I’ve owned a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0 liter straight six for going on 21 years and it has never given me a moment of problems.
If the Jeep Short Cut has a top and doors I’m interested but if it’s strictly no top no doors then I’m out.
Yeah that's where I'm at this far north I'd be sick of topless in a week it'd spend September to May in the garage.
I like the shortcut concept. Offer a 2 door sub sport wrangler model with a locking differential, manual or automatic. Delete the rear seat. Delete the hard top. Give it the half dooors. Limit the options list. Make it the lightest most basic Jeep.
That's an older concept model. It's platform is a JK if they were building them now it would be the JL platform
How long before the ‘short-cut’ goes the way the original Wrangler did? An obscenely expensive, fuel-thirsty, doo-dad filled, 4-door copy of the Jeep model we currently have?

The competition is scared. Ah no, there is no competition. Your laws and what not , Chicken Tax, make it impossible to import small SUV's . Suzuki and Toyota etc., could whip Jeep's ass if not for your non free enterprise laws.
Every auto manufacturer are pricing them selves out of business . It's unrealistic I make decent money in my area 90k and I can't afford most vehicles that are on the market today ! How do people afford them anymore ? And this little jeep will be 50k I guarantee it . There's no way they have that much in these vehicles.
