I would recommend going to Italy but not by yourself. Memories are created with other ( maybe take your brother ), also stay in italy till new years. New years day is so special.
Anyway, there are towns and cities i would say are worth visiting.
List of towns: Bergamo, Lake Garda, Milan, Verona, Florence and Rome.
I have been there a couple times, and every time i go back its even better than the last. The italians i met at restaurants, airbnbs or in stores were all really friendly despite the language barrier. Being a black South African, i never experienced any discrimination or rudeness…okay maybe when driving, italian roads are crazy! 🌸

Good morning Phil. If you really want to go to a place that has great Christmas vibes Quebec City in Quebec Canada is amazing. Super easy to get there just take Air Canada from Orlando to Montreal and connect there to Quebec City. Same thing coming back down to Florida
