Thank-you. I love those little details. Mine were always hit or miss. ...Tightest one I ever did was when this guy larger than me body slammed me twice. The 3rd time i jumped into it and spun with the direction that he was turning to put me down. That facilitated the armtriangle position by elevating me and holding me chest to chest making him top heavy while allowing me to reach my arm around the back of his head. We spun a full 360° rather than a 180°. He lost his footing and we fell until reconnecting w the ground w me landing in a mounted arm triangle. The force of that landing made the arm triangle possibly the tightest submission I ever achieved.
This channel stands out from all the others, why u ask, because all the sneaky sick techniques the master blessing us with👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 I'd love to be you student.
Hello professor Malachy ! Technically you are absolutely right and your way to teach it is pure genius, but I don't agree with your first part the Mata Leao grip matters because with that and the bone of your forarm do you know what you attack ? That's right that's maybe not beautiful but you attack the cervicals and when placed correctly it's extremely painful and can make people tap quicker in competition which can save your energy for your next fight but overall makes it a more devastating submission, I had a guy 2 days ago blue belt master in pancrace and let me tell you his arm triangle even inside the close guard were absolutely terrifying because he rocked your head looking up and you could feel his forarm bone dislocating your cervical with an excrutiating pain if you didn't tap to that would be wheelchair or instant death for sure so the least I can do is share the tip with you, your work is incredible and that's coming from someone with over 30000$ worth of bjj content i hope you keep doing what you do thanks a lot ! ❤️
A good tip a purple belt told me (white belt) that to finish a head and arm choke bring your elbows in like you do with a strait ankle lock before you look away
Exactly what i needed. I am a big white belt with a judo background and yesterday i had a brown belt it that position and just held him there for 5 minutes because i couldn't finish the choke.
Well first of all the principle of tork is not possible to be involved in the realities of the submission in his secondary move because the opposition can escape from it by way of the reverse of his elbow motion by pushing it down...
The tough thing I've found with head and arm triangles is that you can't see what the opponent is doing. You could be burning out your arms while they're framing off of their jaw and thinking about what to order for lunch afterwards.
I’m a white belt so belittle me if I deserve it. But I went to one practice with a buzz and started closing my eyes while rolling. It gave me a great understanding of how someone wants to behave without any visual ques. Also I believe it’s not a good arm triangle if you can’t get their head turned away. 10th planet has a good video on this concept. Definitely can submit someone without it but boy does it make it quicker.
Points at shoulder, says elbow. Never let them know your next move
nah but I do this too sometimes, I don’t blame him. I can’t explain how this happens
When your tenant is late with the rent
Jew Jitsue
My favorite sub, thank you for this breakdown I’ve been missing a step!
Thanks! Often I’ve burnt my arms out just cranking and cranking, can’t wait to give this a go.
Giggity.

This is a FANTASTIC detail, Professor. I'm actually embarrassed at how long it took to finally click for me. LOL!
Very well and simply explained! 👍🇮🇪

Thank you
I’m cleaning up my game so much with your videos
Ty i needed this
As an old-school Jujutsu / Judo guy, I approve this message! Awesome details! 👍
Very useful helped me finish this more
Thanks, professor!
Naah i swear that first one works for me better bro

Ur telling me the triangle Islam hit on Olivera was poor technique? Ok bro
thats not what he meant, the point is how your hands are locked doesnt matter like the choking arm does
Well said.

Make sure to whisper a lullaby into their ear for maximum effectiveness
i’m going to need to know who gave you a wristwatch pass

Let your partner work man. If you can't finish the triangle in like 40 seconds, just release and work another position
@@PrecedingPiebruh the brown belt was probably letting him work
Tapped a brown belt with this same strategy. Just be careful if they are alot stronger
👍👏🎯TQ
Owen Wilson seems to know his stuff. Lmao

Just go ear to ear and sprawl ... all of your details will take care of themselves
Kata gatame
That delay when he was naming the parts of the triangle 😂 the wrist, the elbow...... the shoulder.
Do one on how to fix you're nose 👃 hahahaha, just kidding.
One of my favorites.
He looks like a puppet
