Some extra detail into what is happening here: xmedia recode is a front end for ffmpeg. Changing the file container format without reencoding it is called "remuxing". So this video is showing you how to remux mkv to mp4 with ffmpeg + a GUI front end. It can also be done in command line, but the speed should be roughly the same.

wow, had the settings to convert... and well my cpu was burining and it had to konvert for an hour... then this man came and changed 100% CPU to 10% and 45min into 25 sec this works and I recomend it to everyone thanks randome indian guy, this was a huge help ;)

The only issue I seem to be having is with trying to batch add too many to the queue; even though the video/audio said 'copy' when I started the job, the first item was taking far too long 'converting' with the "Avg FPS" showing a result. Starting over and adding each item to the queue at a time, then the items ran without any result in the Avg FPS column, and it was as fast as in the video, even for 3gb+ files.

It worked but my TV still did not recognize the new mp4 file so I found a workaround. When in the video tab keep it as "convert" instead of changing it to "copy" and leave all other video settings below that alone. When in audio click "copy" like you described and follow all your other instructions. The conversion this way takes 4 times longer but in the end the resulting video file plays in everything for me now and I can't tell any major quality difference. Thank you for the video!
Yes I have experienced this too. The most likely the reason is you (like me) 'copied' a x265 codec into mp4. MP4 & MKV can support both the x264 & the newer x265 codec, TV's (even in 2022) tend not to support the x265 codec. Hence the need to convert a x265 file to x264 and not simply do a 'copy' of the video codec.

As an alternate, just right lick on the 64-Bit download button and select "Open link in new Tab". It'll start downloading !!

You should show a full editing tutorial such as where you get your clips from. Audio and pre match commentary. How you add clips and chop out clips👍🏾

I had 3 videos, one was 11 hours, one was 7 hours, and one was 2 hours. Took 7 hours total to convert them all. Totally worth it!
