Rejoice! SmallRig really messed up their cage for the 6700 in my opinion with the single slanted hot shoe mount. The color on the Ulanzi is so unique! Reminds me armor (from videogames/anime).
this Falcam cage is badly designed because it is NOT compatible with the Falcam quick release system ! For example if you have a monitor or a microphone or any accessory with a standard 1/4 screw mounting hole, you can't fix it onto this cage with the Falcam quick release plates. Instead, you are dependent for each accessory to buy the specific corresponding adapter (such as for example the monitor mount shown in this video) which ruins the whole oncept of modularity. I discovered this purchasing the cage and a couple of quick release plates thinking I would be able to mount a monitor and a microphone, but it simply does not work. Furthermore, note that the cage's mounting rails are not arca swiss compatible and are much smaller (22mm) while Falcam's quick release plates are 38 mm...Incredibly confusing on Falcam's part. Hope this will save others not to purchase incompatible parts.

which one do you think better between smallrig cage and falcam cage for A6700?
Would Love to hear this as Well, smallrig seems to be more ergonomic
@@m.d.6649If you got Falcam f38 devices, ulanzi Falcam is better, otherwise just buy Smallrig it makes my hands feel good😂
I don't find it very convenient that you have to put the fan on and the screen gets in the way of the handle, other than that the rig is looking good
Please put a link for the monitor

design looks pretty poor for usability tbh
In what regards, I might be able to change your mind. Since trying out the Falcam system It hasn't come off my camera.
