@@robmotown1 I’m not really a fanboy of either - but I did see the drag car beat the street car. And if even if they were both ‘street cars’ one is seriously more practical, safer, goes around corners and has significantly better fuel economy than the other for daily street duties. A win is a win though - but nothing to be entirely celebrated.

GEEZ, the G6E driver alone gave the HQ guy a 30kg advantage ! The Falc. probably weighs 250kg more than that LIGHTENED HQ; and it was real that top end charge of that mildly modded Barra Turbo !!
Bloody lovely hq that one. Real nice build and a credit to the owner. I own a turbo fg and I can sympathise with the owner of this one with how hard they are to get traction in especially when they are lowered

I know the Fg was struggling with traction but the fact the Holden was getting will spin with those fat tyres on the back shows its got some grunt as well.
Maybe the G6 is still open diff. True trac is a must for a G6

Lighter by near 300kg, a tweaked near 7 litre V8, with a massive set of treads in the back, beats a LIGHTLY modded Barra in a near stock looking car, and you carry on as if that's something to wet your pants over, (get a grip, or maybe you've to tight a grip) !!

Hq goes killer for no boost car sounds tuff and someone put some pride in build and ford makes good power clean sleeper
That HQ is squeaky clean. Get rid of the 400 and put in a glide or 350, there’s a 60 hp gain just in that. Then dump them big rears and put in a pair of 10.5s

How do you set the trans brake???? I thought you let go of the switch and it engages forward drive!!! It’s just a solenoid controlling one valve/circuit in the trans valve body!

wow what was the point of this ! was it to try and say holdens are better ! pretty sad ! gee that HQ was so close to being standard it wasn't funny ! and for our next video we're putting up a blown chev in a holden any holden against grandma on her mobility scooter because holdens are the best and we will prove it. these matchups need to be more fair a bit more grip on the falc and it would have been neck and neck from the start,
would of made for a much more entertaining video the falc never had a chance with stock tires

I haven't lost grip on reality, you ford fans have thinking that the Barra is unstoppable when in reality a built up civic would eat it for Christmas and that's only a fwd one not awd bc that would be too unfair.

How is this a fair comparison when a G6E blows the doors off a new V8 from Holden. So you're saying an old tired 308 from HQ is going to beat a new Barra inline 6 turbo on performance
100 percent and they only beat those SS's is bc they're NA when the Barra needs a turbo to be quick. If you put a similar turbo setup or any decent setup on an LS it's gonna destroy that Barra

.compared I have owned 2 shitty barras,they scream down low just into mid range then there all over,wear the barra runs out at top end the jz is just waking up,you never see any barras at underground racing top end runs.thats facts
