Melanie was beautiful..
It was good to be 15 in 1970..
To my friends on the other side. Life was good, wasn't it? It was hard, yeah, ups and downs, tears, fears, cheers. But, all in all we lived thru it and now I can't wait to see you again. I'll be there soon. Songs like these made us who we were. Love you all, all ways, always.
I was the back up singer of her first concert at Town Hall in Manhatten...

Ur a blessing ..WOW .. great music video production
Does anyone else remember seeing Melanie back in 1977 on The Brady Bunch Variety Hour?
She woke me up at 1:30 singing in the Jonny Carson show. I have never for her voice.
I was in high school when this song came out, waiting to know if I would be drafted..
Thanks Pedro for checking in with us.

@@janhammer39 I just love Melanie. A very talented and honest artist, Thank you sooo much for posting!
My nana said I sounded like her and I can see it! Weird
Where did this version come from? It's beautiful! I've never heard it before.
The original is in French by Dalida.
However this American version is great.
@@Veritas2233 From what I've read, Melanie's is the original and Dalida's is a cover. She also recorded a cover in Italian.
Miley is a new Dolly
Definite Dylan influence...
