Honestly I don’t mind them taking so long. That means they’re working really hard to make sure there’s no bugs 🐛.

Lego Star Wars doesn’t need voice acting but it works really well in the Lego DC/Batman games as they use the animated series cast.
Mark Hamill as the Joker and Michael Rosenbaum as the Flash always makes me happy when I play
Voice acting is good like no body is speaking about how force awakens has voice acting
I think Star Wars is good for that, I grew up with the Batman 2 and avenger games, and they worked there

the fear I have for the mumbling to be an option is that the cutscenes are most likely designed around talking and so the mumbling wouldnt have the proper visual aids that it'd require
I think both modes will have different cutscenes at least that's what I'm hoping for the issues you just said

@Deathsdayoff person I did watch cowardly the courage dog, with what LEGO has done in their recent games is they really mixed well with voice acting and physical comedy doing a great mix at both.
before they over did it with physical comedy during early voices evolution, mostly referring to LEGO marvel super heroes.
with the og games the animations were often slow paced, really slow, they made it too snappy in some of the “modern” LEGO games, mostly 2013-2014 now they made it perfect, making it for both mumbles and dialogue can fit perfectly together, mostly referring to LEGO dc super villains with this.

God, as someone who's played most every Lego game released, being able to switch on "Mumble mode" would be amazing.
I also really hope this happens, because it just seems wrong to have a lego game with voice acting.

I definitely prefer the voice acting, I quite enjoy it for most Lego games, but I'm not too particular either way. I'd be impressed if they game both options however
@Conor Garcia the one cutscene in episode one where obi wan is fixing the engine and it breaks and he shrugs and goes un no just randomly pops in my head on random occasions. That has been engrained in my head since like 2006.

I had the older games and loved the comedy style, I think I'll end up doing the voice because I want to hear the character voice through the game even though I liked the og mumbling

Well even though the mumbling is nice, i prefer the one with real voices because they have some voices acted by the cast from the movies and they can sneak some more jokes in there. Plus that it makes it feel more like you are with them instead of watching them. At least thats what i feel
Maybe cut scenes with the actual voices, but all the death sounds could be from the original game? Sounds like a good combo to me.

I didn’t want to have to do this, but we are about a week out without another video. If it is emergency related, I understand, but if not, I am disappointed
The first time I saw the movies I actually spoiled my father, as I played through the LEGO game multiple times. I especially remember the scene in episode 1 where they expierience “the bigger fish”.
The thing is about how the orginal star wars game having is well at least when I played them as a kid I never seen the movies I only played the Lego game so I never really understood the story I could kinda get it but not really I dont know if I'm the only one with that experience but I'm still pretty happy that they might be adding mumbling because its nostalgic I personally will go through voice acting on my first playthrough but on my second I'll definitely go with mumbling.

It’s insane that people had to give feedback for them to think about doing this. People have been wanting mumbling back in Lego games since they added actual voices.

I think that they were trying to hint at this in the Holiday Special. If you listen closely in various scenes, you can hear the og death noises of various characters!
I'm glad that there is an option for either, even though I prefer the voice acting. It does indeed offer some replay value by offering both, which is nice.

I remember the very first Lego game to have voice acting. Lego Batman 2: DC superheroes, I was so excited. But now I miss the grunts.
the force awakens lego game has a funny talking scene where Leia said a wicked burn to on of the rebel workers. it wasn't in a cut scene but the characters were talking while you worked on a mission. which is why i hope if there is talking we will get this again

i think i remember a lego batman game that you choose the audio language when you boot up the game, and one of the language options was mumbling.

I seriously hope this happens, I honestly did not like the added in dialogue in the newer games, the mute slapstick comedy of the originals were just so good and made them feel like more light hearted comedy parodies of the original movies rather than just the movie with some humor added in.
Honestly why they didnt think to make "Legacy mode" a thing earlier is beyond me. It's such a staple to LEGO games, I strongly dislike the VO in the games and I do VO 😂

Question: When is Warner gonna put TCS back onto the Google Play store?
I spent $5 to get it and had fun but recently got a new phone and found it's been completely removed from the store for a while now when I went to redownload it. (It's even removed from my purchase history and impossible to redownload)
I'd love if they have 2 options. However, I want 2 fleshed out options. I don't want vocal cutscenes with the voices removed. I want grunting cutscenes with all their slapstick comedy and facial expressions given voices to for the voice version. I don't want them to just remove voices. It will be horrible. It NEEDS to be silent first, with the small subtle funny nuances that come with that, and then give that voice acting for the other version if you get what I mean.
All i want is being able to fail a missions after a set of lives are out so i actually have ti gev a shit what im doing and makes CO OP that much better so i actully have to work together with my buddy. But i know well never get that sadly

Some reason seeing other people playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 looks so cool.
I'm a good player skilled all around but I always just have to be that one droid on any Battle for the new republic marches instead of the clones
I have been clones many times but wish it was permanent so painful.
It would be cool of Dice announced that they would release Ahsoka and Assaj Ventress into Battlefront 2. I know they cut off support, but that would be so cool if that came out of nowhere.
The question if they do that though is because the cutscenes were made with voice acting in mind would they still work with mumbling?
Simply replacing the dialogue with mumbles may not be as good as cutscenes and humor that were designed for mumbling.

Already did with LEGO worlds, still limited to two players, but it wasn’t couch co-op.
I hope that if they have the classic mumbling they'd also have to have the heightened physical comedy. I'm excited regardless as the voice cast is looking brilliant! So if they have both options I'll do two playthroughs. Also the graphics look so nice, the lightsabers especially look gorgeous.

For those of you who just want to know what legacy mode is, it’s supposedly a mode that disables the voice acting, and adds back in the mumbling noises from the first Leto Star Wars games
