    Being successful is not in itself evil. Motivation, purpose, and charity matter. I was formally adopted by my Jewish Step-dad when I was 38. I noticed how he spent his wealth. He was not perfect. My mom was a gentile, so the Sabbat was not kept. But, my dad did keep faith in his actions towards others. I was so proud to know him.

    This is probably the best talk I have come across about wealth. The foundation is God and his purpose to have an abundant world. We must create the vessel for his abundance to flow, because he wants us to learn to be productive and fruitful in his service. I so appreciate how you presented this argument, Rabbi. As a Christian, I wasn't able to find teachings on wealth that put me at peace with God. But the way that you have presented your view makes perfect sense, and I believe that I will now have peace praying for abundance while doing my best to build a fruitful vessel with my work. Bless you, Rabbi.

      Sad thing is that Christianity and Judaism, even when they share much, are not the same thing. Christianity is a betrayal to Judaism, a promise that the Torah is not bounding and what you'll get in life comes from faith not by works. Maybe you should start listening to your Christian Pastor instead of a Jewish Rabbi. Then again, "maybe" you should. As the Rabbi said himself: do not be particular to the source of your knowledge. I can not help but wonder: Is it not in Christianity all your questions answered already? Is your Christianity not enough to fill you Vessel? Maybe you are confirming that Christianity is in fact a fantasy tale.

    If you are rich and don't know what to do with your life, feel lost and depressed, the next objective is simple: help others

    • @AndyZaturnoPremiere
      @AndyZaturnoPremiere 3 роки тому +2

      Nope. You don't get to intervene in other people's lives just like that since HaShem has already a plan for them. We find our true paths thro' individuality and our connection with G-d. Maybe your intervention is something that G-d wants from you in the form of philanthropy, but it is not mandatory (or your mission) to save someone who doesn't want to be saved. One who wants to be saved, needs to create their OWN vessels and make the effort so G-d can fill them with oil. You are only human.
