FANTASTIC end to a great series in Scotland! From Emma's dip is the freezing water to Alex and his sausage munching, and all of the beautiful scenery in between, you guys are the best! Thanks for taking us your journey. - Coreen
Skye is beautiful.... You're spot on about the Coral Beach.. On a warm sunny day the place is amazing, and the colours of the the beach and water are unforgettable... A few hours you will remember for the rest of your lives with utter clarity...
Alex- You have to try square or Lorne sausage in a fresh bread roll with HP sauce and a cold can of Irn Bru during a hangover. Instant cure👍🏴 Emma- you are a natural for presenting programmes like this. 😊👍 You two make great videos together. Keep them coming.😊
Your a brave lassie Emma going into a cold cold pool enjoyed another episode watching the two of you on your travels I’m happy that despite the weather you are still smiling your happiness is infectious ❤️
Square sausage and a sea eagle, Alex, you can die a happy man now(but don't, not yet). So glad you went for it Emma and got in that water. I got in a freezing cold lake on a hike when no one else would, it felt fantastic, so invigorating! Everyone needs to "take the plunge" in whatever it may be when the mood strikes, you just have to. Thanks for sharing more of Skye with us, loved it!
@@IanTed It's not where you steal it from it's where you take it, I think Billy has a different audience than Wainright (I was never a fan of his comedy .....).....lol
Full respect Emma for braving that icy water. Great video guys and a fantastic channel. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Very envious that you spotted a sea eagle 🦅 what a rare sight.
I was there 2 months before you! Did a 10 day trip.. half on Skye, half in Lochinver conquering Suilven. I had incredible sunny weather for the whole trip! All the places, you visited.. the coral beach, The Storr, Portree, The Quiraing… swum in the Fairy Pools.. even know that layby close to Dunvegan castle! One of the best trips of my life.. you have to go again in good weather!
Such a beautiful and magical place. Definitely going to the bucket list. So proud of you Emma, that water had to be freezing, but I bet you felt great afterwards. Thank you for taking us along. Be safe!🤗😘🌼🇻🇪
Your videos are such fun to watch and have really given me a desire to ditch the Caravan, get a CamperVan and explore our fantastic country. The idea of not knowing where the next day and night will take you, is a great way to discover ‘gems’ that might otherwise remain hidden, only known to the locals! Huge thumbs up to Emma for taking the plunge. We could feel that temperature through the screen! That thumbnail really captured the moment!👍🏻❤️👍🏻❤️👍🏻
I was expecting to see frozen nips , but I guess it was super cold , so instead we got major shrinkage. lol This was a great series - such troopers slogging thru the Scottish Sunshine.
WONDERFUL VIDEO. EMMA YOU HAVE THE MOST GIGGLY LAUGH WITH FULL OF HAPPINESS AND THE MOST INFECTIOUS AND GORGEOUS SMILE ON EARTH. ALEX, PLS DON'T GET JEALOUS NOW. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH WITH AN ETERNITY OF TOGETHERNESS.
That water, even in July.....is still That Cold! That look on your face.....the OMG!!! Look.....Perfect! Have enjoyed your videos in Scotland and seeing it through your eyes. Thank You.
Oban - Barra - Uist - Harris - Lewis - Ullapool - Loch Ness. Great route, best in the month of May. Good weather and very quiet at that time of year. Thanks for the vids from my homeland.
Now you need to plan a lowland trip!! I recommend Island of Mull, Stirling Castle, the island Inchcailloch in Loch Lomond (GORGEOUS), and my favorite... the hiking trails in Dollar Glen around Castle Campbell.
Skip the Fairy Pools and continue down Glen Brittle - when you reach the 'phone box and the houses head up the track to your left and visit Eas Mor - the highest falls on the island. The track seems to be nothing much but then the falls appear, dropping in a single cascade into a ravine.
I went to fairy pools early, was just me my dog and couple of other people it was amazing with no one around. But I wasn’t brave enough to get in the water. So well done to you. Bet it was bloody freezing. Hope ya enjoyed it.
