@@giuseppelatina2640 I'll find out soon after it gets run in. From a size and weight point of view it's not that different from the 660 so I don't know how well it will fit into the fleet. It wasn't cheap to save this one so hopefully it's good
If catalogs are to be believed, 3/8 RMF was only available as a 33 (3654). Probably with the North American market in mind. Although as we know they had or have different "hidden" chains intended only for selected markets or for the chosen ones. E.g. I recently noticed that not too long ago they had (or still have) something like RMU on offer, where U stands for unchromed.
@@elpolaco7654 I'm not 100% sure but I think 36RMF was listed in the price book when I ordered this. I'll have to get a pic of the list next time I'm there. I'm still shocked that chipper is listed in other parts of the world but isn't available here. I think it would be really well suited to the types of wood cut here
@@SawChainTheories Anything is possible with the availability of different Stihl chains, although I think in this case there will probably only be .050. But I can be wrong ofc. Taking a picture is a good idea, if they don't mind! I have access to several Stihl price lists, but there are only symbols, a brief description and prices. There are even rolls of Topic in one of them, which I saw a loop of in one of the German online stores when I was browsing the offers for Rapid Standard. 🤯 When I inquired here about the offer for Standard they not directly informed me that they have it listed, but it can't be ordered, and asked me not to ask again. 😅
46RMF is on the list in two versions: 3671 seen in the video and 3883. They probably differ in the presence of dimples in the drivers (among other things maybe). The same situation is with the 33RMF.
Ms 461 was one of the best non M Tronic chainsaws Stihl ever made, worth the investment to rebuild it 🤙
