It's interesting to see MP4 and MOV as a single choice. When I take videos with my iPhone, they are saved as in the MOV file format. The problem that I have is that a friend of mine is unable to watch MOV files. Just for the hell of it, one day I just changed the file name extension from MOV to MP4 and they were able to watch the video. What's going on ? If I use Handbrake to do the conversion, the resulting MP4 file is close to twice as large.

I've changed the file extension before and it sometimes works. Sometimes a converted file can be bigger depending on the settings. You can play around with the bit rates, sample rates, frame rates etc and decrease the file size.

I tried to save a UA-cam video using VLC but it would not play the video link from UA-cam. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
