It is the wonderful place you describe. We did Oban to Barra and then travelled hopping the islands all the way to North Lewis and then back to Ullapool. 2011 I think with our motorhome. Fondly remember that trip. Well done Robbie ❤
Thank you sir, it's truly a special place!
Thanks for sharing this, Robbie! We're currently planning our own trip for this Easter so lots of inspiration here! Awesome! N&Nx
@@grapesodatravels best of luck I hope you have a great adventure 👍
Did the NC500 last September and considering the Outer Hebrides this coming September. I have fond memories of visiting Benbecula many times with the army in my youth. Great video.
Thank you 🙏
Beautiful just stunning, I'm fortunate enough to have done all The Outer Hebrides inc St Kilda and you captured and described it brilliantly Robbie, and to think its the UK , no wonder people travel from across the globe to experience it, cheers bud, I look for to your Barra experience, I've done it by ferry and flight, landing on that beach is a truly unique experience 👍 👏
@@robertalan3214 it is such a unique and special place and thank you for commenting / watching 🙏☺️
I went to lewis and Harris last year, and next year I'm going to north/south uist and a few of the other Isles. The scenery is amazing, the most beautiful places I have ever been to. I hope in years to come to move there
@@andybayne2738 I can’t agree more it’s absolutely spectacular 🤩 good luck with your next trip there 👍
Brilliant video. We love the heb's and visit every year. No pictures or words can really do justice to the jaw dropping beauty of these amazing islands.

Hey Robbie,
We’re new subscribers and already big fans of your channel! We're fellow full-time travelers, planning a trip through the UK next year-Cornwall to the Highlands is the dream-and we found your channel while doing some research.
We’d heard the Outer Hebrides was a great spot for golf, but after watching your videos, we’re even more excited to visit!
Keep up the amazing work!

Thank you guys and welcome - that sounds like one hell of a trip 🌍👍
😅wonderful reminded of the time we visited the outer hebrides 18 months ago. Our road took us 3.5 weeks visiting just about every corner of the islands. As you describe just stunning deserted beaches around every turn Got the itch now to return to our favourite spots.
It’s such a unique and wonderful place isn’t it? 😊☺️
New to your channel but absolutely love the way you film your travels ! A great balance between information and amazing pictures and film !!
Loved the wales one and nc500
Thankyou

Incredible you’ll have a fantastic trip 😊👍
Another great video and guide mate. Thankyou. Must be quite painful for you to see both dogs together loving it so much. Just keep remember what a lovely life you gave him 🐾. Hope your both doing ok pal
@@Ownedbymydogs thanks mate yeah it was a tricky one editing this together but I do have some really special memories from the trip 👍
Great video - been thinking about this trip - bought the book 👍
Thanks Chris! It’s a wonderful part of the world ☺️👍
Well done Robbie, excellent film. Best beaches on the planet, especially Bosta on Great Bernera, where you had an overnight stay, just a few miles from my father's family home in Crulivig. Just a wee hint, the correct way to pronounce Gaelic in Scotland is Ga-lic. In Ireland it is pronounced Gay-lic. Your Outer Hebrides book is on order, looking forward to it.
Thank you ☺️
Great video again Robbie well done 👏
@@graham_ozzy thanks Graham ☺️🙏
Superb video. Thank you. Plenty of ideas in there!
@@alanbenham4139 thanks for watching Alan 🥳
We went in June/July so it'll be interesting to see how many places we missed
@@JoVincent-k9w awesome ☺️
Great video 🎉🎉🎉
What is the song called you used around 17 mins?
Thanks Richard
Just ordered your book. How easy are the ferries with a campervan and dogs?We are thinking of doing this trip in April/May or October.
@@CampervanTales very easy / pain free, the dogs will join you upstairs in the pet lounge, I’d definitely take them a blanket or bed to lie on up there though as the floor is a bit hard.
@robbieroams thankyou
Hi are you doing a book about these islands ?
Absolutely - robbieroams.com/product/outer-hebrides-guide-book-road-trip-outer-hebrides-by-robbie-roams/

Oooh do it! @robbieroams we spent a month exploring North to South. Utterly brilliant!
@@davidballer7311do it! We spent a month there and it was the trip of our lives!
Hi Robbie, just bought this guide book. It has jumped UK borders to Germany. Quick question. At 2:17, I think you accidentally may have labeled the beach incorrectly. Is this really Traigh Mhor or somewhere else, if so, where? ua-cam.com/video/ODEmxzdQI9s/v-deo.html
Many thanks
Yes this is Traigh Mhor on the Isle of Lewis, there are multiple Traigh Mhor’s in the Outer Hebrides (it means big beach).
@@robbieroams fantastic! Thanks for the fast reply,
Some of your video is ok. Some of it is way overcooked. Over-saturated? I don't know quite what you have done to it but you have certainly made it worse. Unfortunate, because other than the photography, it is quite a decent video. In parts, the colours look nothing like the islands. I know, because I live there.
