Thanks for supporting my channel just by watching! 😊 I finally managed to publish this world as a scenario on Steam! So if you feel like trying it out yourself, just follow this link: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3236301776
Just got back into space engineers after dropping it in the tutorial years ago when the constant head wobble was a thing. Did I just see you add two blocks to the nacelle on the foundation when it needed one? Maybe I lost track of the counting. If that was a mistake, the realisation will be hilarious.
It was AMAZING to see how you build those hinges to increase the length of the pylons for the right nacelle. Such an interesting and thoughtful episode! WELL DONE!!!
You not knowing pistons seems like missing a core beeblebum feature. Also: I was saddened by the Cobalt patch turning out to be Magnesium. This episode is displaying a disturbing lack of metal grids. Otherwise it was quite entertaining!
I did actually grind about 550 metal grids.. but it was on a salvaged ship that I cut out of the video... But at least it should give you some satisfaction knowing. 😂
Making good progress. Hope the nacelles will be detachable, so keep the ions on the right. You can have ions on the main ship face them as well. If you are running out of cargo space before you get a projector, perhaps just build nacelle A's cargo container
If you build a lot of one singular thing, it's enough to place only one in the build plannet, because then you can take out the components in bulk by holding down ctrl when you middle click.
When you do find a projector and start on the second Necelle, are you going to place the refinery where the assemblers are in the current design? So Assembly would be on one side and Refining on the other
Once I find a projector, the Nacelles inside will be reorganized (most likely just containers and hydrogen tanks, and making space for extra thrusters. The Assemblers and Refiners would go in the central part of the ship.
As you might have noticed in my playthrough, this scenario does not have any triggers, Milestones or scripted events, so most of what you do are self-implied challenges. But it does start you off in an interesting world and Situation. You can add more mods along the way to make it more challenging. 😊

wow sounds great i have a look and download it
I'm really enjoying this series. Great work! Cheers!
Nice episode! Good to see the Foundation looking shiny and new. Btw when I say FM1 on the side it looked like FML to me. 😂
Lol... Which does make sense waking up 300 years later than intended... 😂
Hope you can make more from space engineers, it was very fun and entertaining

Nice, glad you enjoyed that. 😊

Hmmm.. I am not considering detachable Nacelles.. BUT.. you did give me something to think about for a design.
Out of interest, have you thought of using the Radio Spectrometry mod? it makes finding what ores asteroids contain at range a bit easier.
I need to have a look into it, Its definitely an interesting mod! One I am wanting to use for sure.
awesome job on the foundation and great thinking on that hinged thruster connect i was wondering how that would work
😊
Hey beeblgum well done
i just found you love these video i cant wait for jump drive
Yeah, a jump drive will definitely reduce the travel time. hehe 😅
Another good episode. I enjoy the series. Keep going.
Glad to hear that! 😊

hmm really? I'll have to remember that and test it out!
Thanks for the tip. 👍
@@Beeblebum You're welcome! It helped me a lot when I put a few stuff in the planner and had to fill up my welder ship with resources.
@@Beeblebum oh, and just to make sure, you will have to click multiple times.
The only thing you would have needed for repositioning that nacelle is a cockpit, one repositioned engine and some mergplates.

Is it intentional that the shots from behind your ship making it resemble an electric guitar?
Lol, I did not notice the guitar.. haha.. Now I gotta look back. 😂
Gonna have to try this scenario out as soon as I can get back into playing.