Hehe brilliant film I'm fortunate to live near the Isle of Skye, and love seeing people enjoying the island, and iam so happy you aSkye blessed with a bit of magic that only Skye can provide, (Referencing the Sea eagle)
Wow so spot on with your reactions to the beauties of Scotland, and how great to spontaneously take a dip in your unmentionables. Thanks guys, from Cyprus.
I'm a little jealous of you square sausage,( man that sounds strange) it looked like what we call slice. Our Scottish butcher retired and the new one doesn't carry it. Nothing beats a breakfast of eggs, slice and black pudding. My search for slice continues.
You guys are just so full of life! Expressive of the sights and scenes, but also of your love for each other! Your joy spreads so contagiously to us your viewers. So thanks for the scenery that you have taken so much time to explore and enjoy and share. The fun of campervan life, roving without time limits, exploring around each corner, going further than the crowds to the unknown, the less crowded. Just enjoying your series as a late subscriber, but keep up the drone work and exploring. Have been to Scotland twice but not to the isles. Graeme, NZ
I have loved this series and am very sad to see it come to an end!!! You did a marvelous job of sharing some very awesome places and thank you for that!! Onward to more adventures and stay safe and happy!!!
I was literally talking at the screen when you were at the Fairy Pools to hike further away and you'll probably have it to yourselves - glad to see you discovered that on your own. Most people park in the paid lot, then walk a short distance, oooh and aaaah, get their photo ops and then take off. When we visited, our B&B host told us about the free car park someone else on here mentioned, so we hardly saw anyone when we visited (and we went in summer). I love all those places you visited and camped at, now I want to go back and see everything we missed on our too-short trip there.
Well done with getting in that water. My wife does the same and I have learnt that the expression to be wary of is “it is ok once you are in”. Translated this means it is bloody cold! Great series thanks, we hope to do the trip next spring, before the midges come out in earnest.
Y’all have quickly became our favorite UA-cam channel and stolen our hearts! So happy we found y’all and can’t wait to watch all your future endeavors!
Nothing beats Square sausage 😜 was lovley seeing my homeland in view Thank you for taking us along . Looking forward to to hearing about your next adventures/ travel plans 😜 Have a Great week take care 🥰
RESPECT Emma, I hate cold water too, I didn't used to but now I'm old you can't even get me in the sea in July! An island I must go to, in fact all of the islands I must go to!
emma that was fun in the fairy pool!! when me and my hubby went abroad for the first time we skinny dipped in the pool and got caught we got into trouble with the police ....we can laugh now...it was fun and i'd do it again!!!
I've loved watching this series and I'm looking forward to seeing what you both get up to next. Congratulations on taking a dip in the icy waters Emma and Alex it did look like you were able to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights
Hi guys Thanks for sharing your Scotland Road trip I take my hat off to Emma for going into the fairy pools when I was there I wanted to do the same but the water was freezing and I couldn’t get myself to do it so well done Emma Have a safe trip home and I look forward to seeing your next adventure Cheers Colin 👍
That's the Northern Lights! Speaking from Alaska, having seen them every year. If you'd only had a clear sky, you could've really seen them. (Ours here are usually green, farther north they are multi-colored.)
It has been an amazing series & you guy’s have really excelled. Certainly my favourite travel Vloggers with your wit, charm and sensational photography. Well done Emma & Alex 👏👏👏👏
Really Really loved your Scotland Vlogs!! You two have a wonderful manner about you with such warm expressive personalities. Waiting for delivery of our first van next March, it’s a Fiat Ducato with a pop top, you really do make van life adventures look like such dreamy freedom. Me and the Mrs can’t wait to get out there and explore with our little Yorkshire terrier, Daisy. I love all the lovely wild camping spots you find. Keep up the fantastic work guys!! xxx
