It's not only the disrespect that winds me up. It's how the people are genuinely offended that they couldn't do what they wanted.
Part of the problem is that some of the tourists speak little or no English. However the actions of the soldier & horse should be clear to anyone!
@chickenfist1554 off course it's the horse and guard fault, never theirs. They're on holiday, need pictures, pose and pats the horse. Grab the reins upset the horse they have no respect of these professional soldiers
Because they think they're in disneyland.
@waxkopp Disneyland soldier yeah 💯%. They 0:52 don't see the discipline it takes to control the horse and then backyong the horse back into the box.
2) Most underestimate the horse, it has feeling too. They don't realize a horsej hooves or bit can cause damage. 3) they never seen a horse before that's exciting.
I find this kind of footage just makes me realise how much I do not like people. Generally.
As an American citizen. The lack of respect for these solders and their duty is disgusting and shameful. These tourists need to learn the simple rules of respect and distance. Pisses me off to watch the ignorant tourists go and do all that.
You are supposed to,respect all nice folks.
People think its Disney world. Can you imagine them doing this at the white house?
Notice many of them aren't speaking The Kings English.
But the Americans in the US had so much respect when they stormed the capital.
The White house has uniformed soldiers and guards. Not ceremonial soldiers from the civil war.
There’s the sign, “DON’T TOUCH THE REINS”, and the idiot is hanging on to the reins! WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?
The problem is not the sign.
Let's say you are lost in a foreign land. Over there, in this weird looking shelter, there's a huge black four legged creature. A top of said creature, there's a weirdly dressed rider wielding a long spointy/stabby metallic thing. Why your first reflex is to say "Yup, I gonna pet that beast!" ?
Can’t read lol
@@MrToubrouk
A mighty beast indeed.
The horse is also quite something, by the way.
Quando as pessoas vão tirar foto, um espírito mal se apossa delas e as fazem segurar as rédeas do cavalo.
the fact that they had to add that part to the board and people still touch them
Why anyone would think it was 100% acceptable to pull the reins on ANYONES horse that isnt running wild is beyond me
Mir ist es ein Rätsel, warum Menschen immer alles betatschen müssen, egal was es ist😡😡
Tourists will stupidly think the guards and horses are there for their amusement only
Not just the reins. The first guy dislodged the horses mouth bit. Poor thing looks in pain
Is like no one should petting a K9 dog on duties, but all those stupid tourists doesn’t feel shameful
I love how the police turn up straight away as soon as the guard has yelled at someone
Y no sirve para nada. Demasiada " flema británica. " Les toman el pelo. 😜👽
These guards are hand picked and are some of the best GB has to offer. If they yell, it's for a damn good reason.
The horse animals are better trained than some of the human animals.
You got that right. They do a better job in controlling the people then those bops and their big guns.
Is like no one should petting a K9 dog on duties, but all those stupid tourists doesn’t feel shameful
That female guard isn't taking shit from nobody. Keep it up soldier.
I'd love to be a woman, i'd get praise for doing the bare minimum a soldier is required to do lol.. they even lower the requirements to join for me, like the ammo cases would get lighter somehow if i was asked to carry them for my fellow soldiers who desperately need it.. and if i couldnt carry them because i had lower requirements, then it'll be okay, because i'm the quota..
She's my favorite!! Really lets the dingbat tourists have it when they step over the line!
I wish they all responded like she does. The tourist would be put in their place. I feel for the Guards and the poor horse. Have to ask is the tourist dollar worth it?
nope
She seems to have an inflated perception of personal space.
Guy in the blue wasn't smiling anymore after cops confronted him. Cooked
And his kid looked totally embarrassed by his dad.
The policeman took the smile off his face. Hope the reprimand is all that is needed to keep him in check.
Cooked!
Simple plaque saying "this is not a petting zoo, piss off" would be enough i recon.
