@@robbieroams definitely! I try to keep my travel guides on my phone or tablet to save weight and quick searching. I normally use Kindle but would do a PDF as well.
I'll be there next month! We are doing the NC500 too. I got your map a few weeks ago so I'm bringing that along with me. 10 days in Scotland, and we still probably wont see everything So excited!
Thanks for your awesome book, so helpful in planning our trip & it will be our constant companion in September while we are there, can’t wait!! We’ve told our friends who are travelling with us & they are getting your book as well. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful guide.
I went to Skye in mid-September 2018, and swore 'Never again.' Everywhere was so bloody crowded - I dread to think what July & August must be like. Go by all means, if you actually enjoy being surrounded by heaving mobs of idiots taking selfies.
So irritating, wouldn’t be so bad if you spoke to locals and got your pronouncation correct , also Portree is not a bussling Port , it full of tat shops for the likes of you people
If you were driving early and stayed until late then you could cover most of the locations with a quick stop at each and perhaps a walk to the fairy pools 👍
Just come back from there and I'm a keen photographer. It just didn't do it for me at all...I have more vegetation growing in my fridge than on the entire island....
It was just so baron. i just couldn't see why everyone raves about the place...People always say, 'Oh you have to go to Skye I love it'...But people are like sheep, If they hear that enough they all say it...I for one will never go back. I took no photographs....@@robbieroams
As always, really appreciate your views of Skye. Heading there in August and have your top 10 on our list.
Thanks I hope you have a wonderful time 👏
@@robbieroams what could go wrong? (famous last words!)

Excellent. Succinct and some brilliant instagram-style photography ❤
Glad you liked it!
Heading to Skye this September, thanks for this video 👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻
Hope you enjoy it!
I just ordered a book, thank you for the amazing and helpful videos!
Thanks a lot for your support!
We’re on the 500 now and your book and map have been wonderful.
Thanks Gordon I hope your experience was excellent!
Love the video! Do you sell the NC500 travel guide as an e-book?
I can make it available as one if that's something you'd be interested in?

You love anything really easy we noticed
Who’s heading to Skye this summer?

@@travelingRonman that’s going to be one hell of a trip! Have a great time 😀
Was in Skye last summer and when I finished the nc500 in April and heading back in 4 weeks time! It had to be my favourite place
@@simonmorgan1698 It's such a great location with so much to do & see!
@@robbieroams really can’t beat the views from storr though
Great video! One question what drone are you using in this video for some of the shots? They look amazing.
Thanks - it’s the Mavic Pro 2 👍
You can visit Prince Andrew too in Scotland
Good to know 😂👍

Yes Skye was a change to the NC500 - unfortunately like parts of the Highlands can be very busy.
Ive been here for the past 5 days and it's been completely desolate, I've hardly seen a few people and the weather has been incredible. Lucky me then
If you think that was bad you should be here now Aug 2024 , like a bloody theme park

I'm off next week. I have never wished more that I can drive. Not laziness, I just can't
Can Isle of Skye be covered in a single day

Hi. To see all TOP 10 Isle of Skye Must Sees, how many days do you need?
I would say 2-3 days to see them all properly 👍
If you are going to a place, please show respect by pronouncing the words correctly. TALISKER !,
How would I know if it was correct or not?
I suppose you could speak to a local...
@@keithreeves7463that is the difference between “visiting” like a tourist and showing respect for the locals.
