    it's fantastic that someone is finally addressing the over consumption of carbs in a vegan diet. i too believed the crap freelee and durianrider have been saying about carb the f)&% up and gained a layer of fat that i never had before in my life. i have since reduced my overall calories and switched to eating more means and legumes and less potatoes and fruit - although I do eat fruit each day - just not 1000's of calories of it. thank you so much for your videos. your view counts show that people are listening because so many people have been let down by freelee and ended up getting blamed for their weight gain for some mystery metabolic damage theory.

    Can't wait for the rest in this series. Although in my case I was able to gain some fat% at the start of the winter by measured over-eating and I already lost about the same % at the beginning of spring. I've been using your checklist when meal prepping. I don't really calorie restrict, I mostly increase activities and I don't over-eat.

    Just wanted to thank you for all the efforts you put into your videos and website. It has helped me so much. I have just one friendly advice. There is so much potential in your content that can be expanded even more if your visual identity is well (even professionally) designed, positioned and marketed the right way. Don't underestimate the power of that, it can bring you really a lot. Of course it is not expected from you to know how to do these things, you're already awesome and so knowledgable on other fields. Just search some design help or if you don't want to, just keep everything visual really simple and consistent. Visual consistency will give you recognition.
    Anyway, I love you so much, thank you once again. :)

Keep the videos coming! More people need to see how simple it can be and that you don't have to be a full time athlete like them to be thin. If they weren't working out like slaves they would be huge with the amount of calories they consume. lol.

    What are your thoughts on brown rice syrup as a sweetener? It is essentially free of fructose which bad (unless present in fruit), but seems to have a really high GI? Hi Sabby, I love your Videos, ❤ Thank you for bringing this information to me. It's refreshing to here te science behind the food and how it works in our body. 👍You are a great teacher.☝ I am a vegan and I am always learning how I can improve my health. You are truly Awsome. ✌ Have ever done a meet up in your area. People who want to learn more may be interested. Or a 2 day weekend retreat where people can come and listen to your talks about food and nutrition. 👌 You could get other microvours to help you organise and run it. 😄 👩👨👧👦💁👴👵 Sounds like it would be better than going to Woodstock or riding a bike to Tyland. 👌 I am so impressed with you. 😄😁 Keep up the good work. You are giving the world the CORRECT information they need about food. 😄 Sending you best wishes from me here in the UK and from the Most High God. 💜💙

    if you're insulin resistant and over weight, you probably want to avoid carbohydrates even if its complex with fiber. You can't reverse type 2 diabetes with a high carbohydrate diet. I fully believe in high fat low carb.

  • @woodelf5909
    @woodelf5909 8 років тому +1

    I agree with most of thing, but I have to disagree with some. While I agree that fructose and singular glucose can from fruit and refined sugar can easily overload glycogen and be stored as fat, while food starches like potatoes and brown rice with long chain glucose, fiber, and rich micronutrients are very satiating and are released very slowly. I just don't see how when eating normally with these foods along with green veggies could be a fat gain diet. Most starch solution followers do lose weight. People like Swayze (Unnatural Vegan) when claiming to follow the starch solution actually consumed quite a bit of oil and processed food, and she just maintained her weight. What're you're thoughts on this?

    • @woodelf5909
      @woodelf5909 8 років тому +1

    • @eliisekabel2708
      @eliisekabel2708 8 років тому

      When you'd consume that much rice like freelee then it's bad news . Also 10 avocados aren't good idea too if you're doing rawtill4 or high carb low fat vegan diet . Avocado also has sugars so it's okay . I once did experiment with avocados . I ate only avocados ( with tomato , salt , paprika and herbs ) for 3 days ( everyday I consumed about 1.5 kg of avocados ) . I didn't gain weight at all . I got diarrhea xd heheh . But normal size of rice and avocado toping or avocado aside is very fine ;)

  • @HighCarbDiabeticV

    The problem with what you are saying is that people who eat the highest amount of carbs have the highest rates of insulin sensitivity. That is why high carb diabetics are so sensitive to insulin and end up needing less. When people change and increase the amount of fat the actual amount of insulin needed increases.

    • @SteveSmekar-ll6ln
      @SteveSmekar-ll6ln 8 років тому

      I am totally interested in how "high carbs" diet, like fruitarian or 80/10/10 actually affects the diabetic. I think this woman has some good info, but I think that "carb the f*** up" is good for a person as long as they add healthy modes of exercise and other lifestyle changes.

    • @HighCarbDiabeticV
      @HighCarbDiabeticV 8 років тому

      Steve Smekar I think people need to not confuse high carb with excess carb. Two different things.

    • @HighCarbDiabeticV

      Steve Smekar Excess carbs as in more carbs than you need. High carb doesn't mean excess carb.

    Thank you for this video, I notice you look happier and with more energy in the latest videos and I like that a lot!. I must say from experience what you explain makes total sense, I used to eat processed food most of the times (Biscuits, Cupcakes etc), meat and dairy, also butter and few fruits and vegetables and had a lot of body fat, even with exercise, but when I cut out processed food and replaced my fat with nuts and avocado I can eat more of them and I even notice a weight loss, in mi case I lost 10Kg in 6 months, and of course cutting off meat and dairy products and including fruits and vegetables daily with my meals, and I also feel my digestion improved 100%. I have been trying to get my family on board with this lifestyle but it is very difficult, any advice?