Maybe not because people can't read the basic signs anyway!?!!! 😂
These people think these soldiers are actors ! They’re soldiers on duty 👏🏻👍🏻🏴🇬🇧
People need to start respecting guards and horses ,well done to guards
Britain, preserve your culture at whatever the cost! Don't allow anyone to take it from you. Spectacular display of discipline and courage. Love it.
Bit late for that
Thank you 🇬🇧
unfortunately it's already deteriorating.
Colonial, criminal, warmonger culture?
@@johnnyb2909 All civilizations and cultures at one point had to defend and hold the line for their self perseverance. If you didnt defend your people then you got assimilated into another civilization and culture and what you held dear was lost.
This is not new...why do you act like this is some terrible thing?
Just because you feel safe in this moment of time doesnt mean you get to virtue signal about something you never had to endure.
As an American. the disrespect towards these men disgusts me, these men are not for show they are active military units. WE NEED MORE RESPECT FOR THEM
When I was a boy in the 1960s I am sure I was told by my Dad that “Interfering with the Sovereign’s Life Guard was a criminal offence” - boys of my generation wouldn’t have dared to have tugged on the reins!! Are these tourists crazy?
Yup, there's no logic other explanation. Sad, but true.
Yes, they are crazy. Clueless and rude, at any rate.
Not only "flashing teeth" in a blue t-shirt yanked the horse's chain, but put his filthy mitt on our copper's arm like a long lost pal! 😮 the cheek
His gormless looking son appeared to think it was a joke as well.
I bet the police and guards have a good laugh shift end.
Like father the son will grow up to be an idiot.
@@nickjanssens I think they need to unwind! Ping......
It looked deliberate for sure!😾
That man ignored the police officer. He should have been told to leave the area
With a clip round the ear!😊
He was more
Interested in his mobile phone.
It is literally getting out of hand. Never mind about these tourons spending money. They are not spending it here at lifeguard's parade.
The RHA lady guard is brilliant. I’ve watched her dealing with several idiot tourists. Cross her at your peril 😂
❤ love her!
The horse who saw off the three teenagers , and the last man is the magnificent Monty ( Montgomery ) at 17.3 hands one of the biggest in the Blues and Royals .
I love Monty, Ormonde
and Arnie.
E a fila dos idiotas não termina nunca......😮😮😮😮😮
fantastic horse.
It's all fun and games until Monty comes at you - LOL! They will even give cheek to the armed police...but not to the large horse.
Yes I dated a Blues and Royal in the 80s and was lucky enough to go in Knightsbridge Barracks Stables. They had a huge horse back then that had to go in a stall he was too big for a stable. Magnificent animals
It is time to place a metal barrier around the horse guards to prevent ignorant tourists from petting the horses. It's NOT a petting Zoo FYI.
Totally agree. It's not a petting zoo.
i agree with you. and also, if they want to touch it, they should ask permission from the rider. those horses are working horses and trained for that purpose.
Unfortunately the pavement belongs to the local council and not the MOD. The local council are more interested in tourist revenue coming into their borough than anything else.
Petting the horses seems perfectly allowed tho based on the videos they post themselves. It’s touching the reins that is the problem
No people need to learn respect and realise this isn't for their entertainment its their job.
When the police went to tell that man what he did wrong the man & woman both brushed the police man away. The police shouldn’t tolerate that & tell those two to leave the premises immediately. Kudos to the person who yelled out “ thank you for your service”.
I think the vast majority of people are a little slow in the head.
I’m always impressed by how well trained the horses are-amazing.
If they're like the limited number of pros we have, attacking them or the sovereign will have the attacker discovering the horse is as much as a threat as the rider is.
Once got selected for the september 'Throne speech' where the budget is announced by the king. You're taught to ride and must show proficiency to take party, but there's a cadre of professionals who are the actual escort. The horses are trained to kick, bite and trample as the rider indicates.
Horses seem to have a good time doing it too, each time one came up you could just see the horse thinking "Yeah, my turn!"
