Soooo you see a trucking two hundred yards away and hit the breaks then say "What' this guy doing!?!?" Happens in almost all his video that I have seen. SMH.
I've noticed you back up better when you park between two other trucks then when you have a wide open space. I do realize stuff was in the way this time though. Good job.
When you get into spots like that wen u delivered the card board man you just gotta slow down look at the situation don't over think it just go for it....have a plan and execute it the more you over think the better chance of screwing up you have, and remember nice and easy quit sawing the wheel so much
He didnt realize he could have swung to the right and turned left towards the docks and circled around like that....that would have been the easiest by far....but hes too worried about things that "could" happen....but never will lol
I have never seen someone complain about almost every time they have to dock.. that wasn’t even a hard dock. You complain all the time and act like everything is so hard, why are you still a truck driver?
I just don’t understand why you go too far to the front. I understand thats good for rookies but man you exaggerate on the distance. There is plenty of space to back up without having to go so many feet ahead.
27:31 Air smelling like salt, pepper, and garlic is definitely not a sign of toxic air. If it was toxic, you would experience coughing, dizziness, fatigue, and headaches.
I understand driving a tractor trailer is tough, but the amount of groaning and moaning and complaining ,you do like Ray Romano, makes me really wonder what would happen if you were driving a manual. It seems like you are pushing the truck instead of driving it. But one thing I can be sure of if I hire you, both the truck and the load is gonna be safe. Late but safe. And what's wrong with the cemetery in the back? Those folk give you no trouble.
@@JN10NL that's why these mega carriers are training people in automatics, they know those drivers can't jump ship to a smaller/better company that only has manuals.
Not trying to talk bad but idk how you stress about backing when you have so much room around you. I get trying to be safe but you worry about it too much that it’s clouding your judgement.
How is it with a GPS he never knows where he is? He worries too much about his trailer matching his truck, gloves and hand sanitizer, “Where you going?” How long has he been driving and still he isn’t proficient in backing. Like another comment, why are you still driving?
It surprises me he works for this company, they are one of the highest paying for company drivers in dry van as far as I'm aware. That first dock was so easy. At least he admitted he misjudged it because the flatbed was there so it didn't let him get the "perfect" setup
@scottdawe7412 Not really, because, according to most of the stans and gatekeepers on this channel, this comment is a straight up form of attack and is bullying and hate. And if you're not going to kiss the UA-cam's ass you shouldn't leave a comment at all in their Opinions, but it's like that on almost every youtube channels nowadays.😅
Empty truck weight with trailer is 17 ton so your load is only about 20 ton, that is like driving a empty truck. That is nice,we carry 56 ton total weight with truck (112000lbs).
This guy does nothing right if you watching him and you thinking about doing trucking, it’s not as hard as he makes it look and he does a lot of unnecessary shit and say wrong shit hopefully you not watching to learn from him
He is a you tuber and he does this 💩 to get you guys to comment… the more comments and interactions a video gets the stronger his algorithm and the more he makes. Look at how many followers and how many views his videos get. He posts a few bad turns and the comments pile in. Again he’s a trucker for UA-cam content. 😅
hello i really appriciate what you guys do out there i ben watching your videos since your last company and i been noticing that in this videos sometimes the sound cuts off idk if it its my computer or your gopro
And I'm not understanding why you shut your truck off every single time you get out of your truck, it literally makes no sense that's just more ware n tear in your starter
Cuz he's not a truck driver he is just a delivery boy who complains alot and don't know alot of the truck he drive, if he don't do youtube he probably got fired way back because he always late at deliveries
@@im_keinylOkay genius what is the definition of truck driver? You pick up loads of merchandise and take it to another location then you pick-up another load and to another location. You do that over and over
@@im_keinylHe's the trucking company's dream driver. He takes pride in his job, takes care of the equipment including keeping it clean. He does his job very well. There are a few legends in their own mind that love to mock him.
Alex, you could have somewhat blindsided and corrected a few times into a straight back. I told you once, I’ll tell you again. Sometimes you have to just trust yourself. You had more than enough room
You didn’t think about the nose dive cause your not experienced enough….and that comes with time ……also you can disconnect the air lines with the truck on as long as your knobs are pulled out
Okay let’s be honest I’m not trying to be a dick or a super trucker I’ve only been doing it for two years. But that first dock in the beginning of this video he had plenty of space he’s just picky.
All companies pay fuel if you’re an employee and using their truck. It’s an auto. You see him shifting P/R/D with his right hand on a wiper/blinker arm.
So funny how people are complaining and whining like five year old little girls but still over here watching his videos. 😂 Did you know you could watch something else? There are other channels you know! 🤷🏻♀️🤪
Lol Isn't it funny how there are so many people on UA-cam who feel it's their job to come on to these channels and defend. UA-camrs like stans and Gatekeepers from the bad mean horrible nasty commenters.😂 Did you know there are other channels that you could go defend? After all there are plenty of other channels that need gate keepers🤣🤪🙊
I don’t see too many people outright attacking him. Criticising, sure, but usually criticising and explaining how to do it better. He’s very indecisive when reversing and in parking and it wastes a heap of time. If you don’t challenge yourself and try more difficult things you don’t improve.
Same content, different day! Every single video is the exact same. Backing up to receiver, quick shot at fuel island or truck stop, then pulling up to deliver another load. And he no longer replies to comments (now that he achieved a certain number of subscribers). Bottom line, he is making money off of the same dreary content day after day. His videos used to be entertaining at one time.
What's up Alex? Can we get more footage of actual driving? Even if it's sped up, I would like to see more turns, especially in cities. I follow your channel and watch a lot of your videos because I am a recent graduate startting a new job soon and I gain a lot of valuable experience from your videos. I just don't get to see many town/city driving clips from a first person point of view. Keep up the good work and just know you are driving way better than a lot of the guys I've seen so far. And then you got a whole channel devoted to "bonehead truckers" too.
I've never seen a truck driver, wear gloves and wash his hands every time and be afraid of walking through a puddle. Alex is certainly not a typical truck driver.
Dude you have so much room in that lot to park. You need to really focus on your backing skills at this point and stop being afraid of it. I had to learn how to blindside back as part of an account I was on, you just do it.
If any trucks move an inch when he’s trying to dock it throws him off. Your not the only driver in the world buddy
Soooo you see a trucking two hundred yards away and hit the breaks then say "What' this guy doing!?!?" Happens in almost all his video that I have seen. SMH.
@carlbeckman7606 probably a habit he picked up from the isolation. Hes got nobody to talk to but himself
I've noticed you back up better when you park between two other trucks then when you have a wide open space. I do realize stuff was in the way this time though. Good job.
Is it just me or did the audio keep cutting in out? Safe driving alex!
Was thinking the same thing.
What did you say ? lol
No, the constant blinker noise is causing you to experience hearing loss.
There's no audio in several parts of the video.
I hate it when videos are silent.
Maybe he is saying some words that are not UA-cam approved?
@@MrCrazycook8 more than likely it has to do with company approval. He's likely better being safe, than sorry.
The stress of a heavy load? Well he should try a 350+ ton Rock Tk.
The Mike was cutting out, maybe not plug in good
“If I don’t turn the truck off all the air gonna spray” no guy it will only spray if the trailer brake lever is push it
Dude set up for a straight back and still messed up 🤦🏻♂️ 😂
The cemetery is the final resting place for drivers who tried the Old School Truck Stop's meatloaf surprise.

