Stunning collection! My IWC Pilot chronometer 41 mm in black is my workhorse watch for daily wear at the office and receives more compliments than my Rolexes, Omegas, and Breitlings. It's a simple and beautiful dial.

Newbie here, interested in IWC Big Pilot watch.
I'm just wondering, why is the BP 43mm is more expensive than the BP Chrono 41mm? the 41mm Chrono is more complicated with day, date, chronograph functions.
Is there any difference in quality in the movement, or is it just because the BP 43mm is their most famous model, so it is priced higher?
Basically, yes. But they do claim the movement is more sophisticated and better decorated.
Do you feel any pressure to buy at these private watch events?

The name of the watch family is based on its history. They were created for two portuguese Sailors in the 30s or 40s. You can find the detailed story on their website.

IWC is short for I Want Crap. Big pilot, small pilot, medium pilot, son of big pilot, same watches just different sizes. All are unwearable. The crown is hideous. Poor resale value, poor customer service, and poor quality. Other than that IWC is on par with Rolex and PP.
