Maybe it's because I moved there from South Florida, but I really enjoyed and was pleasantly surprised by Cleveland when I lived there for 2.5 years. The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is cool as are the Flats (which have since been renovated) and nearby Cedar Point. Maybe it's because I moved there from South Florida, but I really enjoyed and was pleasantly surprised by Cleveland when I lived there for 2.5 years. The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is cool as are the Flats (which have since been renovated) and nearby Cedar Point.
Ironically enough, I moved from Cleveland to Detroit and I can confirm that Detroit is, in fact, Detroit.
Cedar Point is splendid. Though it's as much Toledo's as it is Cleveland's.
I did the opposite I moved from just outside Cleveland (was about a 20 minute drive, I went to Cleveland pretty often) to South Florida. I really liked Cleveland but that might’ve just been because I was a dumb kid lol. Best part of Cleveland was probably going to cavs games with LeBron back in the day

well out of our money that we spent in Cleveland except for the art museum most of it was spent at (what was perceived to be) small businesses, which i wouldn't mind visiting again and The people we talked to on the street were (seemingly) nice. which is a plus, the video does over negatively down the city and failed to show the good parts (as is the joke) but in a generalization,correct not all but alot was eroded, decrepit, and shut down, all of the sights we came to see were no longer there so we just went exploring.

At that point in time, Cleveland did rock. NAFTA butt fucked northeast Ohio in general. Within 10 years the entire region died. Used to be that you could work in a steel mill or factory of some sort and make a solid living with nice stuff. Hell in Akron you could work for any of the rubber companies and be a single income household of 4-5 AND have whatever toys you wanted.
Then Globalization murdered that and started America on a downward spiral into a dual class economy. If you weren't already rich, you stood little chance of even becoming non poor. You can still see some upward movement, but it takes a couple generations of everyone working themselves to death.
Trade deals are not beneficial to the average person. Don't support any trade agreements. If you do, eventually we all become Cleveland
