just put a bunch of random characters in their own world 😂
Unfortunately, there will never be a sequel due to WB no longer having the rights to make LEGO movies after The LEGO Movie 2 underperformed at the box office. Which is doubly tragic since not only was a script for a sequel made but it was intended to be a full on “LEGO Superfriends” movie that that would’ve explored Batman’s relationship with the Justice League, specifically his relationship with Superman, took inspiration from Boogie Nights, had Lex Luthor and OMAC as the main villains and would’ve had something that Chris McKay, the director of this movie, said could only be done in a LEGO Movie.
This and Holy Musical Batman are honestly two of the best depictions of Batman and the Batfamily specifically because they don't take everything so seriously (which makes it ironic that they are also the two that are the most emotional and heartfelt)
So glad to see you guys reacting to one of the greatest movies ever. As the DoD’s (unofficial) top expert on Batman, I can certify that this movie is nearly perfect.
I miss the fact that you could go to Siri and say “Sup Puter” and it talked to you like you were Lego Batman I work with kids I would use it as a way to get them yo think I was cool lol 😂
Lego movie 2 is great and I wish more people would react to the 3 LEGO Star Wars Holiday Specials (there was a Christmas/Halloween/Summer Vacation one) or Rebuilding the Galaxy because those are also hilarious and surprisingly heartfelt at times.
I love the juxtaposition of the biggest flashiest musical beginning right next to Batman just waiting at a microwave entirely silent for his dinner. People thought their way through this movie.
Genuinely one of my favorite films of all time. I was shocked when I first watched it. I was babysitting a friends little brother and he wanted to go see it at the cinema. I thought 'screw it, I like Batman. Lets do it'. Didn't think I'd be leaving the cinema liking it more than the kid lol
Bro- the guy on the right was talking so much about nightwing but he didn’t notice they nightwing reference when robin tried to do what Batman does (the costume he wears during that scene is called nightwing)
I liked Ninjago. Was it the weakest of the theatrical films? Yes. It was also a bit more directed toward a younger audience. But it was still fairly funny and worth a reaction.

Perfect , I am also looking forward for you guys to watch "The doom that came to gotham". It'll blow your mind trust me.
Y'all have to watch The LEGO Ninjago Movie next, especially since after it, all that's left is The LEGO Movie 2, since Universal owns the LEGO movie rights now.

This is in top 3 Batman films with 1989 Batman and Dark Knight for me.
Since Kevin Conroy is dead, i vote for Will Arnett to voice Batman at any animation story
I love how Batman and Joker's rivalry is treated more like a romance than ever before. and I love the arc Batman goes through, learning to move on from his past and letting a new family into his life.
In the Arkham games it’s kind of romantic.
Why do you love that?
@@ComicCrossingBecause it’s funny?
@@Kevmaster2000not really
Romance? No. Emotional co-dependence? Yes.

you made my day, thanks 🫶🏼🤝
I love the song so much If you're looking for it it's called "I'm the (Bat)man"!
“You… complete me”
The Dark Knight 😭😂

I love how Batman gloats about not paying his taxes
Typical billionaire behaviour.

Lego Batman is best Batman. Prove me wrong
This film wasn’t supposed to be this funny 😭, really happy you guys watched it!
Yes it was. What are you talking about? It is a comedy 😂
@saintcarreyett I think they meant "this film shouldn't be so funny" like a compliment
Crazy how this nailed certain aspects of Bruce Wayne and Batman better than Dark Knight or even the Batman 💀 like it’s 100% a joke movie but there are parts that just HIT
this is gonna be such an iconic movie in about 30 years. Forever wish we’d received the sequel
This film had no business being as incredibly impressive and funny as it was!
This is my favorite Batman movie of all time. It is an amazing love letter to Batman and it is a very creative movie
I remember going to the cinema thinking this would be a lego movie with Batman, and was absolutely blown away by the comedy and the heart, genuinely one of my all time favourite "Family movies"

And it’s surprisingly really heartwarming at the same time
I just love that all the Lego Movies (yes even Ninjago imo) always try to be more than just goofy kids films, and genuinely have good messages and heartfelt moments
This movie was perfect. Loved it the first time I saw this in theaters.
I like how nobody questions how they are so young after being canonically 78 years old
My friend and I went to see the live action Beauty and the Beast but it was sold out, so we saw this. We laughed so hard we cried, and still talk about it to this day ❤
“Who always pays there taxes?”
*“NOT BATMAN!!”* 🗣🗣🔥🔥
Me remember watching it in 2017 and before going it be like “what’s so special about Batman in a Lego movie”, me after finishing it “holy shit…”
We need Lego Batman 2!!!!
I love that THIS is technically the first time Zoe Kravitz plays Catwoman, as well as the first time Billy Dee Williams gets to finally play Two-Face
What other Character deserves as LEGO Movie??
Marvel, Star Wars, & Disney
Green Lantern or Superman would be dope
Spider-man
The Question or Zatanna. They would be Amazing.
not Pharrell
I remember seeing this with my dad and his hands down favorite part was when Batman broke Jokers heart in the beginning…….which I have to agree with
Genuinely one of my favorite movies of all time
😊I like that everyone agrees that this is unironically one of the best Batman movies
This movie gets slept on. It’s great and hilarious! Great reaction!
“Who always pays their taxes?!”
NOT BATMAN 🗣️🗣️🗣️
I love this movie. This batman is honestly one of favourites.
SPACESHIP!!
Oh wait… wrong one. Still the best line in any movie. Andrew is right. 🤛😎👍
Since you've pointed out the musical score... The score for this movie was done by Lorne Balfe, who has done a lot of work with Hans Zimmer, including on the Dark Knight movies.
easily in my top 10 favorite movies
Easily one of, if not the greatest Batman movie ever. The fact that Joker teams up with so many iconic villains from other franchises was a perfect way to showcase how an anyone play with their Legos and just put a bunch of random characters in their own world 😂
🎶 I'm Batman I'm awesome, I got my nine pack 🎶 😂😂😂 who always pays their taxes? Not Batman!! Batman teaching kids not to pay taxes 😂
Great Reaction! This movie is so much fun! 👍
I freaking love this movie, dare I say one of my fave Batman movies!!! Great reaction as always Greg and Andrew ❤❤
Funny that they got Ralph Fiennes to play Alfred, but not one of his most well-known roles: Voldemort. 💜
He could've voiced both of them and people would never tell the difference 😂
This is unironically one of the best Batman films
Unfortunately, there will never be a sequel due to WB no longer having the rights to make LEGO movies after The LEGO Movie 2 underperformed at the box office.