In such a case we were supposed to simply turn and ride off controlled as possible. We weren't part of the security response in case of an attack. Last thing they need is people with a couple weeks riding skill and no weapon trying to interfere.
Génération pas de respect , pas responsable de mes actes , génération selfi ! Mon papa me prendra un avocat , c était pas inscrit à la gauche du cheval et non plus en français que c était risqué , pathétique mais generationnel
Great compilation Buska, so many entitled tourists who seem to think that the rules don't apply to them. The guards certainly don't put up with their unacceptable behaviour.
When you visit our country, learn our bloody laws and respect our culture
Unbelievable amounts of patience these men and women (and horses) have! Huge props!!
WHO THE HELL DO THESE PPL THINK THEY R,,!! U DNT TOUCH THE REINS OR THE GUARDS 😮 KEEP UR GERMY HANDS TOO URSELF. HAV SUM RESPECT
3:37 first time I've ever heard someone thank a Blues & Royals or a Life Guard for their service, that was very nice
Why people think they can grab the reins of someone’s horse, let alone a soldier’s mount is beyond me
The second last Guard, the female is my favourite. She has a good shout. Also when one of the Guards pushed his horse forward the parents should have moved back their children.
Love her and great command of her horse
And she scares me and I’m at home - in a chair - in Texas!
😂😂😅
A good shriek you me…..😂😂
That last horse looks massive. Such a stunning creature.
People need to understand that touching the reins, bridle, and head gear makes the bit in the horses mouth move, which causes the horse to move or get ready to move. If you lead the head, you lead the horse, the reins lead the head. These horses' mouths are very sensitive.
Those horses are breathtakingly beautiful… it’s sad seeing them stuck standing all day with crowds of idiots around. Feel sorry for them.
I understand your point by these horses are trained for this position. It’s their job. 😊
@@shellyamy4878 I get that… but still hate seeing it. People are horrible… they think upsetting an animal is ok & fun. Makes me sick. (As a reference, I also cry in zoos … they should be free.)
😮 such disrespect to the Guard & their horse.😢
Oh buska… I so wish you could shout at them
“Oi you, yes you,… kn*b, don’t touch the bleedin’ reins”…. Just once…please ?!
Love it😂x
That cop was next to useless. The man deliberately held onto the bit, which made it very uncomfortable for the horse's mouth.
People forget or don’t get the fact that those are war horses and those are highly trained soldiers and they are on duty. I have utmost respect for the King’s Guard!
Good luck going to war in a horse 😂
I think no one should be near the gate, let alone to be able to walk around the grounds. The sighn clearly says the horses could bite or kick 🤔
Mad respect to the Kings Guards and all other guards that have to deal with people near 24/7.
Imagine what would happened if we walked up to an on duty police dog handler with his dog and grabbed the lead or the dog handlers jacket. You just wouldnt would you!
Noting how the man in the blue poloshirt and sunglasses thought it was funny when challenged by the guard for grasping the reins, suddenly stopped smiling when approached by the military police. Good!
And I think he wet his pants 😮
Those aren't MP's, they are metropolitan police or in other words civilian police.
@@dingo5208I think they are MOD
And sadly, his son continued to smile big..
Someone said "thank you for your service!".
Thank him.
They are the King's Guard, they do not speak with tourists, they guard the King. The Tomb Guards in Washington also do not chat with tourists*
@@Melior_Traiano is that including not hearing???
I like the idea of being respect- and thankful to those soldiers.
I guess he recognized it.
It is not necessary (or allowed) that he answered!
@@user-xd6dx3ws8h Then why did you say "Thank him"? Who is supposed to thank who?
@@Melior_Traiano
I (!) thank the guy who said "thank you for your service"
@@Melior_Traiano I thank him.
Good guy
I absolutely agree the horses should be used to control the crowd especially when the person is grossly inappropriate 😮❤
The job of these Guards has become much more difficult with the deterioration in standards of public behaviour, manners, civility and respect.
