Bro.. I’m so glad you spoke on that post-baptism period because it is so humbling, it gets REAL. Mate I gave my life to Christ in August 2018, I was feeling myself! I changed drastically, I was on FIRE the zeal I had was amazing, September rolls around I get baptised and no one can tell me nothing me and God are on cloud 9, little did I know my life was about to become the worse it had ever been. The trials were so crazy I couldn’t even fathom them, my mental health was in the gutter, my relationship with my family got worse, 7 months after giving my life to Christ my little sister (my heart and joy, my literal everything) dies randomly in March 2019 and things just kept getting worse and worse. BUT GOD! In every single one of those trials I saw His hand upon my life, may have not been how I wanted it to be but He was there even when I wasn’t! I’m not about to share my whole testimony here but let’s just say I hold onto Psalms 91 and John 10:10 with my literal life because when I needed it the most God showed up even when I was running from Him. So thank you once again for being real and raw about this journey because no two days looks the same with Christ. This even has me reflecting on my own journey, I woke up so much anxiety today but wow. God bless you Phil😊

God knows and sees everything! His love never changes and his arms are ALWAYS open for you and his children! That anxiety ain’t of you or God, Every time that comes in, all it is is fear and God didn’t give us one bit of it. You are enough! 🤍💯🙏🏽

When my mother passed I was at peace with it at first but also found myself keeping myself busy with worldly things. Until it was all taken away I found myself grieving her loss YEARS later. I really became a woman who I never thought I would have been because of every loss I’ve endured. Truly GROWING through what we GO through. Have you watched “The Chosen”? It’s sooo good, I’ve cried at least 3 times and I’m only on episode 5, lol. It could be a form of bible study for you (take notes and open your ears so the spirit can speak to you). I always feel like I have to be without sin to even turn it on-God says come as you are, so enjoy that time with Him while you watch it. No matter what you did or thought before you turned it on.