GREAT comment about how Batman movies are usually more about the villains than Batman. And I, too, like Batman Begins the best for the same reason!
So sweet Joker saying Batman "I Hate You" in an emotional way.
This and Holy Musical Batman are honestly two of the best depictions of Batman and the Batfamily specifically because they don't take everything so seriously (which makes it ironic that they are also the two that are the most emotional and heartfelt)
The memes of this movie are peak 🗣️🗣️🗿🗿
Another one of my favorites in 3D so many Easter eggs to everything Batman
I was waiting for this notification!!!
Holy shit all this time I had no idea Voldemort was Alfred
So glad to see you guys reacting to one of the greatest movies ever.
As the DoD’s (unofficial) top expert on Batman, I can certify that this movie is nearly perfect.
Yeah when people say this is a top tier batman movie it's not a joke haha it genuinely is amazing
The 3D in this movie is so good.
One of the funniest movies I’ve saw
“IRON MAN SUCKS!!!” Come on man!!! Don’t do ma boi Tony like that!!!
I miss the fact that you could go to Siri and say “Sup Puter” and it talked to you like you were Lego Batman I work with kids I would use it as a way to get them yo think I was cool lol 😂
The meanest thing about the photo is the flash could take the photo and also be in it.
as soon as Andrew started saying the line from Arkham Asylum at 23:14, i immediately joined in 😂 love a reference to the Arkham game
My favorite villain cameo were the Gremlins. 💚 💜
If Greg is in the thumbnail, I click
one of the best movie experiences i’ve had with my dad. i remember him taking me to see it and it was awesome. best lego movie ever
Lego movie 2 is great and I wish more people would react to the 3 LEGO Star Wars Holiday Specials (there was a Christmas/Halloween/Summer Vacation one) or Rebuilding the Galaxy because those are also hilarious and surprisingly heartfelt at times.
"Ironman sucks" yes bats i agree😂😂😂
I love the juxtaposition of the biggest flashiest musical beginning right next to Batman just waiting at a microwave entirely silent for his dinner. People thought their way through this movie.
I really love this movie. Even though it's hillarious, it also captures the character of Batman perfectly
Fun fact: this movie was actually entirely CGI and didnt use stop motion at all which is INCREDIBLE
Who would’ve thought that The Lego Batman Movie would be one of the best films to truly capture Batman’s psyche.
While I like the first LEGO movie more, I found this movie surprisingly fun.
Conputer voice was siri
*Sees Harley on screen with Jenny Slate's name.*
"I dont know who she played."
Awesome Video!!! I LOVE THIS MOVIE SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!! Literally One Of The Best Batman Movies.
This was a fun movie for anyone who has alot of knowledge of batman lore easter eggs etc.
Jenny Slate played Harley Quinn. They didn’t give her many lines but I think she did a good job with what they gave her.
15:13 snake clowns, foreshadowing for Batman vs. TMNT.
This movie explains Batman's psychology better than any of the live-action ones. And justice for Chucky! Did you think I would forget, Greg? 😘
what a fun surprise
57:00 the phantom zone sounds like plankton wife Karen from SpongeBob.
I said they would love this 😂
Billy Dee Williams was finally able to play two face in this one
Fun Fact: The Daleks, The Wicked Witch + Her Monkeys, The Gremlins, Voldemort, and Saruon, Mainly Originated From The Game, LEGO DIMENSIONS!
def top 3 Batman movies for me
Hey Dead Meat 13:57
Saw this movie in theaters! Loved it!
Bro- the guy on the right was talking so much about nightwing but he didn’t notice they nightwing reference when robin tried to do what Batman does (the costume he wears during that scene is called nightwing)
This movie actually does Bruce and Barbara in a way that doesn't weird me out like the killing joke does
Snake Clowns...
it actually happened in TMNT vs. Batman movie
I liked Ninjago. Was it the weakest of the theatrical films? Yes. It was also a bit more directed toward a younger audience. But it was still fairly funny and worth a reaction.
