The 6MT is not a good match with the Pentastar V6. The 3.6L does not produce much torque at low RPMs (it's really a 'car' engine IMO). The 8 speed auto would maximize the torque curve much better. I got rid of my 6MT Gladiator because of it, and I normally only buy manuals; still own two of them...

8 yrs in the making? did they lose the plans for the 1940 jeep? thats all we want. canvas top n' doors. 4x4 stick. keep it simple stupid. KISS METHOD. $8K for pickups was the new standard (gm subaru toyota ford kia)... til ford saids a $5k pickup is in the making. jeep, make it competitive or you lose. $5k is pu standard. no cvt's or automatics allowed
