I think they should cordon areas for tourists and forbid anyone near any of the guards or horses. They make it a tourist spectacle by not having proper control of the area.
No my friend, you missing the whole point . Those guards are there to make sure that everybody can see those places without allowing them to "cross" the line . Otherwise there is no point to have guards in the first place

The horse bit the kid, the guard didn't order it to do that, it just happens when you're around wild animals.
That's why they have a big sign next to the horses warning that they may kick or bite.

What unit is the female soldier at 5:45 a part of? I know that the guards with metal helmets are the King's Life Guards and I know that the red coat bearskin cap are the Coldstream/Scots/Welsh/etc. Guards, but I rarely see the one's wearing that uniform on guard duty.

The kid IS acting his age. Being bitten by a horse is nothing to sneeze at. People can have anything from a bad bruise to permanent damage to fingers or their hand from a horse chomping down on them. I still have a scar more than 25 years later after one of my horses tried to grab a mouthful of the hay I was carrying and got a piece of my forearm with it. Btw, don’t shame a kid-or anyone else for that matter-for crying or reacting when they’ve been hurt.

I seen a few of these videos. Personally I find a lot of the comments ridiculous. If a horse is known to bite and kick, they should not be around the public. The guards sound like nuts screaming. This entire tourist attraction is dramatic. Read your comment…It’s ok for a horse that belongs to the royal family to bite? How about a stranger’s dog bites you, is that ok?
