Roger is the writer and composer of all the songs heard in this interview - Give a Little Bit, The Logical Song, Breakfast in America, Dreamer, Hide in Your Shell, Lord is it Mine, Take the Long Way Home, Babaji, It's Raining Again, Even in the Quietest Moments, Sister Moonshine, Fool's Overture, If Everyone Was Listening, and Child of VIsion. He also gave us School, plus so many more. Many people don't realize that although Roger and Rick Davies, Supertramp's other co-founder, shared writing credit, they each actually wrote and composed separately with each singing their own respective songs.
Roger is continuing his "Breakfast in America" tour around the world in 2013 and is coming to Bospop in Weert, Netherlands with his band on July 13, 2013. Look, I'm a 57yo Aussie bloke, I'm an athiest and a lifelong Supertramp fan!! When I hear this guy sing his songs I just want to cry from the beauty of the words even though I know a lot of his songs stem from his spiritual beliefs. I am off to his concert in Sydney on 4th April with my wife and 2 teenage kids. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Thanks a lot for this wonderful upload .Good to see young Roger here. I remember so well that year 79 when the Logical Song was actual. I was 19 then and loved it so much - until nowadays. But those days for some people the lyrics had to do something with a small "revolution". Anyway, I still like all Supertramp-songs written and performed by Roger. He always was the voice of that band. And he´s of a very modest, kind and friendly nature - that´s what I like, too.

Saw him and his band in Rochester last night. Very good show. Fantastic voice. Part minstrel-part prog rock. Incredible talent. Roger talked to the crowd in between each and every song. Very gentle soul. I'd recommend his live shows to everyone. Can't wait until he comes again!

I had NO IDEA he was here in Victoria a year ago! I just missed him in Vancouver this year too. Fingers so crossed for another West Coast show. He would make the best first concert for me.
