There was a video where a guy had the consent of the father to see if he could entice his teen daughter to come out the house to meet him in the park. The father was sure that his teen daughter would not go. She sneaked out and went to meet the stranger and the father came out of hiding and scolded her. She was crying and apologetic to the father. She said it would not happen again. Some time later, the father asked the same guy to see if he could talk his younger teen daughter into coming out to meet him. The father seriously didn't think it would happen because of the lessons learned and talked about at home after the first incident but he was wrong. Soon after the guy told her to come out to meet him, she opened the front door ready to go and the father was on the other side of the door. She immediately started crying because she was caught. These kids just don't listen even if the parents gave them warning after warning. My 17 year old sister did the same thing. Sneak out of the house to go hang out at a club. On the way home, she was followed and fought her way out of being strangled. She lived to tell her story but many will not.
Yeah my step sister snuck out and was bad, she got lucky she never ran into a murderer. They hated their dad because he put sensors on the doors and windows.

Now as then tis simple truth/Sweetest tongue has sharpest tooth. It was the first thing I taught both my daughters and they learnt it well. It is part of their understanding of life. Sadly.
99 percent of missing kids cases are committed by their family and 95 percent of child sa cases are committed by family members such as an older brother. are you protecting them from their family including you other kids, nephews etc? this will keep them safer than the constantly perpetuated stranger danger narrative
My father was real with both me and my sister. I love him all the more for it. Being honest with me as a young woman from a man was invaluable. Kept me alive and ready to fight with everything I had of the unthinkable happened.
I agree with this sentiment but I’d also like to add that it could be half and half. You always gotta find a balance as a parent, and I feel like that’s the most difficult part of being a guardian. As much as being protective is definitely the right thing to do, I’d say that freedom and trust are huge factors in protecting them. A lot of kids rebel because of their parents being OVERprotective and it causes this. But ofc take this with a grain of salt but this is coming from someone who’s parents never allowed them to go outside with them and it caused me to become ignorant of the dangers truly out there

You're absolutely correct. My whole issue with this case starts out with her sneaking out at the age of 12. Having a BF at 12. You gotta realise that there's people who get paid to get them here, and our governments failure to enforce border control is the problem.
I had read this case when it first came out last week and was wondering why she was out alone so early in the morning with two men, but now we come to find out she snuck out of her home and they were total strangers! Parents: Put alarms on your doors and windows and activate them at night, especially if you have a child prone to sneaking out. Don’t give the child(ren) the alarm code. Also, take their electronic devices at a certain time. If those two proactive measures were done, the child would still be here. I understand that the murderers bear the fault, but we have to have a mindset to be proactively protective of our children.

Facts gang
People who want to visit USA legally go through so much, background check, financial disclosures and on, and it is expensive. But for some reason USA let all this criminals enter through the border and for free.
Exactly. Punished for following the law.
Every country in South & Central America is tired of this too. Thousands of Venezuelan immigrants have crossed the borders into Peru, Chile, Ecuador, and many other countries. All they brought and continue to bring is crime, drugs, and prostitution and the government does nothing to stop them. They're not even asked for identification. At least in the US, these two guys will go to court and hopefully go to jail, in my country they would be set free or not even arrested. Our government is a joke.
Yeah, that exactly made it lose value to become a legal citizen since everyone else is allowed to skip the line and not have consequences
Preach. My parents came legally and worked from day one or two and on...
DEMONKKKRATS ALLOW THIS!
I recently watched a travel show. The person was visiting Venezuela. Traveler was in one of Caracas, Venezuela most dangerous suburbs and commented area seemed safe and sorta like a ghost-town. A local Venezuelan man said; yes, it’s safe now here, because the criminals have fled the city. Traveler asked; running from a police crackdown? And local said; no, they went to the USA/Canada.
You are right, they went not only to Canada/Venezuela, but to Peru, Chile, Colombia, etc..
The woman in pink blazer is mistaken. It was not a team of people searching that found Joselyn. It was one woman who happened to be driving by the Bayou and looked down to see what appeared to be body floating in the water. Please get your facts straight.
She first thought it was a mannequin
Irritating when people make incorrect statements on the news.
I distinctly heard a reporter say that people were out searching but that a woman driving by saw the body and reported it. I think you missed that.
@@genepozniakyeah, I just heard this.
Well, it seems you too need to pay attention because the women in pink sweater did mention that an individual found her, but regardless why does it bother you so much? Whether a group of people found her or a single person?
This is so wrong what do you even see in a 12 year old girl ?? Why some people are really sick
I live in a small county town in PA. Quiet, safe, very low crime, etc. People look out for each other here. I have three daughters, my middle girl is 12. Even here, I don't allow her or her sisters outside at night alone. Not even to sit out front. She gets mad all the time and even calls me paranoid. I always say to her: "Honey, remember, I grew up in Philly. Nowhere on earth is 100% safe."
Geez... not even the front porch? I hope you have a back porch at least 😂
And you definitely sound controlling and paranoid with your logic may as well never leave house i could get shot at like boo there is always danger but playing scared and acting like a whimp isn't going to make it go away so sure be paranoid just remember when your alone that its your fault your alone in a nursing home and no one comes to visit
So what's your point...other than NO place on earth is safe? Ya might as well move back to Philly.
@@MPPG663I mean, not letting your kids out in the front yard at night alone is pretty reasonable. It’s facing the street and everybody else, and if you live in a busy place it’s even more understandable
@Punkchic207 I didn't say anything about the yard. I said the porch.
I'm not saying this mother is wrong for having restrictions, but sitting on my front porch by myself or with friends is a great memory.

There is your answer.
This is why parents have to set boundaries and keep an eye on their kids. Know who they are taking to, when, how, why etc. Truly sad.
I’ve seen cases like this on ID channel Web of Lies. The children think they’re talking to people around their age but they’re not. They end up in bad situations and unalived. She was so young and this is so sad.
Every parent need to sit with their pre-teen, watch this difficult to watch video. Then share with the kids that the outside world is not as safe as they think it is. There are evil people in the world that have no problem doing to a young person exactly what they want.
Totally agree. I sat with my daughter when she was a pre teen and watched Megan is Missing.
It's a horror movie because it's so damn realistic and it stuck with her. I think especially young girls should watch this movie because it certainly makes them think twice about a bunch of different things. It's a tough movie to watch.
I’m so disgusted with the people who have the balls to shame her mom over her little girl sneaking out. Absolutely gross!
That's what I hate about reading comments!! It stirs my heart so much & I have to hold back a wise mindset ahhhhh

What does sexua-lly assaulting, strangling and k*lling a CHILD as GROWN MEN say about how they were raised?
Irrelevant to bring in how the child was parented. Everyone blaming the girls parents…not the actual assaulters or even the parents who raised those monsters?

I snuck out all the time as a kid. I wore big hoodies and jeans and attempted to dress like a guy so people would leave me alone - which for the most part I guess it worked, though I wasn't without run-ins. Two decades later, I look back on my teen years and consider myself Very fortunate.

How does none citizens have rights in our country?
Because the constitution protects noncitizens from government overreach also. They have many of the same protections that a citizen would, such as the the right to free speech, the right to be secure from unreasonable search and seizure, the right to due process and equal justice, as well to legal counsel.
Not being an American citizen does not strip them of their basic rights as individual human beings.