If you're a cheapskate like me there's a free car park about a 10-15 min walk up the hill from the Fairy Pools. Great little mini-series from Skye, what an incredible place!
New and now subscribed! Really enjoy your vlog. And yes, that was a tiny bit of the northern lights. We’ve spend a good deal of time in the northern part of the U.S. state of Wisconsin and have seen the lights many times. Typically they are of that greenish hue in our area. Stay safe and warm!
I fell for Skye watching the channel Photography Online where they take us to the most remote areas that are overlooked by tourists. They run photography courses and expeditions. Your enthusiasm for the island confirms the beauty.
Wow!! Emma going into the COLD water of the fairy pool was very brave thing to do.👩 So best to do the Isle of Skye in the summer?🏖 Thanks for sharing your road trip of the coast of Scotland. Love your videos Cheers ☕☕☕☕🧔🧔
Steak aquare you got the cheap ones.!!! Loads of brown sauce and a good Morton Roll , plus loads of Ba Bro (Irn Bru) that was my ultimate hangover cure when I was a boy! Now its a treat!!!
Fun video guys.. Trying to catch up on all your content still! I would go to that beach in Winter.. That was cold water coraline algae that you had in your hand. The European Shelf which the UK site on is surrounded by cold water coral systems.. And these are just as important as tropical coral reef systems for providing a sink for carbon!.. I visited some years ago in Irland on a geology field trip... To still work in geoscience and climate research. "there is no bad weather, just bad clothes" 😊
So glad I found you two in my recommended box cause UA-cam KNEW I was gonna love this channel! Keep up the great work guys! Looking forward to the next adventures!
Get charcoal sack packs on Amazon and put them around the van. They will absorb all the moisture. Also, square sausages in New Jersey and Philadelphia are called Scrapple. Hi from Texas!
Ooph! Well done on that dip. Rather you than me. Did something similar (well us Scottish guys did) when we skinny dipped in a freezing mountain river in the Urals after my son's wedding. The Russians thought we were nuts! Glad you're a fan of Scotland. I need to visit more islands myself. Saw a golden eagle perched (all too briefly!) as I cycled across Islay a few years ago. Happy days! Atb, Terry
Emma getting her kit off always creates more views, not that I'm complaining.
Emma is such a doll!!! Her smile and energy are truly infectious! 🤗🤗
Definitely crazy going into the fairy pool!
FANTASTIC end to a great series in Scotland! From Emma's dip is the freezing water to Alex and his sausage munching, and all of the beautiful scenery in between, you guys are the best! Thanks for taking us your journey. - Coreen
Emma you are the bomb!! We all need to push ourselves into those experiences that call to us. You go girl!
Skye is beautiful.... You're spot on about the Coral Beach.. On a warm sunny day the place is amazing, and the colours of the the beach and water are unforgettable... A few hours you will remember for the rest of your lives with utter clarity...
Emma - massive respect for getting in that freezing water! Good on you. Really cool
I’m sure showing the body off for views had nothing to do with it.
Alex- You have to try square or Lorne sausage in a fresh bread roll with HP sauce and a cold can of Irn Bru during a hangover. Instant cure👍🏴

Or few clothes in Emma’s case 😂
I strongly disagree. Or never found the right clothes 😒
Was actually Wainwright, Billy pinched it😜

You’re braver than I am Emma! I got the chills just watching you get into that icy cold mountain stream.
11/10 Hero points for getting into that water. Great job - bet you don't regret it. Cool series - thanks for getting out there and sharing your story.

Emma & Alex...a Sea Eagle in the UK...that is about as cool to find as a red squirrel...really jealous...good for you!!!
Emma is a legend, looked bloody freezing👏👏
!!!!TALISKER!!!!! My favorite!!! If I spent a day sharing Talisker with Beans, I would die happy.

Emma in the cold water reminded me of water survival school at NAS Pensacola in Pensacola Bay in the middle of January: COLD..!

Sea Eagle that's amazing!!! Don't hate wet weather it tends to bring out the wild life
Very brave up in Scotland cold water dipping. Motivation for me to start cold water swimming before Christmas in England.