Everybody thinks it’s a petting zoo.
That first guy in blue jacket was even blowing the policeman off. Very disrespectful.
When an armoured mounted guy with a sword tells you to move off you better do, no matter what.
The dumb expression they assume, every time they’re told to stand back or similar is something unbelieveable and unacceptable! Stay home!🤨
I feel so sorry for the horse. No animal should be harassed like this 😢
I hate to think of you learning how many horses the Household Cavalry have got killed since 1660.
Must be in the hundreds of thousands. That horse is one of the lucky ones in the British Army.
I feel bad for the poor horses too! No horse should have to stamd still for long periods, bring gawped at like some kind of circus freak its not natural!
I do believe they have break time or rather exchange of animals like the same way K-9 units are treated, however the horses seems more bothered with the mouthpiece and the dumb tourists keep pulling the cord that holds that piece.
@@EXMachina. I noticed that too, they all seem to have really badly fitted bits!
It’s their job and been doing it long before the tourists showed up. They aren’t there to be looked at, they are there doing what they are trained for. They are very well cared for and have great lives. They can bite and kick if they get annoyed, and often do with no consequences, and the guards have got their backs. If the horse didn’t trust the rider and didn’t like the situation it was in, believe me, they’d be off.
All the horses are so beautiful!
They are real soldiers doing a real job.
Buska, that’s a great compilation mate 👍🏻
Hay gente que simplemente no tiene educación.
The man who grabbed the reigns, look at the offspring he produced.
Looks even dopier then his Father.
The arrogance of these people is astounding
Guards shouldn,t have to shout tourists need to respect
What always amazes me is how rarely you hear a ‘Thank you’..or acknowledgement to the them for allowing the horses to be petted or the allowing the photos taken. Not expecting a response…just a simple ‘thank you.’.
Perhaps it’s time for new signs? ‘Danger. These horses may kick or bite and while we don’t care if you get hurt, we don’t want to risk you hurting the horses.’ I don’t suppose anybody would read it though.
Maybe have it read, horses may kick or bite, and we'll let them!
The tourist in the blue puffer jacket just shrugged if the police officer when he was reprimanded. He absolutely didn't care because he got his way.
3:35... the American who yelled "thank you for your service" represents us well...❤
Not from my experience of working in hospitality and American tourists 😂😂 the only decent easy goong one we had was a group of kids travelling round Scotland and they were so lo Ely they got free coffees and bacon rolls Al round.
Your wrong I did 32yrs in the British army and most of the British forces don't like it being said to them it's an American thing
@@Ruth78620 Most patriotic Americans do appreciate the military. In America culture, its customary to thank soliders. The tourist here does represent some of our American culture and customs well.
American tourists may behave badly in general, but they will still take the time to thank a solider before getting drunk and embarrassing themselves at a London restaurant lol...
@@patterdale4332 I agree, expressing our deep appreciation for the military is a uniquely American thing. I'm sure the Brits appreciate their solider as well, but they may not feel the need to always thank them. In America, when you see soldiers on the sidewalk, in a restaurant, or at an airport many people will approach them to thank them for their service. Most of us were taught to always thank a solider when you see them.
“Thank you for your service …to the evil king and not the ppl”
@@Titi-pourris effectivement
Anybody who holds on to a horse, or cause a horse distress should be arrested.
This is not a joke to a, Soldier on horseback. It is dangerous.
Do they realize those policemen have automatic rifles in their hands. Would people go up to a police dog and pester it the way they pester the horses.
Unbelievable, these people are so ignorant and disrespectful
The 2 first people, look at them just dismiss the police!
I love horses, they are beautiful creatures but a horse is one animal you don't really want to mess with.
Same, beautiful animals.
American citizen from the State of Tennessee. It irks me the rudeness, stupidity of some of these tourists. The patience of the guards is amazing. Love their firm responses which were warranted.
