I moved to the North East May this year from Canada and its amazing, I cant wait to visit all these awesome places. Do you travel with your dog all the time as I also have a dog that's is always beside me.

1 minute and 42 seconds in and not one word about the culture, welsh being the majority speaking language or the fact it's called Ynys Môn and Anglesey is a viking name.

Hi mate, nice videos you have ! we're due to visit the NC500 for the first time mod Nov 2024 we can't wait ! Do you mind me asking please, if you have any guide or advice on how to bring out a book ? I dont plan an NC500 book, I plan a coastguard type book as I fly for them.

Brilliant video. We love the heb's and visit every year. No pictures or words can really do justice to the jaw dropping beauty of these amazing islands. Would absolutely recommend your book to anyone visiting the Hebrides for the first time.

Maybe for tourists that dont do museums Bogota might be a bit boring. But both the Gold museum (small entrance fee) and the Botero museum (free entrance) count as some of South Americas best museums.

I have lived in the north east of England all my life, and couldn't imagine ever living anywhere else. There are so many amazing places to visit and I think this part of the country has largely been ignored, so we're pretty much a beautiful secret. I know more tourists will have consequences, good and bad, but if everyone treats our stunning homeland with respect folk can continue to enjoy it in the future. The people of the north east are friendly, helpful and welcoming, enjoy your stay if you're lucky enough to get up here!

Pity about the messed up pronunciation of some of the place names. The letter y is pronounced uh not e. And the classic is ff is f and f is v.

Robbie. your video came up on my feed by pure chance, but I had heard of your other books by seeing them on Instagram. Your video is a great way to introduce them. It's a shame that were not able to go into some of the places you talked about and film them for the video. Your book itself reminds me of the old Rough guides, that were equally as informative. Hoping to do this Roeadtrip with my wife, next year (your book in hand of course). So much to see in our country that we overlook by wasting two weeks on a Beach in the Med.

So if you have your rabies vaccine in Ireland but the EU Passport requires the rabies from a EU country? So basically you'd have to get the rabies shots again? Also, in EU is it 1,3 or year rabies shots they accept? In Canada the Animal Health Certificate is only like $60, in Mexico it's only $20, USA only $50 as well. Crazy how expensive it is in Ireland! Also, if your dog has a microchip from Canada or USA but now they need the EU microchip does that mean they have 2 microchips or one gets removed...so confusing haha.

the North Wales Snowdonia360 is another great road trip, with a few optional detours you can bolt on. Like you spent lots of time at Ynyslas on family holidays as a kid. Some favourite places, in the North, Borth y gest, Rhos on sea, Cearnafon, not spent much time in the south but I recall really liking Manorbier beach,

Great video and includes some of my favourite places on earth. We live in North Yorkshire these days but we still have the odd trip to Northumberland. Places like Holy Island and Bamburgh have an atmosphere to go with the history and architecture, and the beaches really are to die for. I still find it crazy that large areas of the North and North East aren't on travellers interaries - some days you can have a whole beach mostly to yourself.

I did this in 2021 by motorcycle and it was amazing. I frequent sections of it occasionally when riding on weekends with mates. I never take being born and living in the North for granted.

Probably the best UA-cam video i have seen of my home area :) i guess as a Geordie we take all we have up here for granted and it takes the likes of these videos to showcase our part of the world, you crammed a lot in to this video but still missed an awful lot lol, did you venture onto st Marys island ? the rocks are usually home to a colony of Seals although with the lighthouse being worked on not sure if they would still hang around, it's a shame you never got that boat trip to the Farne islands, i think you would be well impressed with what i think is the largest Puffin colony in the UK and lastly, just aswell Bamburgh castle was closed as although dogs are welcome a lot of the indoor attractions do not allow dogs (such as the house etc). Loved this Robbie.

I started doing this a few years back when it was first announced, and amazing journey - some amazing views and less visited places. Worth it. Grateful that its not being sign posted like the NC500, as that has been incredibly successful, and at the same time brassed off a whole chunk of the population.

My home county is simply incredible, I've lived down in Yorkshire for ten years now, and every time a local says "This is gods own country" I challenge them every single time. Northumberland has so much to offer, so much more space, beautiful towns and villages and some of the best people on the planet.

France - would love to know how to find the local rules on clean air zones, parking, Aires?