You have to stop complaining about everything
nothing like the flashers blinking to start the video
I have never seen someone complain about almost every time they have to dock.. that wasn’t even a hard dock. You complain all the time and act like everything is so hard, why are you still a truck driver?
That dock is easy to get to he just complaining at this point. I still support him but dang
Yeah that dock looked pretty easy
Pull forward towards the doc loop around right back in piece of cake
Brutally painful to watch, but somehow entertaining.
Too long...
This one was relatively easy. You should see the difficult ones. Also, check out 'The Joy of Trucking' w/Kevin in them.
I agree with you completely. He continues to mess up and frustrates you to all heck, but I keep watching.
I just don’t understand why you go too far to the front. I understand thats good for rookies but man you exaggerate on the distance. There is plenty of space to back up without having to go so many feet ahead.
Hey Alex! Don 't beat yourself up over docking! You are a Pro and doing great! Bill NYPD Retired 😊
You have no confidence in your ability. You give up to early, never say you cant do something before you try it.

Never slide your tandems until you're lined up in front of your door
Some receivers make you slide them before they even let you past the guard shack
Even though it makes a wider turn radius, sometimes having the tandems back helps to better guide the rear of the trailer into the hole.
Sometimes I think Alex is a youtuber and not a trucker.
He will be in time.
Just ask another driver to back your truck in for you.
I been telling you to get backing lessons with riding with j. You still look like in your rookie days 🫡

The power steering does not make it easy enough for him to turn the wheel, hence he groans and strains to turn it while backing in.
6:41 uh no? Truck being on doesn't cause the air to leak out. You not setting your trailer brakes causes air to leak.