People (tourists) don't understand that these guards are real soldiers. They are not play acting, they can and will mow you down if you don't move. Love your channel. Hello from Canada.
That last horse is massive
Brilliant reactions from the horseguards. Some stupid people still laughing away after being told off!
SMH at that last one..."But it's OK, yeah?"
Policeman "No, it's not OK."
"Sooooo....it's OK, yeah?"
1:16 - No care for what he did, just dissmisses the Officer to make sure his picture is fine.
Ex brit military myself and being a light infantryman in my day i never had much thought about the queens whoops! kings guard other than woodentops, but after seeing this vid and more like it i can say these guys and gals deserve our upmost respect, well done guardsmen and women you are top notch, side note i never realise tourists could be so thoughtless. cheers buska great stuff. love to all.
I have great respect for the guard who works every day having to deal with hordes of tourists again, one even crazier than the other
I love these horses and soldiers. One day I will make my way from Australia over to England to see them in person. Maybe when I win the lotto. :P
Note how docile the horses are when it is only children present.
Police man : Excuse me, sir, that was very naughty!
Arsehole : Yeah, yeah, so what, go away, don't bother me!
Police man : Um, sorry. 😂😂😂
The Cops in the UK seem so meek.....why is that ?
I am so disgusted by the lack of respect.
I did chuckle when the precious little twats ran like little girls when the guard moved the horse straight at them.
I served for 21 years in The Australian Army, and while never in a "ceremonial" unit, did many parades and things like catafalque parties for ANZAC day remembrance (in military terms, our most sacred day).
Not once in that entire time did I ever experience anything but respect, and appreciation from the public. I guess I was lucky.
These men and women guards are doing an excellent job.
Those horses are the most beautiful ever.
They should be banned from the area and pay a fine for stupidity.
Honestly that is a super hard job for a horse, they aren't allowed to behave according to their nature.
Leave the horse alone.
I'm no guard, but would certainly flip if anyone just touches or grabs the reigns of my horse 😳
I love how the two cops at 1:32 were trying to reason with the idiots, clearly getting nowhere, walked away looking at the guard as if to say ‘do what you want we don’t care’ 😅
People have no respect today at all
One big problem are the uniforms the guards are wearing. 150 years ago they were standard military uniforms and everyone respected them. However, today they are fine for parades but not for general guard duty. People think they are just Disney or tourist props and don’t take them seriously. People don’t believe these soldiers are for real.
Put the guards in modern uniforms with machine guns instead of blunt swords, and no one will dare mess with them. The brass is doing these soldiers a disservice by demanding that they do real work in what today can only be described as rather silly uniforms.
The police are not dressed as policemen were a hundred years ago and with good reason. They are wearing modern uniforms and modern weapons and you don’t see any tourists trying to mess with them. The soldiers as well should all be dressed in modern uniforms with modern weapons at hand.
Looking less like Disney characters may also take a great deal of pressure off of these soldiers.
To be a combat unit and have to deal with tourists has got to be pretty annoying.
I am very happy that they install those stoppers to protect the guard, the horse, and the people who don't know their limits and keep approaching the horse. Thumbs up
You’d think they had never seen a horse before
I've seen many of these. There needs to be a new rule - don't touch the horses
TOTAL respect they really have to be so tolerant of total idiots is this what they have to deal with on a daily basics,,, they do deserve the highest respect
When I was a boy in the 60's I was taught respect. I'm ex forces and good on the personnel, Show some respect.❤
It's almost as if some of these clowns are saying "How far can I push the guard and horse! How much can I get away with".
It amazes me that people they have the right to touch, get hold of the soldiers weapon. Would they do the same to a gun or a sword? No they wouldn't. Keep your distance and hands OFF
some people man... best part, children usually behave better then so many adults.
Just love the two last guards❤
Stunning horses ❤
Some of the best for sure 🤣🤣
I wonder if the guards 'think thank god for that' when they hear the bell chime lol
Ive never seen the small light brown horse before...she/he is stunning ❤
