Actually I had never seen the video to this song but I enjoyed it. The name of the actor playing Papá is Danny Aiello who amongst his many roles played the pizza shop owner in Do The Right Thing. He passed away in 2019. 🙏🏽✌🏽❤️

When I was in my mid-30's a long time ago, Madonna was my favorite female singer and this song will always be one of my favorites from her. "Dress You Up' is another one of my top 5 Madonna songs. I had a 12 year old daughter back then and I was hoping I would never have to preach. LOL. Thanks for this video, I still watch my favorite Madonna videos once in awhile. I also got 20+ songs in mp3 format on my phone.

It's one of my favorite MaDonna songs. Fell in love with it when I heard. Actually, I could relate to it. I fell in love with the handsome bad boy. It went very badly for me. That's ok. Memories! Such a catchy song, but not without controversy. The video is cinematic and shows off her acting abilities here. Funny, how so many today think the "baby" in the lyrics refers to her boyfriend rather than to her unborn child. BTW, I think Celine Dion did a parody of this video back in the day. I remember when this came out the Catholic Church condemned it. The Catholic Church. Notorious for being against abortion. But instead of seeing the actual message, they declared Madonna was actively encouraging teenagers to get pregnant. 🙄
