I’m retry decent speed especially being in that swamp. I always see these boats in Louisiana and always thought they were a bit weak. But you could go places I wouldn’t be able to in a bass boat. I’d probably look into and get one in the future
@@candycoatedrazrbladzI feel dumb as hell, but did you find a video on how to adjust it? None of the jets are exposed. Did you pry out the plugs that cover them? Thanks for the quick response to the first one.
@randomperson32ftw It's a Lil black plastic Phillips screw on the left side of the carburator Losen while running it to lower the idle speed. Too low of an idle it will die under load
I do not have it any more but it's a ground wire to the block and the positive to the starter solonoid The start switch on the motor is already wired up
@FredDaddi this on was a 5 foot shaft. I prefer a 6 foot shaft. The 459 is a lil more horsepower in stock form.I perfer the 459. If your building a performance engine go 420cc as there are more parts avalible.
Jumper cables for battery leads. That's amazing!
Much cheaper than buying Battery leads.just buy the lugs for the ends.
That’s what it’s all about! Cool set up!

It’s 20 lbs heavier then a 420 not 2 . Thank you for the review I can’t make my mind up which to buy for my 1436
Looks sweet
You throw a mikuni carb and air intake with the custom exhaust makes that 459 into a beast
Get the round 11/2 rubber mounts
That is one tiny blade that good engine is spinning :).
@@AlaskaWild ummm....it's an 8" blade with 4" pitch at 4400 rpm
Not tiny.....
Where did you get that electric start for it? Thanks
The Predator 459cc comes equipped with electric start from the factory.
Can you show me how to install kill swift on 459 cc like your engine?
@KeeLahPaw i no longer have a 459 buts it's the same as a 420cc.I assure you there are vids on youtube.
Did you adjust the idle on that? I’ve got a 459 and the idle speed is way high and it makes me push a serious wake even at idle.
Yes you have to adjust all engines to idle how you need them

Mais, ya got a leak sha!
Hey I’m having problems with my electric start could you make a vid on the 459 set up for the electric start?
I do not have it any more but it's a ground wire to the block and the positive to the starter solonoid

Does the engine come with the complete setup are do you have to buy the long tail part all separate and build yourself ?
@joshuaverdin2160 the frame is a GoDevil brand longtail
Engine is seprate.
GoDevil sells them with other engines for about $4000
Boat looks like it has a leak lol
I think he knows
U from Louisiana sha?
South of Houma
You need some flex tape
😂
Y’all leave him alone that’s his live well
I got my 14ft flat bottom with a 459 and a long tail up to 27 with an 8.5” prop
Must be a Thai longtail.
No steel frame Godevil will go that fast.
Would a 9” prop make it faster?
What length shaft? And how wide is your boat? I can’t decide between a 420 or a 459 for my 1436
@themuddman2038 no a 9" prop is for 20-30 horsepower.The 459cc can't swing it.

Why not mount the motor solid and just make the tail swivel ?? Just make your control arm go over the top of the motor
Thats overly complicated and will make these set ups less versatile and balanced
There are sets up like that in the USA and some crude ones in 3rd world countries
how hard is it to turn that thing?
Not hard at all.
I stick with the Godevil brand
The best there is
Where can I get the long tail kit for mud motor build?
@AppleTechPro870 this is a Go Devil brand
Go Devil,Mud Buddy and Backwater are all excellent machines
Hot dam that’s alright right there
Get ARF billet rod . Has a oil hole in dipper .and good to 9000.r's.
I don't believe they make a ring gear billet flywheel.
They do make a ring gear billet flywheel but you lose your charging coil. Plus they don't make one for the 459.
This is my 1st look at this manufacturer. Most expensive by 3000.00.
Nothing beats the strength and durability of the GoDevil brand.
Votre bateau est besoin d'une pumpe d'assechment mes ami !
